North Loop Storage didn't disappoint on any aspect. They had several size choices, were priced about the same as their competitors, and the customer service was the deciding factor. I spoke to Annabel, who explained the entry process, how to use the lift, rules and regs and so on. She was patient and incredibly helpful and friendly. A young man was also working and he was equally pleasant. When I couldn't figure out the lift, she took the time to go with me and walk through the steps. Very positive experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Chris at the Louisiana location (April 2025)…read more I'm a contractor, and my Chevy van was in the shop, so I rather desperately needed a work truck. I called UHAUL on Louisiana on a Friday, assuming that I could just pick up a van on Saturday morning. Chris answered my call, and then gave me the bad news ... Lots of people are moving on the weekends, and so all the vans and trucks were taken. He suggested I contact the UHAUL location on South Main. Then, to make sure that a vehicle was available for me, he offered to reserve a van for me, at the other location. How amazing is that?! His store wouldn't get the business, but he wanted to help me! Chris is personable, knowledgeable, upbeat, and eager to help. I could tell he was swamped (I had the feeling he was the only one working in the office), yet he spent plenty of time with me, ensuring that I would get a van and could go to work. Kudos to Chris and the Louisiana UHAUL! (Unfortunately, my experience at the South Main location was NOT positive at all. See separate review.)

Two units, and the original truck as well. The truck we got out of the downtown location as they were out at the moment on Louisiana St. NO PROBLEM! They helped us get the truck to Midtown, set us up with 1 unit and when we realized that we couldn't get everything done in 1, they were there for us and had the 2nd one ready (right next door to the original) in 15 minutes. The security is awesome, the cleanliness is amazing, I cannot speak more highly of Jennifer and her ENTIRE staff. There is obviously a great amount of care and training for them as the culture of the store is refreshing for any self storage place we have EVER used. Ask anyone in the shop, and they are most accommodating, friendly, efficient, and above all respectful. As most times you're using self storage, it's not just because you have a surplus of items and want to store them (yes that does happen, but not the norm, as I have noticed) it's because you are in a stressful situation (moving top 5 most stressful events in life). Jennifer and her team are there to help in any possible way to help with your move, storage, and payments (online, over the phone, or in person). Truly she's a class act, and get staff follow suit as she is obviously one heck of a leader. Promotion is DEFINITELY needed for her and her entire staff as she moves up the ladder. I will not go anywhere else to have my storage needs met moving forward.
