Reading Buses basically is everything for me. I use the bus to travel into the town centre, a school bus is provided by ReadingBuses® to take me to school and I do like buses a lot. The new fleet of 'Gas Powered' buses are great and help make a clean environment with help from Reading Buses' hybrid electric fleet. The fares are slightly higher than I think is necessary which is why it didn't get 5star from me but overall the company has a good influence on Reading.
The routes spread all over reading covering mostly everywhere; Caversham/Caversham Park, Woodley, Kings Road, Wokingham Road Earley, Lower Earley, Whitley, Whitley Wood, Coley, A33, Kennet Island, Madjeski Park, Green Park, Calcot, Southcote, Tilehurst, Oxford Road, Purley, Pangbourne and more.
Most buses are every 15-20 minutes but some buses ie route17 to Tilehurst or Wokingham Road and route6 to Whitley Wood are every 5-10 minutes.
There is a double-deck bus that goes to Newbury; JetBlackOne and a FirstBerkshire® bus; route190 that goes through Wokingham all the way to Bracknell!
Overall the Transport4Reading® group is spectacular and I wouldn't doubt it. Follow Reading Buses on twitter @ReadingBuses for information on travel disruptions and offers. read more
