Cookies were on time, but that's all the good I can say. But, I wanted these to be so beautiful and so special for my sister's 60th birthday and you see the picture below what they look like! Not good! There are prettier ones at Kroger! She didn't give a rip about the entire process or making these special! There are no pretty shapes or pretty icing. And black icing for wording, really???? These are NOT WORTH $42 for 12 cookies!!! And, trying to communicate with this person is about impossible, like pulling teeth trying to get her to respond. She wouldn't respond to emails hardly at all, but yet that's how she wanted you to communicate with her. She wouldn't reply to some text at all or in a timely manner; and she would never actually answer the phone, so you could never actually talk to her. In addition, 5 days ago, I still had questions and trying to get answers from her and finally just decided I wasn't going to do it. So I told her to never mind I wouldn't be able to do it right now. And she told me she had already started them!!!!! ((Which may or may not be the truth.. because you see what they look like) . And How/ why would you start making cookies before you haven't even greed upon the details.. 5 DAYS BEFORE??!!! You wouldn't!! BUT, I told her to go ahead and make them, giving her the benefit of the doubt. She said she would like to see some sample pictures of things I had seen online that I liked and so I sent them to her. And they are nothing like these hideous when she made. I saw some things on her Facebook and website that looked like she makes some really pretty special cookies and she is young and starting up her business and I would give her business. HUUUUUGE MISTAKE!!!! She said it takes hours and hours and hours to make the cookies and design the cookies. Really? Look at them! there is no design it's just a cookie cutter with icing and BLACK icing for what are supposed to be beautiful beautiful 60th birthday cookies?? Hideous! Communication was bad! The cookies were pitiful and you can find better ones all over the place. So then my son had to drive across town to pick them up for me, after he got off work today. She works out of her apartment by herself, she said. But she had good reviews and she's young trying to build her business (or so I thought... HA!) so I thought I would try to support her! There was construction in the complex where she was, with barricades and roads torn up. So I called and left a message AND I texted her and told her that "He was there and couldn't get in. She knew he was coming after work at 6. And, he couldn't get in to pick up the cookies in the "box" where she had left them". It was about 15 minutes about before she called back, which by the way was the first time she had ever called back and I did appreciate it... Even then though she was so nonchalant it was unbelievable. She said well I'm eating dinner with my friends and I don't always pay attention to my phone. And then she said well even if he couldn't get in she said I could've delivered them tomorrow. She had already told me she charges were outrageous for delivery. And she knew that he was driving to get to them! She said to text her when he's on his way and we did. And she doesn't wait around to give it to you she puts it in a box outside her apartment to be picked up. She acted like she didn't care. I told her that if you're trying to have a business that's not the way to do it. You have to keep your phone available when you know that somebody is coming to pick them up. And you have to respond to people when you're trying to run a business. You wouldn't believe it! This is the worst way to try and run a business. If she does everybody like me she will never last in this business because the cookies were not good, they were not special, she does not communicate well, almost impossible to reach ever if you can reach her at all. Finally my son had to stop and ask one of the road construction workers how to get to her place. I thought well, hopefully, it'll be worth it because she'll make some beautiful cookies. But, this is what they look like. All the SAME shape BLACK icing on them and not anything special like we had talked about for a 60th birthday. Not worth the $42 for 12 cookies or the stress in trying to reach her. Save your money.

This is to add to my original review. I originally ordered 24 custom decorated sugar cookies. Bc of…read morethe horrible encounter with this baker on the day of my pickup I forgot that I increased the amount to 30. So yes, $112 for 30 UGLY cookies that looked NOTHING like the picture she agreed to make; that she tried to force me to pay for. I never once in any of my reviews claim that I paid for her ugly work. I have stated that she TRIED to force me to pay for them. The night before my pickup she sent me a message stating I had to pay the remainder of my balance even though she had NEVER outlined this prior. On the morning of my pickup we had a phone conversation in which she lectured me and tried to guilt me into paying before pickup. She told me things like "you're lucky I even took your order last minute" (it was 3 weeks); "I have bigger clients than you who have no problem paying in advance"; and my favorite "how do I know you're not going to pay if you see one line out of place". Lies! This woman knew what kind of work she was going to hand me and was trying to force me to pay in advance bc she knew I'd LIKELY not pay when I saw her ugly creations Krishna did send design change pictures at 8pm the night before my pickup, one of which looked NOTHING like the cookie she agreed to make (see attached photo). What professional baker goes from a cookie that looks like my original picture to the picture sent THE NIGHT BEFORE? So the following morning which was the day of my pickup, I contact her that the design change suggestion was completely unacceptable. I was loosing my confidence in her and I offered to back out admitting I'd loose my deposit but she assured me that my cookies would look like my picture. She claims I'm harassing her. After walking away from her and the ugly cookies in i box, I posted my experience on the mom's page I found her on. A simple before and after shot of what I wanted and what she tried to force me to buy. I asked for feedback to get validation bc of how Krishna treated me. My post blew up. Not only from the many comments validating how ugly her cookies were and I was right to walk away from, but also from other moms that were writing to disclose they had even WORSE experiences with her! Angry words from previous customers who posted their pictures. And stunned responses from the moms seeing them. I got numerous private messages of people recounting their experience that echoed my experience. Moms who planned special parties and hired and paid her after she agreed to make cakes from pictures they'd sent her. All left disappointed and heartbroken. I got permission to share their stories and pictures. I posted some of the pictures here. She wants to intimidate me to keep silent. That is exactly her tactic and how I'm told she treats people. She says I'm harassing her when all I've done is speak my truth and share the experiences of other moms who were also ripped off by her. Our stories are the same. Unsuspecting moms who hired KRISHNA to make a certain product that she agreed to based on pictures shown to her. She takes our money, knowing she cannot do the job and changes pickup times so you're left stuck with the mess she gives you.The only justice we can find for how she screwed us over is to spread the truth. And yes, I did say I could probably have done better a sentiment echoed by many others who see what she produced. So she's insulted by those words. Imagine how INSULTED I WAS when I opened that box and saw what she'd done to me. I will continue to warn anyone who asks for baker recommendations; STAY AWAY FROM 8SWEET TREATS unless you want to risk my disaster of an experience or the disasters of some of the other women who have come forward and have agreed for me to share their stories. Just look at their pictures. Shame on you 8Sweet Treats for not being ok for me to share pictures of the work you tried to dump on me; shame on you for ruining events of your customers, your fellow mothers; and shame on you for lying to us and using false advertising and shame on you for continuing to try to bully me when all I'm doing is share my experience and the experiences of other moms you've disappointed with your work! The fact is you can't handle negative feedback. It's why you blocked me and others from leaving our reviews on your FB business page; it's why you delete comments there. So go ahead and drag my ass to court for telling the truth about you, I promise I will show up with my story and the stories of these women. But I will not shut up about you. You have been ripping us moms off for a long time. It's time we get together and tell the truth about you.

I reached out to this baker to make a hot wheels cake for my sons 8th birthday as she advertised…read moreher business in a local group. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and the end result was nothing like what I sent. She delayed me picking up the cake until the day of the party and I had already paid (my error) so I chalked it up to a bad experience and not use her again. Unfortunately, I am now seeing other unsatisfactory results from other customers and felt the need to share my experience.
