They had an area with Thomas trains and a small end cap with a Thomas wooden train set kept my youngest occupied while we checked out the rest of their offering. They had a couple aisles of models - ships, military planes, cars etc., rocket sets, RC cars, supplies like paint and tools and some games like Warhammer which I'm not familiar with at all. I enjoyed stepping back in time while I walked around and love it that small operations like this are still around. We bought some Thomas items that were fairly priced and are happy with them. The guy was super knowledgeable, friendly, reasonable on pricing and had the patience of a Saint! The entire staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. The place was steady busy the entire two hours we were there. The aisles were packed full of rolling stock and glass cases displayed new/used locomotives for most gauges. Train sets priced from around $120 up to over $400. It was so much fun walking up and down each aisle with my four year old and hearing him talk about every item. Tracks, scenery, models, couplers, tools, styrene sheets, smoke, oil, glue, magazines, paint, and brands like Thomas & Friends, Atlas, Rapido, Lionel, Bowser, Walthers, Athearn, Bachmann. They have a nice selection of Polar Express items too and some antique items. We pull up, get out and were amazed by the amount of RC CARS they had insisde. The drift track on the 2nd floor looks fun, if only i had a drift car! The dirt track outside looks fun but needs maintenance. The service from the people there was cool and i and my boys got what we wanted with the friendly help of the smart lady there. It's not available to ship and barely available in any of their stores. Exasperating. I called the store and Cyril helped locate the item and told me he would hold it for me. Online it said they were in stock but due to the very far drive- I wanted to be 100% sure. Usually they'll hold an item til the end of business day but he told me they would hold it til end of business the following day. I was lucky because they had this white hand in stock and held it. When I arrived they were prepared and I paid for the item. Then I scored the other cool hand in black. Love!!

I took 2 smaller paintings there for mats and was waited on by Colton, the framing manager. He took all the informaiton for the mats with backboards and also sold me museum glass for one painting. He didn't mention the 6 dollar charge that goes along with a glass purchase. The 9x9 museum glass was $26, he told me 20. I was never called that the order was ready, but since he said he would do it right away, I visited the store 2 days later to pick it up. The order was wrapped up as though it was ready for pick up. When the store employee, not Colton, unwrapped it for me to check, we found the 2 mats and nothing else. The employee offered to cut the backboards for me. Because the mats were not cut well, every corner was overcut and one line was not straight, I asked that they be recut. The employee agreed and said he would explain the issue to the manager. We discussed a pickup date. Four days later, again no call, I vistited the store to pick up the order, it wasn't ready. I asked that the order be cancelled. I need a business that can cut a mat acuratly and have it ready when promised. Michael's in Quakertown isn't that business.

They have an amazing selection of trains, including all different gauges, also miniature buildings, animals, people and everything else for your trains set. We didn't have an opportunity to stay too long so I'll be back to take a more in depth look in the near future. The staff are very helpful and super knowledgeable so come with questions and leave with answers. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound.
