When I lived in Park Slope as a teenager I went to Little Things Toy Store at least once a month…read more(usually when I picked up my comic books at the shop that used to be on 9th street and 7th avenue). The location I remember was about a block or so away from its current location (though I believe that was technically the OG "Little Things Too") and I always enjoyed checking out what action figures they had in stock. In this new location the shop is on a corner and it is still very welcoming. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Park Slope architecture but the shop just looks "right" to me for a toy store with toys showing in the window and an entrance that lets you see inside, hinting at the toys inside. All that said, this location is now focused heavily on toys for younger kids with very little aimed at a older collectors such as myself - and that's fine. Right across the street is Little Things Too which caters to a far wider audience. This shop is a great place to get toys for pre-schoolers to kids maybe around 5-6 years old. Beyond that I would visit the branch across the street. The prices seem very standard for what they're selling and not being a giant store like Target or Walmart. I purchased a couple Safari Ltd. Good Luck Mini animal and it was only a few bucks so not bad at all. The lady at check out was very nice and I had no issues with the service. With that visit, I headed over to Little Things Too which I'll be reviewing in the future.

What an amazing store with an amazing team. My wife and I were with my son and grandchildren…read morelooking for a birthday gift. OMG... this place has an unlimited supply of toys, stuffed animals, toy trucks, games and anything else you can think of. This place clearly reminded me of where I would go when I was growing up. No Toys R Us, Target or Wall Mart. You went to the Toy Store for a toy. My four year old grandchild was going to party and knew exactly what she wanted to get the birthday girl. Her mom had to modify the size of the stuffed toy but thanks to their amazing selection there was plenty to choose from. Once they got on line (and I'm happy to say that there was big check out line) they moved pretty quickly and finally paid. Following the cashier was gift wrapper. You would hand her the item and just a few minutes later appeared a perfectly wrapped present. I feel compelled to say that I do not understand the negative reviews. Apparently someone was having a bad day and took it out on a toy store? KUDOS to the team at Little Things Toy Store.

This stop wasn't on my agenda, but I figured my two little boys would enjoy just walking around the store. However, this place is so much more than just a store! This shop has two stories filled with different Legos to purchase (flowers, towns, Disney, characters, animals, etc), NUMEROUS built masterpieces, and several open play areas for creativity. This stop became more of an experience than just a place to browse. I loved all the photo opportunities and seeing the amazing creations at every corner. Legos are just one of those classic toys that is loved by people of all ages. I didn't even plan on buying anything, but I did walk away with a New York Postcard Lego set. It was the perfect souvenir to commemorate the visit. This store has so many options to choose from. You can definitely find the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, etc. You seriously can never go wrong with gifting someone a Lego set. If you're visiting New York, I highly recommend stopping here!

Date of visit: April 12, 2026…read more A popular stop on the edge of the 30 Rock area, expect a line when you show up if you are coming at a peak time. Even then the store is a bit of controlled chaos, but there are two floors to explore and some very impressive displays, from the New York yellow cab that you can actually sit in, to the replica Broadway show posters on the way up to the second floor. One of the cool things here are the items that are exclusive to the store and noted as such with a small tag next to the price on the shelf. Keep an eye out for these as you traverse the store should you be looking for something unique to bring home. Another nice thing would be the activities and events they put on for kids, making this more than just another store.

Lance is a wealth of knowledge and so accommodating of our multitude of questions. Go Fish has an awesome array of fish, including some we've never seen or heard of! Lance spent time showing us the dinosaur fish and explaining the purpose of each of the different plant life and driftwood he had in stock. We are absolutely thrilled with our first 2 fish and can't wait to head back in a week to continue stocking our new tank. While I am not sure of the going rate for fish, the prices seemed extremely reasonable. If that doesn't tell you what a valuable experience we had, and how thrilled we are with our new fish, I don't know what will!! Thank you guys for great service, selection and value!

I went into this store for the first time, seeking any advice and expecting to probably get blown off. Petsmart fish staff pointed me to an aisle and said "something in there should help." The owner's knowledge is extensive and his care and concern for our little Betta fish was almost unbelievable. He gave me thorough instructions and asked me how much I wanted to spend. Then he started grabbing plants out of his elaborate tanks and threw in some tiny fish for FREE. I wish he owned every single store that I shop in!
