One of the hardest parts out leaving the neighborhood is leaving Brooklyn Bubbles. I consistently did wash and fold along with dry clean services. Always reliable. Price is great. I use my own detergent as I am sensitive to that stuff and they always use it. Clothes are clean neat and tidy upon pick up. ANYONE who could say anything negative about this place really should just leave the nieghboorhood. I have used Brooklyn Bubbles pick up wash and fold service for 6+ years and could not be happier. A well rounded family business where every employee actually works. Every time I walk into this place or interact with any of the staff I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile and treated with respect. Sure over the years I have received someone else's underwear, and i've lost a sock or two myself. Sometimes i've called for a pickup and no one showed, and other times I forgot I called and left myself. But the fact remains that the customer serviced offered by this wonderful establishment is bar none. I own a local small service business myself but I could not imagine the hell the customer base must put these folks through as far as the pick up and delivery is concerned. SO WHAT YOU LOST A FREAKING SOCK, SO WHAT YOUR TOWELL WAS ROLLED WRONG, AND IM SO SORRY THEY DIDN'T BLEECH YOUR WHITES (the bleach my whites just fine) GET OVER IT WASH YOUR OWN CLOTHES YOU LAZY BUM! Summary: Smallish place, but clean and good, quick machines. Will not tear clothing. Also features drop off service with competitive pricing (but I myself have yet to try it). After having more than one favorite or brand-new shirt, panty or sock torn and poked and shredded to pieces at the 24 -hour laundromat on Central and Suydam (now called Super Brite-beware holes in all of your fave items), I hauled my towering laundry basket on a flimsy luggage cart a bit further, up to Wilson. I wanted to check out Brooklyn Bubble, partly for the adorable name, and partly because their machines looked newer. I love this place! The woman who is always there when I show up is quiet and industrious, quick to clean a spill or help a customer. The machines are nice and newish and clean and nothing has gotten torn up since I switched laundromats. There aren't a ton of washers or dryers but I've never had to wait. I know what times are key, and I will never share them here ;) I've cut down down from 2.5 hours on a couple loads to 1.5 hours. You go BB. Also features drop off service, but I am of the wash-your-own-underpants mind. read more

Been using this place faithfully for about 6 months. It's cheap, fast, friendly, and I've never had a problem with them. They'll pick up and drop off which is AMAZING for when I've got more than I can carry or I just got home from work and can barely move. Also everything I get back from them SMELLS great, like... fresh laundry! This is actually the only wash and fold place I've used in all of NYC for which that is the case. It was one of the things that sold me on using them exclusively. They've never lost anything of mine that I can recall, but I kind of figure the trade-off for paying someone else to do your laundry is that you're out a few socks every once and awhile. If that kind of thing really irks you, you're better off doing it yourself (but still take it there and do it because these guys work hard and deserve your $$). The sign says the best wash in Brooklyn, and they mean it. I used to take my laundry to the huge place on Cornelia and Knickerbocker, but after they ruined two of my favorite sweaters (some kind of bleach? or something? no clue what), I started going here. It might be a little more expensive (I don't actually know), but without me even saying anything, they somehow fixed both of my sweaters. They use a ton of dryer sheets, it always smells great, everything is always nicely folded, and they're very nice. Lights and darks are always separated in the bag, so I suspect they wash them separately. Highly recommended. read more

I live less than a block away and am so so thankful because Brooklyn Bubble is the best. I alternate bw doing my own when I need it fast and dropping off when I don't. Never a problem with either. As lots of people have said their laundry smells great and is very neatly folded when I pick up. My roommate has super sensitive skin and can only use specific kinds of detergent. The amazing thing is if you have a need like that, write your name on your detergent and take it in with your drop off (no idea if this works for pick up) and they'll use it. read more

This is my very first review on Yelp, but I could not help to not write it. This place is the WORST! The laundry is barely clean and they are not reliable at all. I gave them a last chance this time and once more they failed poorly. If I could give them 0 stars I would, but unfortunately it's not possible. I told them really clearly that I need to get my white shirts bleached, I even seperated them in an extra bag, but they were not able to do that! Not mention about them being on time. They would say someone will call you at 8:30PM, but what happens is that they forget about it or they have a problem and so on and so on. I don't recommend them at all! I've only done pickup & delivery for basic laundry and dry clean. The laundry smells great and the delivery guy is always friendly. My complaints though are that (1) their estimated delivery time is always off - by anywhere from 30mins to an hour. I'm tired of calling to check that they haven't forgotten about my laundry delivery. And once during a rainy day, they refused to deliver my laundry due to the weather... But I don't understand how the rain would be a problem when a car is used for deliveries. (2) dry cleaning - I've sent numerous items to them with no problems except for once when a sweater was returned to me with a huge hole. They didn't even mention this upon return. If they delivered my laundry in a timely manner, I would keep calling on them. read more

