For almost 6 months of going back-and-forth with another company, We just couldn't get anything done. I needed a mold remediation company to help out our situation. I came across World Restoration and read so many wonderful reviews that I gave them a shot. It was by far the best experience. Keith was the main person I spoke with to set up a day for Jim to get out here and take a look at our situation. Keith also helped with giving us references for lead and Aspesos testing companies. He checked in on us so kindly to see if we had further questions. He was So friendly and helpful. Jim came out to our home and checked out the area that needed to get treated. He was also very friendly and explained everything they would need to do to get things done and completed. He was patient with me about all my questions. They were so patient with us as we needed to wait on some testing that we had to complete due to the year our home was built. Thankfully everything came out negative and the crew was scheduled to come out to our home. The crew that came with Jim were prompt, efficient and friendly. They really did a great job at taking care of the area to ensure the there were no leaks or mold growth behind our walls. Once the project was complete, I needed help finding a drywall company and Kieth referred me to a few. This company is so friendly and helpful and will explain to you what needs to be done, and will answer all your questions. They also have a great price! I strongly recommend World Restoration.

I would definitely keep them in mind when I would need their services in the future.

He also was able to get my previously custom baseboard to match at a specialty store. The job was completed in a timely fashion without any hiccups. I was impressed Justin got the drawers and cabinet doors to open smoothly like before. He did a really good job. They touched up a couple of things during the final walkthrough to my satisfaction. Nathan responded to my message right away and came to my home the very next morning. From the beginning, Nathan was professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, very honest about the situation and my options. After meeting with four different restoration experts, I felt the most confident hiring Neighborhood Service Restoration. Nathan has extensive knowledge of the restoration business, having grown up learning the industry through his family, who have been in the business for many years. I trusted that he and his crew knew how to properly remove the mold while also keeping my family's health and safety a top priority. I also really appreciated how thorough he was during his inspection and how patient he was with all of my questions. He took the time to explain the process in detail and gave me a great deal of reassurance during what was a very stressful situation for me. Nathan was able to get me on the schedule quickly, and he and his crew did an excellent job with the removal and cleanup of the mold and water-damaged materials. They were thorough, kept the work area clean and tidy, and completed everything within a reasonable timeframe. I decided to file a claim with my homeowners insurance, and Nathan was an incredible help throughout that process. He understands the insurance process extremely well and truly advocated for me. He negotiated on my behalf with both the insurance adjuster and the independent adjuster who inspected my home, and he made sure I was fairly compensated by my insurance carrier. Without a doubt, I received a significantly larger payout from my insurance carrier with Nathan's help and expertise than I would have received if I'd navigated the process on my own. Having someone knowledgeable in my corner made a huge difference. I've worked with other restoration companies in the past, but the best service I've received has been from Neighborhood Service Restoration. Nathan and his crew were professional, clean, honest, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They genuinely went above and beyond, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. A+ service all around! I highly recommend Neighborhood Service Restoration to anyone dealing with water damage, mold, or any restoration project.

Nathan and his team were scheduled to come in the morning for mold remediation, but unfortunately,…read morethey didn't arrive until around 1 PM. Nathan was very apologetic about the delay and his team worked hard to make sure the job was completed by late afternoon. He even offered me $100 off because of the inconvenience, although I ultimately chose to pay the full amount. A few days later, Nathan came back to follow up on the work and investigate further. He suspected that the water damage might extend to the other side of the wall, where we had previously experienced a roof leak. He was right--there was water damage underneath the baseboards/studs in the adjoining bedroom. Nathan sent his team back out a second time to remediate the other room. It was a long and involved process to properly clean and treat the area, but I'm very glad he took the extra time to investigate instead of simply considering the original job finished. Although the initial delay was frustrating, Nathan really made up for it by being thorough, responsive, and committed to making sure the underlying problem was addressed. I'm very happy with the work his team did and appreciate the extra effort they put into making sure our home was properly taken care of. I would recommend Nathan and his team.

