Just a few minor things. I personally did not feel like the cashier in the front of store was welcoming. Sure they helped someone who asked about their restroom, but I don't know that they ever greeted anyone who came in. I'm very sensitive to this when I'm shopping, because a warm greeting can mean a lot to unfamiliar tourists. I also felt like the clothes, to me, were on the expensive side. The price of $25 felt right for some shirts/blouses, but not for others, but it was a default price nonetheless. Replica band/concert tees were priced equally high, and some of them were beat up while not being vintage. Other items, I just felt like I could find at the thrift and get a better deal. I thrift a lot from many, many different venues, so I know this for sure. While I understand the beauty of a vintage store is that someone else did the shopping for you, the markup felt like a lot at times. Most of the stores I go to in Philly have a variance of price points. Besides that, it was a cool store. It was like walking into the past, which was fun.

Weeks later, when the store was not forthcoming with the insurance claim after UPS shipped and delivered my item damaged, Sam took it upon herself to help me expedite my claim by getting involved even though UPS guarantees shipping and she was not at all responsible for shipping, she immediately contacted the store manager to expedite the status of the claim I always say the testament of a great company is not how they handle things when they go as planned, but how they handle a situation that goes awry. Impeccable restoration on pieces from the 50s/60s/70s - if I could outfit my entire house in their pieces I would. Their price points are extremely fair, especially considering the work it takes to source; transport & restore. They do not hike up their prices to follow the MCM crazes that we've seen in the last few years (ie Empoli Genie bottles are $60-80ish, not $200), so I've always felt they're 20%+ lower than what you'd pay closer to the city.

I was beyond satisfied with my shopping experience and how smooth it was to just pick everything up from the back porch of the shop. The plants were stunning and very well taken care of, and the watering can was beyond adorable! The owner was more than accommodating with letting me know what items were available and keeping me updated with the status of my order. By the time I picked everything up, all of my items were neatly and securely packaged, waiting for me exactly where I expected them to be.
