Impolite and careless pickup and delivery workers. Our laundry bag was left in front of the house because they kept delaying the eta. They squeezed all of our clothes and linens into one bag instead of separating into two which caused a huge rip at the top of the laundry bag. 4. They will apologize profusely with no valid explanation or solution. They will offer a discount for the next time when they know you won't ever use their service again. 5. They will overcharge you for the service a week later, not providing any sort of receipt or itemized breakdown of costs.

Maybe that's the reason I screwed up this first visit back to this place because I left an entire load of clothes behind in the dryer! The staff was nice enough to keep my clothes tucked away nice and neat until I realized two days later that I left them behind! This place has been clean pre-COVID and they've BEEN sanitizing the machines and folding tables in between customers before the pandemic. Many of these Bed-Stuy laundromats make me want to hand wash all of my clothes and never step foot in a laundromat because they are just way too unsanitary-- but not this place. Once you take your clothes out of the washer, they are sanitizing inside and out. No more strange smells after someone takes their supposedly clean load out and no more bringing my own sanitizing products to wipe down the washers before use. They take care of it for you! Floors stay mopped and clean so you don't feel so bad if you drop a panty or two. Other laundromats I will throw away any piece of clothing that falls to the ground but here, I'll kindly rewash them. That says a LOT. If you need any detergent, laundry bags (plastic or cloth), bleach, dryer sheets, fabric softener, etc., they've got a little convenient store and a vending machine inside to get all the stuff you need. I can't say the staff was always so welcoming but the owner is soooo much nicer now. Whatever change happened has truly warmed his soul and I feel more happy spending my coins here! Before this was the only laudry place to go to because I lived a couple steps away, now I gladly drive to this place because it's worth it. There's a change machine (all machines take coins) nice size options for washers and it doesn't take a crazy amount of detergent to get things soapy. A quarter gets you 7 minutes for the dryer. If you are a nice person who doesn't overstuff the dryer, 21 minutes is all you need to dry a load-- 75 cents ain't bad, huh? This isn't a large laundromat but if you go during non-peak times, you can get your washing done quick and easy and maybe catch a show on the big tv screen while you wait! I wouldn't want my clothes dirty or not dumped on the floor and to go there the low prices aren't what they seem if washers are small as hell . And the manager was micro managing like hell.

This place is awful. They have lost 2 items worth over $300 a piece on me, straight up not returned an entire bag of laundry, claimed to not have a coat of mine and upon arriving at the location to search for myself, found it underneath a box of clothing loose in a basket. Awful awful awful. Styling clothes is what I DO and I know EVERYTHING that is going in and out of my house. Do not trust this place. They loose everything and will not compensate you for it. Yes it's cheap but that's bc they "loose" all of your stuff. Can't wait to come across the employee wearing my Y-3 pants. I will skin you alive. GOD FORBID you have to have a conversation with an employee out of the two word range of PICK UP or DELIVERY that is the only effing words they know. read more

To everyone who says that this place is the worst the are wrong. It's worse than that. The staff are horrendous and rude. Laundry smells like old rags when you get it back. It takes 2 days to pick up laundry you drop off at 8am. Also if you do your own laundry all of the machines are monopolized by the staff. Also we found roaches in this place actually CRAWLING out of a washer!!! Cannot make that up. Complaints are attacked by the management. I take my laundry elsewhere and guess what.....WE LIVE UPSTAIRS FROM THEM! You must avoids this place like a plague. Horrendous. read more

I was stoked! They also take credit/debit cards when the amount is over $10 (which mine always is)! I will usually drop my clothes off on a Saturday or Sunday between 8-9am and it's always available for pickup by 2pm... YES PLEASE!

Their sign states last wash is at 7pm so when I showed up at 6:20 the man kept disgustingly calling me honey over and over again and got closer to me without a mask telling me they close in a few minutes. I of course pointed out the falsely advertised sign and said I wish I had known (stopped by earlier without my heavy bag of clothes to confirm hours for this reason). So then I asked if that was the case for every evening and he disrespectfully called me honey again and said "5:30pm last wash." Then what's the point of having a sign that f-ing says 7pm! Dryers are almost always at a premium. There are two benches to sit. The staff (who I kind of feel for) is basically fine and can be friendly enough, but the customers, a mix of families, hipsters, twenty somethings, and people from the hood, are the usual NYC subject: disinterested, inconsiderate, oblivious to anything but their own interests, aloof, but also mildly aggressive. If you want to put money on your laundry card using a credit card, there is now a $25 minimum. Out of the two machines that make change for cash, one is broken, and there is no ATM :) The dry cleaning service was good when I used it years ago. I'd say avoid Clean City if you can except for dry cleaning service.

When I returned at 4pm I spoke with the woman from Monday night who told me the clothes would not be done until 9pm. This is especially frustrating because I was leaving for a week at 5pm and would not be able to come back until I returned. My roommate offered to return the following day (Friday morning) to pick up my items. When she returned she was told that the dry cleaning machine was broken and my items were not ready. They added that they had no timeline for when it would be fixed. They also did not offer to return the items and issue a refund. 3 days later my roommate received a text message (she'd left them her phone number so she could receive updates) which said not only were the clothes ready for pickup, but they'd been ready for several days already (it had only been 3 days since she'd been told there was no timeline for a fix). I will never go back to this business. Despite being ultimately pleased with the quality of their work (the clothes were VERY clean) their lack of transparency as well as their poor customer service left me with a bad taste in my mouth. They were so sketchy about the whole thing. A terrible way to run a business and treat a first time customer. I wouldn't trust them with anything.