JUNE 4TH, 2026 NOTE: Detailed update about Restoration1's untrustworthy communication…read more Their public response below just proves my point. So, this is what to look out for, and the receipts to prove it: 1. TWIST FACTS/CHANGE NARRATIVE: - 6/1 "At no point did our team request that you provide materials..." - 5/21 "Please feel free to forward over the hygienist report and any other information necessary to help generate the remediation estimate." (They did indeed ask for materials but are now saying they didn't.) ___ 2. DEFLECT/IGNORE THE ISSUE RAISED -Dana "I've sent 3 emails to your 1 email..." -Janny "...if you are unwilling to provide results..." -Dana "I'm not unwilling. You just never asked. Why did it take this long to tell me that?" (My issue is their lack of communication, but she deflects to a story about me refusing asbestos testing, when in fact that conversation never happened.) ___ 3. DELAYED COMMUNICATION/NON-RESPONSIVE -- 5/21 Janny: "Please feel free to forward over the hygienist report...". --5/21 Dana:" They're attached, along with link to a few pics." (NO response) --5/27 Dana: "Please get it back to me...at your earliest opportunity." (NO response) --6/1 Dana: "Janny, are you getting my messages?" (NO response) --6/1 Dana (via Yelp): "...the lack of communication is very frustrating. It worries me that this is an indicator to what it's likely working with Restoration1." --6/4 Janny Yelp response "When you contacted our office approximately 1 week later" (2 weeks--not 1--and 5 emails/messages later, I finally get a response) ___ 4. CONTRADICT THEMSELVES --Janny: "You expressed to us on May 22nd that you did not want to proceed with testing" --Then her review says "Following the intial appointment [May 22nd] our office...left you a VM. Unfortunately we were unable to connect" (Here she says we talked, but her review contradicts her own statement) ___ 5. MISINFORMED, ARGUMENTATIVE, AND ACCUSATORY LANGUAGE --Misinformed/Accusatory: "You expressed to us that you didn't want to proceed with testing your property" --Accusatory/Argumentative: "If you are unwilling to provide results...we cannot proceed to assist any further" (Janny's tone is starkly different from most vendors'. They'd likely pose as a question--"Are you willing to" "I believe you expressed", --not an accusation.) Because of this, I'm changing my 2-star review to 1 star. But to be fair, this is just my experience. They do have great reviews, so you may have a better experience (if you decide to use them). Below is the original rating before this update: ____________________________________________________________ 6/3/2026 This is the email that I sent to Restoration1: "Hi Janny, I've sent 3 emails to your 1 email. And your 1 email was asking for materials I already provided. I was so impressed with your estimator's expertise and willingness to answer all of my questions that I likely wanted to use Restoration1, but the lack of communication is very frustrating. It worries me that this is an indicator to what it's likely working with Restoration1. The estimator came out May 21st. It's June 1st. Can you tell me what's going on with my estimate?" Their utter lack of follow-through was incredibly frustrating because I was super impressed with the estimator's professionalism, friendliness, and expertise. 1. The estimator came out May 27. 2. After a week I reached out. 2. Janny responded by asking for docs I already sent 3. I gave it to her again. 4. Then crickets... 6. I emailed a 3rd time for updates. No response. 7. I emailed again + messaged on Yelp 8. They finally responded saying I had refused asbestos testing, which they require. 9. I said I never refused because nobody informed me until 3 weeks in. So they asked for docs already provided (why ask for docs if asbestos was an issue?), did nothing for 3 weeks, said I refused asbestos testing, which wasn't true, and that I would've agreed to do the testing had I been informed, Janny's response was judgmental and rude. And the overall communication--or lack thereof--I received from Janny was misinformed, argumentative, accusatory, and rude. Had they told me about the asbestos testing requirement I would have complied. But, if my experience thus far was any indication of how it would be working with them, I decided to pass. I think I saved myself a lot of headache. Buyer beware.

