I have to say, we are SO fortunate to have Go Fish, Lance and his awesome employees in Springfield Township. Lance is a wealth of knowledge and so accommodating of our multitude of questions. Go Fish has an awesome array of fish, including some we've never seen or heard of! Lance spent time showing us the dinosaur fish and explaining the purpose of each of the different plant life and driftwood he had in stock. We are absolutely thrilled with our first 2 fish and can't wait to head back in a week to continue stocking our new tank. While I am not sure of the going rate for fish, the prices seemed extremely reasonable. If that doesn't tell you what a valuable experience we had, and how thrilled we are with our new fish, I don't know what will!! Thank you guys for great service, selection and value! read more

The owner of this store is top notch. We had an algae emergency with our little tank and our Betta, Taylor Swish. I went into this store for the first time, seeking any advice and expecting to probably get blown off. Petsmart fish staff pointed me to an aisle and said "something in there should help." The owner's knowledge is extensive and his care and concern for our little Betta fish was almost unbelievable. He gave me thorough instructions and asked me how much I wanted to spend. Then he started grabbing plants out of his elaborate tanks and threw in some tiny fish for FREE. I wish he owned every single store that I shop in! read more

exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and immediately offered assistance. What stood out the most was just how knowledgeable they were. What an outstanding experience! The team (led by very personable Shawn) performed a major, long overdue cleaning of my outdoor pond. I was extremely impressed by how professional and extremely thorough the work was, including carefully cleaning up and disposing of an enormous volume of "detritus" that had accumulated over many years. They were all very hard working and a pleasure to deal with. I would unqualifiedly recommend them -- and will, to all my friends -- and I am already looking forward to using them for regular pond maintenance. The difference in appearance, "before and after" is truly remarkable. And the price, all things considered, was not only competitive but also eminently reasonable. Thank you! read more

Within 5 minutes, Joe Montalvo, the owner, was on his way and arrived at the house 30 minutes later. He quickly drained most of the water from the tank, helped us get a 46 gallon fish tank as a stop gap measure, then moved the fish. Somehow he manged to save all the fish. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound. The trains were not moving while we were there and they were kind of busy in the lead up to Christmas so we didn't ask to have them running, but I'm sure they would have turned them on if we had asked.

I have used this vet since the practice was on Ridge Pike. A Different Dr was the owner and Dr. B was a employee. Then he took over the practice. In that time he has helped me with putting two dogs down. He saved me from putting a third dog down. He either assisted or did a surgery to remove a kidney stone from my shepherd that was at least 3" x 2" . He helped me gain at least a few more months more with my my current English Setter. I am currently getting ready to have him neuterer a rescue we just got. When I first took this rescue to him he was no longer shaking when Dr. B was examineg him. He seemed to know he was helping ( until then he only allowed myself and husband near him) I was shocked. I believe the dogs can tell good people and this was a huge leap that the dog allowed the Dr to touch him. The point is I always feel better when I leave his practice as I am sure my pets do A His staff cried with me when they saw my distress when I thought I was loosing my dog, which thanks to Dr. B I still have at least for a while longer. The same day I thought I was going to put my dog down a couple brought a dog the that expired during the trip there. They did not turn him away because the dog already passed. They treated the couple with respect and empathy and I would have been shocked if I saw anything else transpire. Because that is the reputation they have earned in my eyes and experience. This Dr. Is a caring vet and I would not hesitate taking any pet there as my history with his office shows. Some people can't deal with the pain of loosing a pet as they are certainly part of out family but to slander him and attack is professionalism and empathy is morally wrong . Please don't listen to the angry reviews that have little if any basis in fact.

I had called about a week and a half ago to schedule vaccinations and a yearly exam for a dog we have not brought to this veterinarian before. I specifically asked about a 3 year rabies vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, and DPP (distemper, parvo, parainfluenza) vaccination and no additional services. The staff member was very polite and helpful getting an appointment booked, however did not notate the vaccination request, so when my girlfriend brought my dog in she was offered every opportunity to add services to the invoice despite the previous conversation between myself and staff while making the appointment. They recommended to my girlfriend a "Lyme Vaccination Package" which is a Lyme vaccine with a booster two weeks later. This is despite the fact that my dog receives flea and tick preventative (I am aware this is not the same as a vaccine) and was not discussed while making the appointment booking. This was $105.00 They recommended a Lyme, heart worm and Ehrlichia canis blood draw. This was $77.00 They also recommended a fecal sample for Giardia despite my dog having no symptoms. This was $71.00 Fecal samples are also normally included as part of annual dog exams, which was $90 at Montgomery Animal Hospital. I understand some of these may be considered routine for regular clients, but we have never been to this vet before, and I did not ask for any of these while I made the appointment. They should not have been offered to my girlfriend even if she was acting as my agent at the appointment. Again I appreciate the staff being professional and courteous throughout every interaction, and I do not think they could be nicer people, however I am very disappointed with the breakdown of communication between the appointment booking and the time of the service.

I picked up a fish tank off of Facebook and let me tell you, the tank was in the worst condition I've ever seen. I called around just trying to find someone who was willing to reseal and fix up this tank and I ended up speaking to Lance, the store owner for Go Fish A Fish Store & More who was kind enough to take on the job. I dropped off a tank for resealing and not only did he reseal it properly for a very fair price, but gave us extremely careful and valuable advice about how to proceed. This shop truly puts the big-name pet stores to shame. The owner is the sweetest, kindest person I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. My daughter recently won 2 fish at a carnival. I came to Go Fish A Fish Store about half hour before closing. Mr Lance was patient and informative about all of my questions and concerns.
