Brian once again helped me in the most friendly and kind hearted manner a person could ask for. Ill say it again this man needs a raise for being so awesome . As long as Brians with RBFCU I will continue to do all my banking through them.

Had an appointment to meet with my private buyer who wanted to finance my car through his bank here at RBFCU. According to the buyer, he was already pre-approved over the phone for the full price we agreed upon. The actual employees at this bank were only useful as far as faxing the appropriate paperwork, but everything else was handled via videoconference. I was under the assumption that this whole process wouldn't take that long from what I was told, but that wasn't the case. We hit a lot of snafus along the way where the bank had trouble appraising my car and ultimately, my clear title resulting in a lower price than what was originally approved. The loan officer solely relied on a version of the Kelley Blue Book system, but my limited edition vehicle's specs were unlisted so they had to downgrade and use an inferior model for the appraisal value. This was unacceptable and my husband and I were prepared to walk out as there seemed to be no way around this. Somehow, they found a way to increase the appraisal, but were still short $500 which the buyer managed a way to finance and/or come out of pocket for the full price by factoring in the TT&L and other associated costs. Three hours later, I walked out with a cashier's check for the full amount and a notarized bill of sale. All in all, this was a learning experience for everyone involved. Just would've liked if this whole situation could've been handled a lot better.

They took the check, whited out all of the information I had written except for my signature, changed the check number, and deposited it 3 times in one day into various accounts. The people who deposited these checks also experienced fraud. They were told that they were getting paid for something and made the mistake of trusting a stranger online. You hear these stories and think they won't happen to you until it does. This happened while I was on vacation no less. So how did R Bank handle all this? They cancelled my checking account and moved my money to a new account, filled out paperwork so that I could get reimbursed, called me for days after whenever a new charge came in to verify it was legit and more. Zac Parker, my personal banker, was quick and professional. I've been told that I will be refunded my $4000+ this week, only 2 weeks after it happened! That they are personally guaranteeing a full reimbursement even if they can't get the money back! Wow! I will never bank anywhere else.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and my call was escalated to one of the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with in banking. I asked him if knew what AML was and he had no idea and said he would google it. If I were his boss he would be going home early and asked to not return. I'm not even mad, that is just astounding. So...if you need to clean some ill gotten cash, I would recommend using Wells Fargo as they have no clue how to do their jobs. They should all be embarrassed - the employees and the hiring dept. Thanks for leaving me high and dry and not knowing how to do your jobs.

Clerk could not be bothered to help with opening an account muchless redeeming US Savings bonds - "don't do those here - takes too much time". Except I've ALWAYS done them at our bank - where else am I going to do them? I needed a new account for my late mother's estate. Rebecca Harbek (Round Rock Tx branch) was absolute GOLD! She knew exactly what to do and followed-through until I could access the account on my phone. Not once did I get a 'deer in the headlights' look from Rebecca or from Angela who redeemed my savings bonds without issue. My bank and my personal banker. Thank you. L McClure