I use this spot whenever I don't have time to do laundry myself. I usually call when I get home from work and they send someone to pick up my laundry in an hour or two. They send someone right up to your door, no need to struggle bringing your heavy laundry bags down flights of stairs. It could take anywhere from 1-2 days for them to drop off and the prices are great. Other laundry spots in the area charge a lot more just for drop off service. The only slight negative is that they don't give you a set date/time for when the laundry will be ready. I always end up calling the next day to find out when I should expect it to be dropped off. read more

I am loving this place. Service is very pleasant. Prices are extremely reasonable. And they have done a fabulous job so far on 3 loads of laundry that I dropped off! THIS PLACE IS AWFUL! I went to this place because everyone on here seemed to like it but their pick up and delivery service is the worst. I called to have my clothes picked up and they told me they would be here before 8pm and the guy didnt end up showing up until almost 10. When I had the clothes picked up they said they would have them back to me by the next afternoon, around 3-4, which would have been perfect. They never showed up. I waited all night, I called asking about it and thats when they tell me they wouldnt be delivering my clothes until 8:30pm the next night. So 8:30pm rolls around and my clothes still arent here. I call the aundry place and the lady says "oh no the clothes wont be there till 10pm" It's 10:40pm and I still dont have my clothes. I just called them again and they hung up on me. -The drop-off service is excellent! clothes always smell so wonderful. -I never really have to wait for a machine, which is so lovely. Only reason this place didn't get 5 stars is because it seems every time I go in there, there are always 3-4 kids running around screaming, pushing (throwing) the carts all over the place, running into all the patrons, and just being out of control (all ages too). It would be nice if there was at least a sign that said "children should behave like humans, not animals" or at least address the children's parents once in awhile. I have never had them do laundry, this is a review for drycleaning. It was inexpensive-41.00 for eight items, including 2 silk blouses and a really gross winter coat. The pants were only 3.00. Everything is very clean, pressed, and looks great. They are helpful, nice, and friendly. 8 items took 2 days. read more

Update 2/ their delivery service is NOT F R E E - it is more expensive per pound to do delivery than to pick up and drop off. // They pick up between 9 and 10 pm same day if you call before pickup time and drop off whenever you want if you call before 6pm. Like many others, I have never been to the laundromat. I call them every 2-3 weeks and a nice gentleman picks up my laundry and brings it back perfectly folded in a few days. He literally comes to my apartment door. Its really great service. I always tip him well. Cash only for deliveries! They charge $0.65/lb including pickup and delivery which is the same price of other wash and fold places in the neighborhood where you have to lug a bulging bag back and forth. My only complaint is they are HEAVY on the detergent, but if you ask kindly and speak a little bit of Spanish, this is easily remedied. I have no need to call anyone else. read more

This place is really close to my house, therefore its my default laundromat and I would probably be going there if it was terrible, but lucky for me its not. The drop off prices are reasonable, but for when I do my laundry myself you can usually get a machine right away, I have only had to wait on Saturdays when its really busy. The ladies who work in there are friendly and have no problem helping you. I agree with an earlier review about all the kids running around screaming, though its not really the owners fault that happens, just the nature of the business. read more

This place is reliable - I've never lost even a sock here. They are extremely cheap, but do a great job in a short amount of time. Pickup/drop off could be a little more reliable, but it's never been a big issue for me. It's a relief to have found my go-to laundry spot. The delivery guy is an older gentleman and extremely sweet. Everything comes back smelling fresh, folded immaculately, and packaged up in plastic. I usually separate my laundry bags by the method of washing (wash cold, dry low, etc). I really love this place. They are super duper cheap and easy to use. I call them to pick up my laundry, they come and get it, clean it, and return it when I call to schedule drop-off. They do a great job folding-- I certainly can't fold clothes that well -- but most importantly they make my clothing clean without me having to do anything or pay too much. 1 star because atleast the clothes were washed aside from that use the pickup delivery service at your own risk. Whomever is in charge of folding must have a mental disability. Ive never seen someone fold towel into tshirs or just roll up my button ups and toss it into a bag. This is how Ive receive my laundry the past 3 times . They picked up the laundry late Thursday night. We expected it back Saturday night. Called Sunday morning and it seemed like they had no knowledge of our order. Called back and said it would be done after 6 p.m. That meant it was going to be done today, and they had misplaced/forgot/whatever. Last time we're using them. We wouldn't ordinarily have a service - do our own, but it's for a cancer patient undergoing radiation and having complications. We can't do it ourselves. Should not take more than 2 days. read more

I had SUCH a good experience with their delivery service. they picked up and dropped off within 24 hours and came (for pick up and delivery) during the window they specified. my towels and linens have never been cleaner, and as a hairstylist, i have a lot of clothes that are borderline ruined due to haircolour splatter and they even managed to remove the aforementioned stains! this will definitely be my new go-to! read more
