My 92 year old father was taken advantage of by this company. They did a professional job with the roof; but they priced their services $14,000 over what other local businesses charged. They have been reported by co-workers as targeting senior when they drive thru neighborhoods offering services. My dad lives in a 1500 ft one story home and was charged $29,000 with financing. I have had co-workers have the same experience with their parents here in Moses Lake. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I am trying to reach them to re-negotiate the loan price. This is a really disgraceful way to finacially harm seniors. read more

First off this score has nothing to do with David and Adrian. These 2 young men were professional and did a great presentation. Unfortunately this company's sales tactics are just like Kirby Vacuum cleaner sales. They are instructed to not take NO for an answer and just keep trying and trying, the price came down significantly 3 times but when they got to the lowest price, it was still double what my neighbors behind are getting their roof done for as I am typing this. I know quality blah blah blah, but when you live on a retirement income and your old enough that if the roof lasts 20 years it will no longer be my problem! These 2 young men totally understood my position and we actually had a few laughs. I told him if that guy doesn't tell you, you can leave after this next call you tell them I am sicking my dog on ya!! all 133 lbs!! I am sure the quality is superior but at 71 I don't care nor can I afford a 43,000 dollar roof that will last 40 years!!! read more

The actual construction crews were nice. The roofs good. The sidings good. But the so called fascia repair I was sold was false advertising (and HORRIBLY installed). The manager was less than helpful, condescending, and never once apologised for the false claims by the reps that sold me (instead claiming it was a difference of "semantics"). I wanted my fascia boards replaced but was sold the Dabella "system" that would completely "encapsulate the existing boards as if sealed into a ziplock" ( their words)... I was told that as long as the boards could hold a nail and were not rotten they would be encapsulated and protected, and if they were rotten they would be replaced and then the new boards will be encapsulated and protected. I was told so many wonderful things about this so-called system that I went with dabella even though they were about $20,000 more expensive than the other two quotes I was given by well established and highly respected local companies that were going to do all of the same things plus completely replace my fascia boards. I got a thin piece of L shaped aluminum bent over the front of all of my rotting fascia (not a scrap replaced). At best, a cosmetic covering. To add insult to injury, the installation was utterly shoddy... leaving bare wood exposed to continue rotting in multiple places. The manager's response to this was that my roofline was "weird" (really?!). I had to fight to get him to send someone out to address it to prevent rot... several times. Guys... the fix is so bad it would be laughable if it weren't on my roof. These guys are shysters in my opinion. 1/2 of what the sales guys told me was contradicted in the fine print. Honestly, my fault. I chose a company that sent commission based sales people instead of actual roofers/contractors to do the estimate and detail the project to me. Save your money and avoid heartache and stress by hiring ANYONE else. It took a lot of complaining on my end to get the cost of the fascia refunded so I can now pay another contractor to come out and actually do what I wanted done in the first place (and they only did that because I refused to sign off to release funding). I had neck surgery on 12.13.2023, hospitalized until the evening of 12.15.2023. I was discharged with acetaminophen-HYDROcodone (HYDROcodone-acetaminophen 5 mg-325 mg tablet) and methocarbamol (methocarbamol 500 mg tablet) for pain, both meds started on 12.14.2024. Refills for acetaminophen-HYDROcodone (HYDROcodone-acetaminophen 5 mg-325 mg tablet) were provided on 12.21.2023 and 01.03.2024 for acetaminophen-HYDROcodone (HYDROcodone-acetaminophen 5 mg-325 mg tablet). Additionally, I went back in for another medical procedure on 01.03.2024. A salesperson named, Zac B, arrived at my house, and unknowingly, I signed for new windows and labor on 12.19.2023 to the tune of close to $30,000. I have requested to cancel this several times, once verbally to Zac on 12.22.2023 and then a few more times as DaBella phones/emails me every day (sometimes several times a day). Zac B was let go from DaBella for unsavory practices. I have hired an attorney (costing money that I do not have as I am a retired disabled veteran who works as needed in a hospital). I do not remember signing this contract. I do remember a few different people measuring my windows in January. I do not, nor have I ever confirmed this contract. When I verbally tried to cancel this contract with Christian, Danny, and Stephanie, I was told that I could only defer the account. read more

My experience with DaBella was exceptionally good from the moment I met with the sales team of Jason Palevsky and Kendra Johnson to the time the window project was completed. Both Jason and Kendra conducted an informative and inviting presentation. I never felt pressured at all by them, yet they created the desire for me to move forward with the purchase of three-window project. In addition to their compelling presentation, their follow-up during planning and actual installation was excellent. Jason actually came to my home during the installation to make certain that everything was going well and that any concerns had been addressed to my satisfaction. The installation was expertly accomplished and the finished product is beautiful. I feel this was a great experience and very good value for the final cost of the project. read more

