In desperation and disbelief we had sweets so close by - I threw my clothes on and went here as fast as I could before my next meeting lol here's my review: Location: This place is located near the gas station on the corner of high point and centerville hwy. it's off to the right so you may miss it if you aren't use to making a stop over there. Parking: They have a few spots in front of the place so you should be ok for parking. Appearance: Your typical cupcakery, really cute fonts and colors and of course a full assortment of cupcake flavors presented. Staff: I had a chance to chat with the owner and she was super sweet. Gave me great suggestions, told me a bit about her business and had great customer service Cupcakes: To me, and I do not believe in bashing small business - the taste wasn't to my liking but for the price and location, I would purchase for school events or holidays for others! Definitely will give this a 5 stars and a must check out for yourselves! :)

I called before I went, just to make sure that the bakery would have a cake available. However, when I called, the person told me that they did not have a cake available for me today because they would need time to prepare the cake I wanted. But...she offered an alternative...delicious cupcakes. I hung up with her and thought about it... and loved her idea. I drove to the bakery, which was only 10 minutes away from my house. When I arrived, I found out that I had spoken with the owner on the phone. She was so sweet and helped me pick out some great cupcakes. My husband and I loved all of them! My advice to you is to go, grab a cake (or cupcake), and enjoy yourself!

Let me start by saying, I like to support small businesses by buying my birthday cakes from there…read more Unfortunately, for how much you pay it feels like all of the love and effort goes into the frosting and not the cake. I ordered a marble cake, I was hoping that they would cut and layer the cake but instead you get two, unleveled cakes with more buttercream in between..... I was hoping they would at least level the cakes to allow for more layers, especially considering how high the cakes are. Because then the cakes could maintain some moisture. The details are pretty and they were able to execute the funny cake that we ordered. But only two layers and TONS of buttercream wasn't exactly the most delicious. The cake also seemed to be on the dry side. Unfortunately I've tried the Walmart heart cakes and now I see why many people are going that route.....

The BEST bakery in metro Atlanta!!!…read more Yanet's Bakery is an ultimate gem! The cakes are delicious and absolutely stunning. Customer service is hands down the best. You will not find more engaging service anywhere else. They will work with you on any design and make suggestions within your budget. The red velvet is one of the best I have ever tasted. All the fillings are freshly made. The cakes last a long time which is great after an event, and there might be leftovers. (if guests don't snatch up all the cake!) The bakery is beautiful and inviting and lots of free parking. I have booked 3 to 4 weeks in advance and my orders were always ready on time, as they are highly reliable. Even though they are 45 mins to an hour away, I never second guess ordering!

I HAVE to tell you the story about our wedding cake! Tom and Jeannine with "It Takes the Cake…read moreLawrenceville" are SUCH dear people and I could not be HAPPIER that they made our cake!!! --------- 1: Jeannine and I corresponded through email and ironed out all the particulars of the flavors they offer. 2: Tom baked the samples and they tied them up in a ribbon, cupcakes with many different flavors for us to take home and try out. 3: They drove 3 hours to deliver it! I moved to NW GA from NE, and they didn't even hesitate to transport it all the way to where our wedding ceremony was. 4: We left a few flowers on the cake table in a jar and Jeannine decorated it BEAUTIFULLY. I absolutely ~adored~ how it turned out. They are artistic in more ways than one. 5: It was soooooo good. I can't even tell you how many times I have thought about it since. I need to place a continuous order for our birthdays and holidays etc. 6: And extra extra! They didn't depend on us snagging the top layer for the future, they brought us a COMPLETELY NEW tiny cake top, all wrapped up for our first anniversary- that is neatly tucked away in our freezer; we'll see how long it lasts though... Colton wants to save it, but I highly doubt it will still be there on May 3rd of next year, it sitting there calling my name and all... 7:Months later after the wedding - our guests and family are STILL talking about how "out of this world" our wedding cake was... is that even normal??? ---------- Can't recommend them enough! They are dear souls. Every conversation I've ever had with them - I have been lifted up and encouraged in the Lord. Love you guys so much! Senator & Mrs Hailey Ann Moore

Before our wedding, we were able to pick up one of Vy's tasting packs of cake, all of which were incredible tasting and helped us choose the flavours we would want for our final cake. Highly recommend picking up a tasting pack if you are able to! During the process, we met with Vy early on and discussed our choices of flavours, design, and Vy was able to send us a mock-up design that incorporated elements from the wedding dress which ended up being a great touch, and created a cake that was unique for just us. We have honestly never seen a cake fly off the table so quickly - to the point where we weren't even able to have one of the flavours on the wedding day as the guests ate it all so quickly! So many compliments have been given from friends and family about her cake. Overall, we highly recommend getting a cake from Syndesi for whatever event you may have coming up. The trip out there would definitely, definitely be worth it. We'll certainly be ordering more cakes from her for future celebrations!

We had to throw most of our items away. The only edible item was a chocolate cupcake. It was fresh and moist. I noticed the cupcakes are kept in an enclosed case and cake slices are boxed. The other treats and the quiche are not enclosed. They are beautifully displayed, however, I have wondered why they are not enclosed in a standard bakery case. My concerns (about the openness) are flies and other flying insects landing on the food, possible improper food temperature, and the commercial scents being absorbed into the open treats. For example, I have not purchased quiche because it is out in the open without any refrigeration. We visited in the afternoon and a sliced quiche was out for purchase. I hope my comments are taken into consideration. Meanwhile, I will pause my support.
