I echo the other reviews -- you will not go wrong by hiring Mark and his team. Cherry Hill was referred to us, and Mark promptly responded to my inquiry and provided us with a fair quote. When he saw the uprooted Spruce hung up in a Cedar, he did not delay in fitting us in his schedule to ensure it was safely taken down. He was a pleasure to work with and can't recommend his services enough. read more

Mark was in my neighborhood providing a neighbor friend a quote following some serious rain storms recently. A few hours later, word spread across the community and Mark had 3 more customers to deal with. A day later, Mark and his crew were on-scene ripping through fallen trees and clearing debris across numerous properties. Mark and his crew were terrific, quotes were very fair, and I would not hesitate to recommend their services! read more

When we first met with Mark it was evident that we were dealing with a highly experienced and knowledgeable arborist. We had to have a few trees taken down before installing a fence on our property. Called Cherry Hill Tree Expert Company and Mark came out and surveyed the property and pointed out all the trees that would pose a hazard to the house and fence taking his time to explain his findings in detail demonstrating his expertise. The property had been neglected as it had been vacant for over 10 years and needed quite a bit of work for which Mark provided a very reasonable estimate. Once Mark and his crew got to work I have to say I've never seen anyone work as hard as they did...they were AMAZING! When they were done they left the property pristine and what a difference all the work Mark and his crew did made to the property...we were glad to have followed Marks expert advice! In addition to being an expert in his field, Mark is an extremely personable individual. Having just recently moved to the area Mark took his time sharing information on all the good spots in the area even going so far as to give us a package of goods from one of his favorite spots...it was delicious! I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for an expert and experienced tree service...we know we will be calling him again! read more

Mark was incredibly easy to work with. Very responsive - I submitted a form on his website for an estimate and he got back to me the very next morning. He showed up promptly for the estimate, shared a lot about his expertise as a licensed arborist and was able to corroborate exactly how the tree we had to have removed died (pine beetles, ack!). Today he and his apprentice showed up exactly on time and our dead tree (plus the top which came crashing down last week from the wind storm) were cleaned up and hauled away in less than two hours. The cost I was quoted was extremely reasonable, especially considering the rising costs of literally everything right now. We had a great experience with this company and would not hesitate to work with them again! read more

From the time that Cherry Hill Tree Experts came to our property to quote on removing two large black walnut trees to the end of the job, we were impressed with their professionalism. Mark of Cherry Hill was one of three bidders on our job and when he was at our house to look at the trees he was willing to look at other trees on our property and assess their health. We ultimately asked him to quote on removing two other trees. His bid was lower than the other two bidders and we therefore had the two walnuts and an unhealthy catalpa removed. Mark and two of his colleagues took down all three trees in under a day and left the property cleaned up and looking like just like it did before but minus three trees. Again, very impressed by the attention to detail and professionalism. If you are looking for tree expert work I highly recommend Cherry Hill Tree Experts. read more

Great communication from the onsite estimate through scheduling around weather, to follow up. Day of, three folks cleared out three huge, dead maples and about 10 smaller trees that were crowding my house, all in a matter of hours. Thanks, Mark & crew! read more

We called Cherry Hill tree service via a recommendation. Mark was very informative about the health of the trees that needed to come down, as well as the dead Ash trees that were threatening our property. This was a multi day project. Mark and his team are very punctual. When he gave us a time that they would arrive, they were on time or earlier. Mark and his crew did a great job. We live in the middle of 5 wooded acres. So if we ever need more trees cut or pruned, we will definitely call Mark. read more