The quote process took, in all, over three hours. It started out friendly and professional, but by the end it had deteriorated into what felt like a hostage situation. I had to repeat myself seven separate times that I wasn't going to sign anything that day. Over the course of the final half hour, my wife repeatedly mentioned that we needed to wrap this up to take care of our kids. She was repeatedly and condescendingly dismissed to a point that we called him out on his rude behavior. Finally, at this point, he knew he wasn't going to get the sale and left. No apology to my wife, he simply told me "thank you for letting me know." The whole process felt extremely pressuring, invasive, violating, and uncomfortable. I have never before experienced more intense sales tactics. At the beginning of the lecture we were informed that DaBella is a family business that "does things the right way." When we finally got this guy out of our house, it had become abundantly clear this was not true. read more

I arranged for a meeting to quote installation of a tub/shower and enclosure. No one showed up. At 20 minutes past the agreed time, I called to find out why and was told the rep had called in sick. When I asked why I wasn't notified, they gave me a BS story about calling and getting a "busy signal" which is a complete fabrication. My phone would have alerted me to the call and sent them to voicemail if I declined to answer, EVEN IF I were already on the phone with someone else. With this lack of attention and professional integrity, there is no way I want to commit to thousands of dollars of work on my property. read more

Worst quote experience I've ever had- May 8th, 2023 My Husband filled out a form for Powell & Sons siding and ended up getting a call from Dabella. They drove from the Yakima, WA office. I grew up with my parents doing renovations and I'm well versed in how a quote should go. This was a giant sales pitch. First off the guy started off by wanting to use our bathroom. We were both very off put by this. It's unprofessional. If someone wants into your house that is quoting you and they don't need to be inside it's generally a red flag they are looking at what you have to see what you can afford. He basically told us that he would be very off put if we didn't sign up today and throughout his sales pitch he voiced this in various ways. He insisted on doing his sales pitch in our dinning room after measuring the house. We told him we had somewhere to be and he did not care. The sales pitch included telling us he won't put a lien on our house. Very unprofessional for a company to even mention such a thing. He kept making us answer over and and over questions like what happens when a little nail is missing? Answer, you get moisture in your house. We had to answer questions like this- I kid you not about 20 times I was starting to get really ticked at this sales tactic. Then they showed a graphic of all of their wonderful reviews, interesting because when he was outside all I primarily found bad reviews. This kid was in my house from 6:00-8:30 we told him over and over we had to go and he kept making excuses about needing to contact his boss. He kept stalling even though I had my keys and purse. Finally, I kicked him outside to my driveway. He did not leave. I waited around the corner for 10 min and he did not drive off. We decided to come home after 15 min and he was still in the driveway. He did not leave my house until after 9:00. I was honestly getting creeped out and took is license plate down because I knew I was about to have to kick him off my property and no longer trusted him. We considered calling the police. He came back to the front door and spent a few more min trying to tell my husband to lock in now after dropping his price about 22,000.00. Through out his pitch he kept saying a good customer locks in the first day. This whole thing was a sham. I felt violated and disrespected in my own home. I'm updating my review.. James originally came out and gave me an estimate on a few windows. He was nice and not pushy. I was ill and off work so I told him I didn't need new windows. Well yesterday I received a service call about the windows. I told the lady I have been off work for several months because I was ill. I told her I wasn't interested and didn't need new windows. She insisted that someone would be coming out and that I could make payments. I told her repeatedly that I didn't need new windows. I started getting mad and told her she was really pushy and wasn't listening to me. I told her that I was replacing my floors because that's what I needed done.. I didn't need to spend my money on windows that I didn't need. I argued with her for over 4 minutes. She didn't care what I was saying. She was too busy trying to push a sale on me. I told her she wasn't listening to me then she told me I wasn't understanding her.. which I did. I was finally able to get her to stop arguing with me and I hung up. I would have left my original review with the 5 stars for James.. but the sales rep yesterday made me change it. This company should retrain their sales reps. If someone says no.. they should honor it and move on to the next customer. If they need the extra work maybe go deal with businesses too. I was so irritated yesterday by that rep being pushy.. that's not how you get and keep customers. read more

