If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this company. I've been a loyal customer for years and never had issues with customer service. After having my delivery rescheduled 5 times over the course of a month, without any reason given, I decided to cancel service. Of course, there is no way to cancel service online. I've sent 3 emails with no response. I've called 10 times in the past 3 days only to hear a pre-recorded message saying that customer service reps were busy and unable to take my call. The one time I did get through and spoke to a rep I was told their systems were down and they couldn't help me. I even tried contacting the company through DM on Twitter. I've just filed a BBB report in the hopes of finally being able to cancel. read more

This rating should be negative.... Delivery service is nearly nonexistent. So, absolutely do not sign up for water delivery. This company claims that it is short of delivery drivers but this (non delivery or failure to deliver) has been ongoing for over 18-months, well beyond pre COVID era. Explain how is it possible that you are on a scheduled service at least 12-months in advance, receive text and email reminders, then on the day off, you are bumped to the following day at least 5 times before actual delivery is made. When you call customer service and escalate, you are promised that delivery will be made and that service will be improved. When the representative attempts to contact local dispatch and unable to reach anyone to get an answer or update. You place an online concern and customer service complaint, and you'll get a snarky response 1-week later, "didn't you receive your delivery?". It is amazing the company remains in business, you are better off just buying the plastic bottles and refilling yourselves or just go with a water filter system. read more

Couldn't close my account for three month; my apartment complex not concurrent and wanted to close until I change a place; but they never respond. Signing up with them was the worst mistake I did. I've been a customer since 2022 and was not convinced by the service quality of ready refresh from the beginning. However, due to the lack of other water delivery options in NYC area, I remained with RR till this date. The service is very unreliable, out of my ~20 orders 75% were either delayed, missed items or included wrong items. Their standard practice is to send an email on the day of the scheduled delivery to inform you that your delivery will only arrive in 2-3 days. They keep playing this game usually 3-4 times (total delay of 1-2 weeks) and when you call to complain they tell you, it will be delivered as soon as possible. Customer service is friendly but useless, doesn't offer anything apart from an apology. It wouldn't be a problem if this happened once, but this seems to be their standard way of operating the business. Also prices have gone up, they cancelled the annual membership and service is only deteriorating. Very frustrating and I can only recommend not using Ready Refresh unless you really have to. read more

Stupid driver calls me at 7:45am to tell me he can't find my apartment, I tried to help his dumbass but all he said was I'll find it then hangs up on me. About 10 minutes go buy so I called him but he didn't answer. Then I go to look for him and saw him driving down my street but just kept going. I finally catch up to his speeding ass and told him that he was going in the wrong direction but he proceeded to lie and said he wasn't my delivery guy but he was the only one in the exact vicinity he mentioned that he was. He calls back for the third time and gave me some bull chet excuse so I gave him specific directions to my location from where he was parked and he never showed up. Then I get a message from the stupid company's automated AI saying that order was rescheduled because no one was home to recieve my order even though there is no company policy to not deliver items if the customer isn't home even though I was home and washing my truck, and I know this because my last two orders where delivered when I wasn't home but at work so this motherfaulker just didn't want to do his job and I supposed to tip this punk when he won't do his job. Adding insult to injury there are no live agents to speak with on the weekends. This company was on point when I first signed on delivering my first order within 24hrs but after that, they just keep getting worse and worse. This is the second time I've had issues with deliveries and there will be no third because I will be canceling my subscription and going elsewhere. For anyone reading this and considering joining up with this company.....I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING SO BUT TO FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY ALL TOGETHER. I've used this service for many years, but the service has really gone downhill in the last year. It's not just about delays which I understand. It's that the delivery drivers will mark the delivery to my house is complete when it actually wasn't. Typically they then show up a day or two later so my order is actually filled. But this last time they marked my house as complete, never came back, and now customer service is saying I'm lying about it. Really? Terrible service!!!! It is nearly impossible to get ahold of a person to talk to, which is terrible! Besides that l, when you have a scheduled delivery nine times out of ten it gets rescheduled not once but twice and even more than that. One time they said my order will be rescheduled so I'm like okay no problem. I was waiting for that date and time frame for my delivery. Nothing was delivered nor was I notified. Lies, misrepresentation and hidden charges. The sales rep lied about how cost effective it was but not true. You are better off buying your own dispenser. you make a deposit, pay rent and pay a reconditioning fee that is half the price of a new equipment. they never deliver the water on time always rescheduling. If I could leave fewer stars I would. I have had Ready Refresh for 3 1/2 years and for the most part - things were good. A few hiccups here and there. As of late (last year and 1/2) - i have not gotten deliveries on time, i get notifications that delivery is coming and it never shows up. I have to go to Twitter to get any type of assistance because the 1-888 is useless, noone responds to email. The service is horrible and unreliable at best. Avoid using this service at all costs. The first delivery was the only one that went decently. On our second delivery they dropped off the water, but did not pick up any of the empties. Then on the third visit they didn't deliver anything at all or pick up empties and still charged us. I've been trying for over 2 months to simply cancel my account. They take about 30 days to reply to an email and are unreachable by phone. They continue to charge me each month for services I haven't received and now I'm on my third chargeback. The service defies the name. They constantly no show or cancel the scheduled delivery. I can understand conflicts from time to time but the changes were constant. I have been using Ready Refresh since I moved to Texas and have never had any problems with them. I have read a lot of reviews that report bad service but they have provided great service to my family and I. I had one delay in two years but it was due to bad weather and they did a really good job of keeping me informed of what was going on. It has been nothing but issues since day one. 99% of the time the deliveries are rescheduled and never left on the days that are set up for your delivery. Customer service is not great either. I've been a customer of ReadyRefresh for many years. Most of that time I had no complaints. But in the last few years, they have been ridiculous to deal with. I have them deliver a couple of 5-gallon waters to my condo every couple of months. With EVERY delivery, at least one (if not both) of the following things happen: 1) The delivery is delayed... and then delayed again... and again... So the many empty bottles they are supposed to pick up when they deliver sit on my front porch for a week or so. 2) When/If a delivery is actually made, there's a very good possibility that the water will be delivered to my neighbor down the street. She has a similar address. In spite of being a customer for years (probably over a decade), they still can't figure out where I live. You would think the lack of empty bottles might be a clue that they're at the wrong place. The next step in the delivery cycle is that I have to call them or email them to let them know that there was no delivery made. I have no confidence that they know the status of the delivery (or non-delivery). When I talk to someone on the phone, they act like I should understand that "we didn't have any drivers that day" or "the driver ran out of time to deliver." So my thought is usually ... Hmmm... you knew you had deliveries but you didn't have drivers scheduled? If a driver gets sick, you have no way of calling in a backup driver? As far as "running out of time," one would think that the guy who has been waiting for his delivery for a week after 2 or 3 reschedulings might be prioritized and put at the top of the list for the next day. I'm no logistical expert. This stuff seems to be common sense. read more