We've used Mark Martini's Cherry Hill Tree Service for tree work and firewood a few times, and as long as we're in NY we'll continue to use him. Mark is fully licensed and insured, and he has over 25 years experience. First, Mark's prices are always fair. More often than not, he's even less expensive than the other guys. We've gotten quotes from other companies and they've been more expensive. We get more for our money with Mark. Next, when Mark does the work, it is done professionally. He is very conscientious about what he is doing. He doesn't just drop a 50' tree into the yard - and we've had other guys quote us more for just making one cut and felling the tree. He'll either get in a bucket truck or climb the tree and lower with block and tackle. He tries to minimize the amount of potential damage removing a tree can do. We've had him get some large trees down around outbuildings and fences without any difficulty or damage. The latest was a large oak that had broken up top and was angled over our fence. The tree was removed and the fence was fully intact. When the work is done, it's almost like they weren't there. All the small items are chipped, larger logs are either taken for firewood sales (I believe he discounts if you do this - we keep our firewood). Everything is raked and swept. Mark always goes the extra mile. When he was out cleaning up after the big snowstorm, he even got a bunch of broken stuff out of the neighbor's trees and yard that he did not need to. He also has a great degree of knowledge about new technology and is constantly updating his offerings with cutting edge arborist tech, like tree lightning suppression (important where we are) and even tree x-ray. He's not the biggest, but for our money, when we need tree work done, he's the best. read more

I had to wait a little bit for Mark because he was so booked up, and I'm glad I did - it was well worth the wait. My property needed several days of work: downed and broken limbs, dead trees, trees that were threatening and/or touching the house. Mark came to do an estimate and talked to me about what he saw and the health of the existing trees, then he and his crew came in and did the work at a very reasonable price. The place looks fantastic, everything was taken care of, and their cleanup was extremely thorough - every bit of debris hauled away. I am very happy. You can't do better. read more

I would recommend them to anybody that needs a tree removed. I had a 90 foot tree in my yard that was taken down. When they were done, They cleaned up all the debris, every leaf was gone. Amazing. Very professional and very punctual. I am very happy with their work and if ever need anything else with tree service again, I will be calling Mark and his crew. Thanks again for a job well done. read more

Very knowledgeable and experienced. They were efficient in their work and tidy in cleaning up the debris. Held to contract. My only criticism is the short notice for the work schedule. Though the unpredictable early January weather was a significant factor in our case. The crew was pleasant and polite. read more

Cherry Hill Tree Expert Company - Tree Services Near Me - Middletown, New York

I received a few quotes to remove 2 mid sized Apple trees. Cherry Hill gave me the best quote to remove them and clean it all up. I have to say they did an incredible job. They came cut off all branches then cut the trees down to the ground and then cleaned up every speck of dust. It's almost like there was no tree. Wonderful job plus they were half the cost of those other quotes I got. I am going to have them come back and remove another bigger tree sometime soon. We just recently moved from the desert to New York State. We did not have to worry about lawn care or tree work. Looking online and doing my research found out that tree work is very expensive in the state of New York. I wanted to make sure we find the right Tree Service for the job. That's when I found Cherry Hill tree expert company. Mark the owner is highly experience and qualified for the job. Him and his team are fully insured and safety comes first. Mark was able to come out for qoute soon after a snowstorm . As soon as the snow was melted and the ground was dry he came right out and started earlier then expected with two trees. Then after a couple days of rain and the sun let up he was able to get the last two trees one day ahead of schedule before a lot more rain came later that week. After everything was said and done. Mark and his team had done everything we agreed on and some. I was going to do the cleanup and he made it easier by placing the branches neatly and organized leaving space to walk around. Mark and his team had gone above and beyond what was originally laid out. Their customer service was outstanding. They made our first time using tree services a good experience. They offer competitive pricing and discounts. Discounts can be found on the website. We will be more than happy to use Marks Services again in the future and highly recommend their services to others. Thank you to Mark and his team on a fantastic job. read more

Cherry Hill Tree Service just finished taking a HUGE pine tree down very close to our house in Warwick, as well as remove three other trees that were half taken down with all the remaining wood debris, and they did an AMAZING job. They were very careful not to damage the lawn with their equipment and cleaned up everything - you would never know they had even been there -- except that the scary tree I thought might fall on my house is now gone. Great job, guys! We got estimates from many companies and Mark was less expensive than all of them, but the quality of his work was top notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cherry Hill Tree Expert Company! read more

