However, they contracted out another company who actually cut down the trees - and dumped the trunks (10 - 12 ft sections all at least 6 - 8 ft. long) on MY yard. Just wherever they fell. I'm counting 25 - 30 trunks helter-skelter across my yard, as well as they cut down (chain saw marks) my white paper birch and a portion of my redbud tree. Both of those had survived 24" of snow in January - February. I asked them to at the very least cut and move the trunks to my neighbor's yard, to be told they cannot. This is an arborist? I can assure you I myself will never use Acorn or their subcontractor Battinelli. Sad decline of what was once a highly respected business.

Gave me a verbal price, we shook on it and the deal was made. The work was sheduled for a Friday morning (the day before my wife and I were scheduled to go away on a 1 week vacation). Realizing that the work done was more involved than what Jess had anticipated, I handed each of the the (5) men crew a $20 tip. I had 3 large Pine trees that needed to be removed and a large overhang of branches touching the house and the garage. I needed that all removed in order to allow roofers to put on a new roof.
