What an excellent company. I called, left a voicemail, and they showed up the next day and gave an…read moreestimate which was $100 cheaper than another local company. I asked when they could fix my leaky roof, and they said when I am ready. They sent a crew over the next day. Very responsive, not overpriced, and they stand by their work. A little more back story: I originally called another company. They did not show up to do the repair. Called them again, and they still did not show up to the repair. I actually called a third time, and they never showed up. Meanwhile, for 6 weeks I have water coming through my ceiling! Do yourself a favor, and call Palmer Roofing.

A few years ago, I had Palmers do a 50-year roof on my home. Great material, good bid, but some…read moreinstallation issues - the jibber-jabber crew paid more attention to the mariachi noise coming out of their boom box than the quality of their work. The ridge vent, which was not needed, was cut free-hand rather than striking a line to follow, consequently the opening was cut too wide in places, which meant the staples on some of the capping pieces didn't have anything but air to go into and so some didn't form to the roofline. On the bright side, when I called Palmers about this, it was immediately addressed with adhesive between the caps, but this shouldn't have been necessary, and the staples are still in nothing but air. Also, the crew removed some facia pieces and didn't replace them - I did. So, from my experience, I would say that Palmers is a good contractor but should train their crews better - just because something is out of sight doesn't mean it's not important to do a good and correct job.

Columbia Roofing - Beautiful new shingles

We recently set out on a journey like no other as we decided to bite the preverbal bullet and get…read moreour old cedar-shake roof replaced this year before material prices rocket toward the stratosphere even further.  After researching top subcontractors, and reading the horror stories of folks getting scammed by ethically challenged folks, we ended up getting bids from numerous subcontractors and after much sticker-shock therapy we began our earnest best-value review of each proposal.  One of the things that set Columbia Roofing (CR) apart, for us at least, was the fact that Daniel took the time to describe the process that would be used, including the materials to be used and how they all worked together to protect the house.  After some back and forth on the contract language, we opted to go forward with CR and we are very glad we did.  Day one of the shake tear-down I was chatting with the help and met two brothers who are part of the CR crew.  In short order I picked up on the fact that they were amazing guys with an outstanding work ethic, and no fear.  When I asked them about the time involved in getting the job completed, they let me know that it would take some time as "it's a big roof and extremely steep."  Tear-down took only a few days and they had the new synthetic underlayment and ice barrier up there almost immediately to ensure protection against a random rainstorm.  The crew then got significantly smaller as it was either 2 or 3 guys working weekdays and Saturdays to get the job complete.  They stood on small areas of roof that made me sick just to watch them, but they were properly secured to the roof and the brothers told me that they had been doing this for almost 2-decades.  Additionally, we did ask them to help some out-of-scope manual labor (move a hot tub about 20') and they were more than willing to assist, which again simply points to the nature of these guys and the firm they work for.  For our project, Columbia Roofing was absolutely top-shelf and as such they have my endorsement and recommendation.  They did an awesome job for us!

I selected 3 A+ (Better Business Bureau) local roofing companies for estimates. Columbia was the…read moremost responsive with even the lower estimate as there was more work to be done in addition to just replacing the roof. They were friendly, answered all my questions before and during the job, and did an excellent job on all items. The work took less than 3 days. The Owen Corning shingles were quality items with a 30-year warranty. Thanks to Daniel Adame and all the members of the crew. The other companies finally listened to what I wanted done, but never corrected their estimates to reflect them like Columbia.

I haven't had a good time with alpine roofing so far. No call/no show to their appointment made…read moreover 24 hours in advance. When I called to ask what the timeline might be they said somebody would call me back. Next day nobody called me back, so I called them and was once again was told somebody would call me back. I am currently still waiting for that phone call so I may update this review depending on how it goes. For a company that boasts all of their 5 star reviews on their website it sure hasn't seemed like a 5 star experience for me so far. Update: this is intended for alpine roofing and I have the right page. After talking with Christine and Ben (who was a little accusatory) it sounds like their call center made am error and never scheduled anything despite saying they would. I am supposed to have somebody come out at 5pm today (still haven't gotten an email confirmation yet) and will update further . Final update 3/19/2026 my appointment was confirmed with Oscar, one of the techs. Got a call from the operations manager who said that due to my frustrations at the company it would be best for them to cancel and not perform the work. Hopefully they get their AI scheduling system figured out to avoid wasted time in the future. I'll keep monitoring this review to ensure it stays up for others to see.

First-class business which is no wonder why they have such great reviews. All the people we dealt with were friendly and professional. We are very pleased with the results and recommend highly. We felt the price was fair as well.