After a wind storm knocked down a tree in my yard, I called Cherry Hill based on a recommendation from my neighbor. Mark and team did a great job cleaning up and removing the fallen tree, so I asked then to come back and take down some other trees that were close to the house. They did a very good job removing the trees and kept the yard very clean. read more

I had a tree limb fall on the wires from my house to the utility pole and the chances of this happening again were very high. I called Cherry Hill Tree Expert Company (Mark was one of two companies out of 10 that even returned my call) and Mark came out the same day to give me an estimate. After we agreed on the price and work to be done Mark was at my house with a crew the very next morning. He and his hard working crew completed all the quoted work (including the huge tree that was causing the trouble with our wires) and they left my property looking as if nothing had happened. I can't recommend Mark and Cherry Hill Tree Expert Company enough. Mark is honest, knowledgable, and true to his word. I don't know about you, but that's what my wife and I look for when spending our hard earned money to have work done at our home. Thank you Mark and Crew. read more

Mark Martini and his crew at Cherry Hill Tree experts have completed two large-scale projects for me at my home in Mt Hope, New York, and we are about to start another job. I have nothing but praise, respect and admiration for Mark's expertise and professionalism. The first job Mark completed for me was in the Fall of 2013. I keep about 15 acres of my property cultivated and carefully tended. It was once an old dairy farm that over the course of 30 years I have attempted to turn into a park. I hadn't had an arborist in in over 10 years, but the storms, specifically Hurricane Sandy, and aberrant weather over the last decade had taken a serious toll on the trees throughout the property. Sandy brought down, or uprooted over 60 trees - all of which were over 50 feet. It became clear after we cleaned up the damage from the hurricane that I had to address the trees that suffered various forms of damage. After interviewing several companies I knew Mark was the man for the job. He was knowledgeable, focused, direct and laid out a clear plan that was realistically scheduled. He came back to me with an estimate, told me when he could start the job, and when he would be finished. All came to pass as promised The scope of the project was substantial. Upon completing our walk through we agreed that he needed to take down well over 50 trees, some of which were extremely difficult to get to and included numerous massive mature tress. He limbed up & cleaned up over 150 trees, many of the limbs being over 40 feet up into the various trees. As well, he was tasked with pruning and shaping 5 specimen trees, which were focal points on the property. Mark and his crew were there for three full weeks and treated the place as if it were his own. It was not a simple job. When all was said and done he had come through on all his projections. I called Mark again, at the end of summer in 2014, and told him that I'd like to do some more work. I wanted to dig in a bit deeper and virtually take out every tree on 15 plus acres that was deteriorating, suffering from disease, or fugitive in some manner. He was tasked with taking down another 25 plus trees, and limbed up another 50 plus trees. I also wanted him to prune up and shape another 7 seminal specimen trees, of all varieties, that were integral to the aesthetic of the landscape. These were trees that I had planted, shaped and cared for, some for 10 - 20 - 30 years that had become too large for me to tend to myself. Again he gave me an estimate, a start date, and a finish date, and every promise was met. After our first project together I trusted Mark to do the job and he came through yet again. He completed his work and the grounds looked immaculate when his team finished the job. All the specimen trees I entrusted him with looked better than they ever had before. Mark is a pro, and if you love and care for your property and trees the way I care for and tend to mine, then Mark is the man you need to speak to! I hope to start our new project shortly and I have every confidence that it will be as successful an endeavor as our first two jobs together. read more

Five Stars without a doubt! Cherry Hill is absolutely as good as it gets when it comes to any type of tree related work. After weeks of trying to find a company who would actually follow through, I finally found Mark's Cherry Hill Tree Expert Company and I could not be happier. I am thankful that the other tree services I sought did not work out. Mark returned my call within an hour of contacting him, was at my house to give an estimate within a day or two, and was back within about a week to do the work. Within that week he had a copy of their insurance policy emailed to me, and also had a contract delivered to me. He followed through on everything we discussed and gave me an outstanding price on the work I needed done. I live in a densely wooded area and I will not consider anyone else for tree services that I may need in the future. read more
