It went to 300 dollars a month for about a year with no other options given. We used a tiny space of the unit but that didn't matter to them. They didn't negotiate any other options, toys remained in the until maybe worth 300 when we were charged 300 for a year month after month. I would never give them business or recommend business again. What started out as a compassionate business quickly gave us the cold shoulder. Just sad.

After trying to reach the owners of this facility to let them know we had major issues with this person & her petty position as mgr. My hubby, who is handicapped, was made to come back & forth to facility in order to retrieve what was in our unit. For weeks we had no access & RATS had their way. So much of our things are just ruined! The constant badgering from this person was quite ridiculous! I would like a call from UTAH Administration bc NOONE should have to tolerate laws being called or lies being told on them. To MISUSE ur authority bc of a title and/or a inferiority complex is so small. So now we have to deal with a loss of a large part of our belongings. Insurance never pays, so we have to hire an atty to sue ESS... There should be good contact info for issues.

Then I went to see the actual units that I would be able to rent with the office worker. It was super nice to be able to walk the facility and they have great security and set up. I ended up renting the unit the same day so I could get the exact unit I wanted because the system didnt allow me to reserve that specific unit for some reason. Overall great place to rent a storage unit if youre looking for one! It's month to month so as long as you notify them 24 hours before the day of the charge they won't charge you the following months rent. Super easy.

Since Smartstop has taKen over…read morein July 2025, they have raised the prices twice. we list our discounts including my veterans discount and AAA discount. This facility is not climate controlled, I have a thermostat in one of my units and it reads 82*. Most of the cameras have been removed. They no longer treat for pests and there is no maintenance. They have removed majority of the cameras around the facility. Each unit, no matter the size, cannot have over $5,000. total of worth in their unit. If u do it's not covered. We lost our conference room, coffee bar and the great employees that made Amazing Spaces a great place. The new owners are a bunch of suits who are only there to make money. I was told today that rent will go up every so many months. Read their contract it's all in the contract. I have a lot of units here and I'm looking for a new facility to move to. I had a lot of friends here and most have moved out. My rent has gone up $200. since July. This place is a rip off and don't do it you will regret it!!!!
