A few years ago, I had Palmers do a 50-year roof on my home. Great material, good bid, but some installation issues - the jibber-jabber crew paid more attention to the mariachi noise coming out of their boom box than the quality of their work. The ridge vent, which was not needed, was cut free-hand rather than striking a line to follow, consequently the opening was cut too wide in places, which meant the staples on some of the capping pieces didn't have anything but air to go into and so some didn't form to the roofline. On the bright side, when I called Palmers about this, it was immediately addressed with adhesive between the caps, but this shouldn't have been necessary, and the staples are still in nothing but air. Also, the crew removed some facia pieces and didn't replace them - I did. So, from my experience, I would say that Palmers is a good contractor but should train their crews better - just because something is out of sight doesn't mean it's not important to do a good and correct job. read more

Had a 6850.00 bid for a TPO roof on my garage. Had 2 other bids Randall were inline with one another. or so I thought. the other two firms included in their bid the sales tax. these crooks have a ultra light and small captioned note in the middle of all their descriptive BS that says Sales tax not included in bid. Shame on me for not reading the so called near invisible small print. So this is to inform anyone wanting to use this firm, yes the work was okay but this deceptive well hiding increase would have had me go with one of the other bidders. Shameful for a firm with the self professed excellence they try to convey. just a better construction crook then the others. will never use or refer this from to anyone. What an excellent company. I called, left a voicemail, and they showed up the next day and gave an estimate which was $100 cheaper than another local company. I asked when they could fix my leaky roof, and they said when I am ready. They sent a crew over the next day. Very responsive, not overpriced, and they stand by their work. A little more back story: I originally called another company. They did not show up to do the repair. Called them again, and they still did not show up to the repair. I actually called a third time, and they never showed up. Meanwhile, for 6 weeks I have water coming through my ceiling! Do yourself a favor, and call Palmer Roofing. read more

We got 5 estimates for our new roof, and decided to go with Palmer Roofing. So glad we did, they were fantastic. Jose was on time for the estimate, he was friendly and professional, and everything about the job was discussed up front. They scheduled our roof job around a vacation we had already planned and were very accommodating. The crew arrived early and worked hard - the entire crew were friendly and professional; they were available for any and all questions we had. They kept the entire area around the house clean at all times. The work was finished in only 2 days (as promised). We have a gutter guard system on our gutters and had a few "issues" with how it looked after the roof was complete; we sent an email with our concerns and they had a crew out the next day to "correct" all of our issues. Did not come for the appointment we arranged for a roof replacement estimate. No email, no phone call.

I had asked for recommendations for roofing companies about having my cheap Hayden installed Plastic roof vents replaced. My neighbors and few others recommended Palmer roofing. I contacted them and they came out and gave a bid. Now let me say they were the highest bid by about almost $200 to $300 compared to others. The reason I went with them was after doing my research, they had the best reviews, recommendations and they had all the insurance and licensees up too date. They also use very good quality material and never use staples on roof. I agreed to the terms and a set date. They showed up today and came talked to us before they started and what they are going to do and went after it. I had 8 vents replaced-1 flapper vent to the bathrooms replaced and both tube vents replaced with metal. I could immediately tell the difference in quality. I watched them for a little bit and they performed the work without any issues. They even brought extra matching shingles out in case they tore or damaged one which they did not. They applied proper roofing cement/tar under the shingles like they should and were they nailed. They did this when it was 100 deg out today. I took them less the 90 minutes to do it all. I'm attaching a pic so you can see why I replaced them. Almost all of them were torn or cracked. They said my roof looked good overall and we had no damage because we caught any issues early. I was also told by one of the workers that they been replacing more of them in our neighborhood, some were so bad that when they went to take them off they broke in half or literally crumbled in big pieces. So check your roof vents folks before fall/winter gets here. I recommend Palmer roofing. read more

Following a recent snow thaw our roof developed a leak in the same spot where it had been repaired last year. I phoned the roofer who had supposedly fixed it last year. He came out assessed the situation & told us that we needed a new roof estimating the cost to be between 18K & 22K. I knew I needed a second opinion. My realtor recommended Palmer roofing; they responded immediately upon our call. When their estimator Chris came out I simply asked him to determine what we needed to do to rectify the leak. Upon coming down off the roof Chris told us, in detail what needed to be done & felt that repair costs would be less than 1K. I asked him to go up on the roof again & inspect the entire roof to asssure that we did not need to replace the entire roof. Upon reinspection he reassured us that we probably have 10 years before reroofing. Our roof was repaired the following day & we were invoiced in the total amount of $672. Highly recommend Palmer. Great communication and service through the whole project. Steve was prompt to get me an estimate which was very competitive to other companies. Steve stayed in good contact with me as the start date got closer. Steve was forward thinking and saw we had a big rain storm coming a couple days ahead of the start date and pushed the start date back after the storm had passed so my roof wouldn't sustain damage while the shingles were off. The crew on site was professional and did a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day and using a rolling magnet to try and get most of the nails. I appreciated the effort from top to bottom and the roof appears to have turned out great. I recommend giving this company a shot if you have roofing needs. read more
