The problem came with my insurance company and different claims adjusters assigned. The manager, Barry, and other people, Nick, Darrel and others were very great to work with. I lost my voicebox two years ago to cancer, they were wonderful and patient with my current method of communication, as was Kaitlin the office assistant. My problem was not with them, but my insurance company and that created delays in my repairs. Had I known that was the issue, I would have paid immediately and delt with the insurance company later. They know what they are doing and are very cordial and understanding to my lack of speech. I would recommend this company but also advise for them at the management level to keep you completely informed. Many companies are waiting on insurance claims to be approved, however, insurance companies never want to pay out, just collect money. They did have internal issues, but not with the technicians, workers, or administrative staff, I am confident that this has been resolved.

Being that I can't really talk on the phone with small children running around, it was nice how patient and transparent they were with their answers. They worked very well with my insurance and carefully detailed in the paperwork how everything was going to look. Being able to leave my key with them to get all the work completed and not have to worry about a thing was great, too. Trustworthiness is an asset that they posses. After my floors were done, they helped me with a payment plan so I could pay cash on the remainder. The company lied about offering financing, otherwise I would never have agreed to the work…read more "The work" they performed was minimal: cutting some drywall and discarding it, peeling up my floorboards, spraying a substance on the subfloor, and running a fan for nearly six weeks. The workers were only in the house three times for a grand total of about four hours. Crucially, when they left, the remediation work was NOT complete. Another company had to be brought in later to finish the job, which involved properly replacing rotted, moldy floorboards with new ones. That said, around week two--before the work had even progressed a quarter of the way--they sent a bill for nearly $7,000. The person I met with initially had quoted a price of under $2,000. For reference, the actual proper remediation work they failed to do only cost the second company about $450. In short, this company took a ton of money for almost no work and, despite their job being to remove it, left mold in my home.

We had been trying to find a…read morecontractor to fix our bathroom floor since last October 2020, when we noticed it was getting bouncy. We had four contractors come out to our home and check it out. We contacted two large companies, Zion in Pasco, and Clean Image Restoration, in Kennewick. Both said that the 5/8 press board that the previous contractor, [2015- 1st Choice Restoration] used was not meant for counter tops and NOT sub-flooring! Both of these businesses said they would send us a written estimate for our insurance company. They never have. Zion sent someone out twice, but never did send us an estimate. We dealt with a man there named Urbie. Our last text was terse on my end and he finally answered, saying he'd been sick. Apparently he couldn't ask anyone else to take over for him. I asked if he was so sick he couldn't speak or send a text? He didn't respond. I called our insurance agent to see if they knew of anyone else? He said they had used Clean Image Restoration, Kennewick, WA before, so we called them [contact was Doug]. Same results as with Zion. On December 14, after nocturnal trip to the bathroom, I fell through the floor. Bright and early the next day, we contacted Doug at Clean Image with this info and still no responses to this day. Finally, we were led to a man named Michael Cardenas. He came out right away [Feb.12, 2021] and looked the job over. He phoned the next day and told us how much his estimate was. He said he had a couple of jobs to finish, but would start our job on February 22nd. He estimated it would take a week to finish. He e-mailed a contract promptly, we looked it over and accepted it. Mike was here at 8am, on the 22nd and everyday thereafter, except for one, when he needed to pick up some supplies.. When we called, or texted him, he responded in a very timely manner. It really sent a message to us that, even though our job was small by comparison to other things he has done, our project was just as important to him. I'm elated to say that they finished our job on February 26th and our floor looks great! He and his assistant even put back our washer and dryer, though we hadn't contracted with him to do that. After the nightmare we've had with contractors' [going back to the 2015 nightmare that was 1st Choice Restoration in Kennewick] we were hunkering down for another round of headaches. But boy, were we ever pleasantly surprised! As I said before, we highly recommend Cardenas All Around Construction & Remodel them for their excellent communication skills, dependability, and first-rate repair and remodel skillset.