This place is BEYOND horrible and unprofessional! How they are still in business is beyond me! Besides our initial order of the machine and two 5 gallons of water, we haven't received any of our other orders at all, they constantly rescheduled without informing us, and then lied and said it was delivered when it wasn't. Finally we cancelled, now we've been rescheduled twice for them to pick up their own equipment, once again a driver lied and said they didn't get an answer, the equipment and bottles are OUTSIDE clear as day, plus we can SEE who is in the parking lot or at the door smh. I have been using Ready Refresh for the past 4 months. The only time they made a delivery on time was when they delivered the first set of bottles and the cooler. The next month, the delivery driver went past my house and didn't stop even though I was in my yard and waving to them. When I looked at my app, I saw that they had rescheduled my delivery for a week later. The next two months they rescheduled my order for a week later the day the water was supposed to be delivered. This month, my water was supposed to be delivered on the 7th and we were already out of water. My app showed that they changed it to the 12th, which is today. I received an email that they were on the way today, then I saw in the app that my order was skipped. Each time I had an issue, I sent them a message in the app, and it would always say they would respond in two days, but they never responded. I finally found a phone number for them and cancelled my service. I will find someone else. read more

i am currently fighting with a collections company. i never received any info about any issues with readyrefresh as i have not been ordering anything. i have no notices about late fees or billing. all of sudden my account was closed and i've been getting emails from a collection agency!!!! before this i've always had issues with the delivery and pick ups and truthfully the billing was always wrong! i was being charged full price even if i didn't order water! looks like i'm getting a lawyer read more

Very disappointed. I called in November to confirm delivery for the 19th of December. Confirmed. Wasn't delivered. Received a text on the 22 that it will be delivered on the 26. Called to let them know that I had confirmed we needed before the holidays. She said yeah but his work load is to heavy..... I get it. But sounds more like dispatch doesn't know what to do. I asked if there was anything that can be done and she said no I can go buy my own water from my local grocery store. I pay 30$ a month for water. I can save over 20$ if I go get the water my self. I have had ready refresh water account for years and recently was moved under Sams club account due to the promotion but ever since have had problems with them. I set up auto payment and the auto payment keeps getting removed plus I keep getting charge late fees. I have to call every month to have late fees removed and inquire about auto payment. So today I noticed in my bank account a fee from them and I CALLED AGAIN (for the 500 times) to inquire about it. They advised me its a pre-authorization fee of a new policy. Like WTH, so all these months of calling about the late fee suddenly out of the blue they change policy. I talked to the manager but it was useless. They wanted me to provide my bank account info after 10 plus years because they are requiring some kind of payment on file. Horrible experience and their customer service on the phone sucks.
