A man named Addison was doing an estimate in my neighborhood when he noticed I had a few trees marked off and asked if I needed any help. As a retired remodeling contractor, I originally planned to tackle the job myself. I told my wife that with a few purchases, the right equipment, and enough time, I could get it done. Well, after dropping the first tree, I managed to cut my work jeans and came a little too close to cutting myself. Thankfully, before I injured either my pride or myself, Addison came to the rescue. From the very beginning, Addison was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and easy to communicate with. He took the time to explain the process, answer every question, and make sure we were comfortable with the plan before any work began. When his crew arrived, they were everything you hope for in a contractor: punctual, hardworking, respectful, and highly skilled. The job was completed with an impressive degree of precision, efficiency, and dedication. Watching them work made it obvious that these are experienced professionals who take pride in what they do. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. Addison stayed involved throughout the project, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was done exactly as promised. My property was left exactly the way I requested, and the cleanup was outstanding. By the time they were finished, you could hardly tell they had been there--except that the trees were gone. Just as important, the price was extremely fair and affordable. As someone who spent a career in the trades, I know the difference between a contractor who simply gets the job done and one who truly delivers value. Addison and his crew exceeded every expectation. My wife and I were so pleased with the quality of the work that we already plan to have Addison come back next spring to provide an estimate for the rest of the tree work on our property. If you're looking for a tree company that is professional, skilled, honest, reasonably priced, and committed to customer satisfaction, I can recommend Addison and his crew without hesitation. read more

Over the years I used Cheap Tree Removals three times. The first time was in Port Jervis at one of my rental properties. I had two huge hemlock trees coming out of one stump. One of the trees was leaning over the front porch (turns out that tree was hollow). Cheap Tree Removal cut the two trees down as they cut the trees they craned everything down. That night I called my tenant and asked how everything looks he said it looks great and they even raked up all the sawdust. The second time I used their service was at another of my rentals in Port Jervis. This one had a big apple tree in the back yard that had to be taken out. They cut and craned out that tree. Afterwards Rich had the stump grinder crew come in and grind the stump to below the ground level. They raked up all the leaves, sticks and apples that were on the ground and took it away. The third time I used Cheap Tree Removals was at one of my rentals in Milford. Like the other trees it was cut and craned down and the cleanup was complete. I am 100% satisfied with all the work they have done for me. read more

Unfortunatly there are no controls in place to prevent other tree companies from posting bad reviews about the competition. We have no control on what people say about us. Our competition dislikes us because they cannot compete with our prices. I have no idea who these bad reviewers are some who dont even live in the area. Notice they recommend another tree service of the same name. We are the best at what we do with 50 years experience. True, there may be problems with scheduling due to weather, labor problems, which causes a lot of scheduling problems and oversights. We try to help every customer that calls us. We are the go to people when it comes to large difficult tree removals which many other companies cannot even handle at the prices that we offer. We do get backlogged, so its understandable if a customer may get upset but we can only do so much at a time. read more

Richie, with his crane and crew, saved us. They were awesome. Massive trees had fallen into our lake and crashed onto our dock. After two storms struck Sullivan County, trees were down everywhere. We tried for months to find a company willing or able to remove them. Then we saw one of Richie's signs, and called. He came the same day, gave us a very good quote, and agreed to call us with a date by the middle of the next week, which he did. Soon after that he and the team arrived with the crane. He's a great guy, 3rd generation in the business with obvious experience and great craft. I've recommended him to others on the lake and in our community. It's a pleasure to do so - we're very grateful. KT & PH, Yulan, NY read more

You would have to see it to believe it! Richie and his crew are fantastic professionals at tree removal. They have their craft down to a science! They were all extremely methodical and had my four trees down in such a short time. They all knew their duties and did their jobs so proficiently and thoroughly. I was in awe watching them the entire time. Another fantastic thing they do is the clean up after the trees are down. And I should also note that the price for all they did was extremely reasonable. There are no slackers in this crew! I would highly recommend this tree removal service for anyone who wants a reputable and highly professional crew! Thank you so much Richard!!! read more

I've used Cheap Tree Removals for a couple of years. Richie has removed a hundred year old, dying willow and several dying pine trees on both my home and business properties. Why do I use Cheap Tree Removals? Because they are fast, clean up all debris and affordable. I see other reviewers are upset with the amount of time it might take for Richie to call them back or get to their job, but he is a busy man running the company himself and working into the night. Stay calm. He will get back to you. read more

Two gigantic oak trees to be removed. Rich showed up with enough equipment to cut down Sherwood Forest along with five guys who obviously knew what they were doing. Half way through the job, my driveway and mulch beds looked like a disaster area. When they were finished, you wouldn't know they were even there, except that the two trees were gone. Truly professional. read more

Rich and the crew are experts. They showed up and took more dead trees than the agreed upon area. They left the area looking like they were never there except the lack of dead trees looming around my house. read more