RED FLAG - DaBella (Reve Exteriors LLC): for those wanting the best James Hardie (JH) cement board with color-lock to be installed on your forever home by a certified contractor warrantied by James Hardie, and you are considering DaBella . . . DON'T DO IT, especially with the Tri-Cities Office managed by Mr. Christian Humphrey, my POC. 1. Experienced significant order delays (signed contract 8-18-2021 is still not done as of 4-18-2022). My one (1) year DaBella workmanship warranty is going to expire before I get the job completed. 2. DaBella used substituted material in the fascia and 3-car garage trim-out (see 4.b. below). This is a significant contract issue ignored by DaBella. 3. DaBella supported inadequate installation contrary to the James Hardie certified and guaranteed way. Not a single worker has been trained by James Hardie as DaBella claims (I asked every crew member). 4. DaBella supported inadequate carpentry skills creating grotesque appearances: a. The fascia material was swapped out, the butts are not true, everycorner joint is off, the fascia board was installed by the roofing crew and took off the roof drip line making it 1/8" to 1-1/2" offsets, front fascia is a 10" trim board not the 7" size on the rest of the house, and the fascia runs sag. b. The trim on the garage casing is substituted (used primed 7" fascia board instead of color-locked cement board), was not aligned at the joints/seams and the top boards sag (they caulked to fix both issues), and the bottom cuts are off. c. They oversrayed my cement when they painted the primed boards used as trim!! All throughout interaction with my DaBella POC I heard DaBella does not paint, and if it's not in the contract we don't do. d. Contractor just installed the light boxed trim ... my lights hang 2" over the trim (7 lights total)! e. I have seams within a 16' section that are all over the place. This is where we sit and entertain. Just look at the picture. f. Contractor's inconsistent trimming of the doors and windows is a slap to the senses. Only the trim of the sliding glass door was properly planned/executed. g. All 3 garage doors have damage from when the old siding was removed from the house. 5. DaBella has not heard the feedback of the Alside 3-pane sliding glass door, which is: it skips and wobbles in the frame, the locking mechanism is temperamental and very hard to operate, and the frame flexes when you step on it. 6. DaBella has no quality control (all loops back to someone within marketing). I was told that DaBella's quality control is that if it looks good from 40' away it's a job well done. This is so wrong. My Tri-Cities DaBella POC and his installer to leave my property and send someone back to my job with basic carpentry understanding or no one at all because all I was getting was "that's how we do things" and "if it's not in the contract we don't do it." For my situation, even if it's in the contract they don't do it! read more

Sold as a dabella install when they just sub contract out the job. No communication at all between the sub contractors and dabella. One call from dabella to explain they will provide us updates. Never heard from them again. Interaction with the sub contractor was great and the roof got done. The whole dabella experience left us feeling bait and switched. read more

I loved that they came at the appointment time and were so polite and considerate. They explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I am a widow on social security and they worked very hard help me get payments that I could afford. Let me start this by saying we bought an old house that needed mounds of upgrades and our new roof is truly Amazing and we are happy with the product itself. Ryan L and Brandon originally came out and sold us on the new roof and basement windows. The roof went up timely, the installers were great and then the fight with customer service began. Here we are 6 months after our roof install waiting of promised refunds of unused plywood we purchased per our contract. 3 months after purchase we were still waiting on our basement windows after multiple measurements Alside still made the windows incorrectly. After requesting to just cancel our project and again asking for our roof refund as promised Christian H. came out and cut us a deal and tried to right Dabella/Alside wrongs so not only did we agree on new basement windows, but purchased 3 additional windows and felt confident in a new person handling our needs now. 3 months later (total of 6 months after purchase) and $2000 worth of window down payments we are STILL waiting. In fact they just sent the installers out to MEASURE the original basement windows AGAIN that we purchased 6 months ago telling me they are not even started yet (the other 3 are completed waiting on the basement windows for install). To today being told there's discrepancies in the plywood that was returned $240 discrepancy showing they don't owe us what they truly do. So here we are 6 months in, incredibly unhappy in the customer service department wishing we did not even start this project, with money tied up that we could be using to go a different route saving money on our heating bill with windows that function. I fully believe that the products are absolutely worth it! I really do, but the customer service is incredibly terrible and not worth it at all. I'm thankful I have family that know about roofing. They were were going to charge me over 33,000 for a new roof (that I didn't need) and gutters. For gutter they were charging me over 6K. Shopping around more in my local area made, I see I made the right decision by not going with them. I did not need a new roof. Granted, some things were needed done. And what I was quoted by the other company was less than double If not more. I hate how the sales rep pushed me into asking other family members to help finance this. (I had been off of work for 3 months due to surgery) That right there gave me a really bad taste in my mouth. She would not leave until "I contacted" someone for her Convenience. I'm just glad I saved myself over 33,000 on something I didn't need. I hope everyone see all these reviews before they con you into doing something you don't need. I texted the sales rep around 7am the next morning, she read my message and had nothing to say back. I ordered windows from this company after a hard push from their sales people. They showed me some windows that I thought were great. They swing inward so you could wash them from the inside. I told them I wanted those windows and asked them several times if those were the windows that I would be getting and they said yes. Installer shows up and they're not the right windows. So after another week or so back-and-forth with their condescending office manager I realized I'm stuck with the windows. They did send the sales rep out and he assured me that these windows worked the same way as the windows that he showed me but they were just sliders instead of double hung. That was untrue. The windows have to be removed to be washed from the inside the very thing I was trying to avoid because the windows are heavy and I'm old. They give you, they say, a discount if you write a review during the sales process and before you've actually worked with the company. This review is to counteract the other review I did in order to get a discount. I'm sorry I cannot recommend this company nor will I use them next year when I replace the rest of my windows. Not only were the windows the wrong kind but the grids that were supposed to be white show to the outside to be green and don't match the existing front window at all. This was not brought up at all during the sales pitch. Very disappointed, will not use them again. read more