My experience with Restoration 1 of Irvine during a water damage claim was extremely stressful, and…read moreI think other homeowners should understand what can happen in situations like this. Key facts from my project * Initial estimate tied to my work authorization: $16,653.79 * Invoices later submitted by the contractor ran this up to $50k+ * Those invoices were only for mitigation and demolition work * The entire reconstruction of the damaged areas of my home ultimately cost around $60k * A mechanic's lien was filed against my home during the dispute * I received zero phone calls with any management at the company throughout my engagement. All communication was initiated by me. After a plumbing leak at my home, Restoration 1 began mitigation work and had me sign a Work Authorization tied to the $16,653.79 estimate. Because this was my first insurance claim, I relied on them to guide the process and work with my insurance company. What I later realized is that I never signed a proper home improvement contract outlining the scope of work, pricing, payment terms, timeline, cancellation rights, or lien disclosures. The only document I signed was a Work Authorization. As the project progressed, the invoices escalated dramatically. By the end of the job, Restoration 1 of Irvine submitted invoices totaling $50k+. It's important to understand that this amount was only for demolition and drying work. The entire reconstruction of the damaged areas of my home ultimately cost around $60k, so the mitigation invoices alone were nearly the cost of rebuilding the damage itself. Their documentation states that if the scope of work changes, the homeowner will be notified before work continues. In practice, I was consulted on only two scope changes during the entire project. When my insurance company (State Farm) reviewed the invoices, they disputed a large portion of the charges as excessive. After months of review, the final amount paid ended up much closer to the original estimate than the $50k+ invoices that had been submitted. During the dispute I began receiving increasingly aggressive payment emails demanding payment directly from me, and Restoration 1 eventually filed a mechanic's lien against my home while the insurance review was still ongoing. For someone who has always paid their bills and maintains an 841 credit score, being treated like a delinquent customer was extremely frustrating. One thing I learned from this experience is that during insurance restoration work there can be a large difference between what a contractor bills and what insurance ultimately approves. If a homeowner pays the contractor first out of panic, recovering that difference from insurance can become the homeowner's responsibility. I'm sharing this experience so other homeowners dealing with water damage or insurance claims can make an informed decision before hiring this company.

Initially, we worked with another restoration company, but we were very disappointed with the lack of communication. They referred us to a construction company for the restoration of both bathrooms. After receiving a quote from our insurance carrier, the construction company repeatedly advised us that the actual cost would be significantly higher and that we would be responsible for paying the difference out of pocket. That's when I started researching other restoration companies and found All Water Restoration based on their reviews. From the very beginning, one of the things that impressed us most was Miren's willingness to advocate for us. He stepped in and worked directly with our insurance company, making sure that additional issues requiring attention were properly documented and brought to their attention. Miren was straightforward, honest, and transparent throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain our different options and walk us through various scenarios without ever making us feel pressured into choosing a particular solution. After our previous experience, that was a refreshing difference. I am VERY particular when it comes to quality and communication, and All Water Restoration did not disappoint. Miren personally came to our home many times throughout the project to make sure everything was being handled properly and that his team was staying on top of every detail. That level of personal involvement gave us tremendous peace of mind and made us feel like our project truly mattered to him. From communication and professionalism to quality of work and customer service, our experience with All Water Restoration was excellent. We are extremely grateful to Miren and his team for making what started as a very stressful situation into an experience we ultimately felt very confident about. If you are dealing with water damage and need a restoration company that will communicate, advocate for you, and genuinely care about doing the job right, I highly recommend All Water Restoration. I especially appreciated Miren's honest and straightforward approach. It's rare to find someone who genuinely stands behind their work and makes you feel like they are looking out for your best interests. We would not hesitate to work with Miren and All Water Restoration again, and we are actually looking forward to working with them on future projects in 2027. Thank you, Miren, and the entire All Water Restoration team, for your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to getting the job done right!
