Our new wall oven was delivered by the Orange Big Box hardware/lumber store. "Sorry, we don't install wall ovens, didn't they tell you that?" So we had a brand new wall oven and began a frantic search to find a installer. Most appliance repair services don't install wall ovens, it takes a crew of 2. The appliance repair services that do installs only install on products they sell. Arrgh. After many calls I found Miller Electric. They said sure they do that. This was late Friday afternoon. We talked Monday morning. By Monday afternoon my wall oven was installed. Fast Response, good communication, great workers. I highly recommended. read more

Hired Mike and his team to wire up a new shop. This included a 100 AMP panel with overhead lighting, exterior lighting and outlets. This was about as easy and straight forward as it gets. They did everything like we had discussed on the initial walk down. The price was as quoted and completed on time. L&I inspection took a couple days to schedule due to Thanksgiving but all the worked passed and the install was signed off by the inspector. If I could give a rating of zero or negative stars, I would. All I can say is STAY AWAY from Miller Electric. This contractor double charged me for work that was on my contract with them. After I discussed it with them they agreed to recalculate my bill. They reduced it by a minuscule amount. When I paid in full, but attempted to discuss it further the owner became belligerent, angry, rude, and would not complete corrections required by L & I. Even the L & I inspector was speechless. I will likely file a suit against their bond for this. Mr. Miller is known as a hothead throughout the electric business in the Tri-Cities. His actions slowed down my project by more than a month, cost me thousands of dollars, and tons of stress!!! All I can say is keep looking, and read Yelp reviews on any contractor you're considering hiring. There are several excellent ones in town, so keep looking! UPDATE - Read the response from the owner below and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Do you sense aggression? Lack of ownership? An "it's not my fault" attitude? And yes , when charging over $11,000 for a job, $500 is a drop in the bucket. I highly recommend Bock Electric. He's cleaning up this mess as we speak. I've had a basement electrical problem for months - couldn't get it fixed. Most (but not all) of the outlets and most (but not all!) of the lights didn't work. Called a friend for references and he suggested Mike Miller. He came when he said he would and got right to work, testing, tracing lines, etc. I followed him around hoping to learn something and he was patient and very nice. Best part - he fixed everything! Even a couple outside GFCIs started working. He cleaned up and left. Then I discovered the garage door wouldn't open. I called him and he turned around and came back! Replaced the outlet and it worked. Best part - he was very reasonable. I will definitely call him next time I have electrical needs. read more

I recently moved back to the Tricity, WA area. I have not had the need for any electrical work up to this point, and have no previous contact or reference other than Yelp. I contacted the Miller Electrical Services, LLC yesterday afternoon, and even w/short notice and a busy schedule, they were able to fit me in to their work day. The gentleman who arrived was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and economical. The problem was literally solved and work completed in 10 minutes. [power off to several rooms outlets; diagnosed as a faulty outlet in one room, replaced]. He was even able to provide advice and tips for future reference in order to save further issues in our home. I would HIGHLY recommend those living in the western area of the Tricities [W Richland, Richland, Benton City, etc] give this business a shout first and allow yourself to have the opportunity to have the same excellent CS and service that we received. We have had the privilege of Miller Electric coming out to our home on three different occasions. Each time they were wonderful! Very professional & polite. They gave us an estimate and stayed to that figure twice. As for the third time, our problem was small, and he did not charge us. We went to change out the Mirrored Wood Medicine Cabinet with Light turn off the Electric and when we went to turn it back on it wouldn't turn on. We had no electricity and I thought omg the freezers. So I called Millers Electric and he was here half hour later and he fixed it and then he helped with installing the Mirror wood medicine cabinet. He was fast and strong he held it up and installed it with his own two hands and my 3 friends couldn't do what he did. I feel so blessed to have such a company there for me at anytime. Very disappointing, Mike Miller came out and emailed an estimate, but when I called, emailed, and texted about the estimate and the desire to add some additional work scope, he did not return a single text message, email, or voicemail after "several" attempts to contact him. Needless to say, I'm off looking for a more responsive electrician! read more

I called to get an estimate for a small job at my home. Don't know how the service is because I left a message and after 3 days never got a call back. I prefer to use local people for my service needs. So even with a bad review was willing to give them a chance. I guess they don't need the business, so my money will go to another local business that returns calls. read more

Contractor was courteous on the initial consult and provided a bid. After starting and waiting for him to fit us back in for finish electrical work the contractor billed us for "work in progress." The bill was considerably higher for what he had completed compared to the initial project bid. The bill indicated this was due to adding two can lights and one electrical outlet. He would not return our calls or texts. After about a week of no responses I realized he was not going to come back. I called Labor and Industry and was told that Miller Electric is responsible to complete the work for the permit that was open on our project. We were forced to hire another electrician to finish the job with a new permit. Because this contractor has not returned calls or texts indicating why he left our job, billed us for add ons that aren't proportionate to bid pricing, charged us for a full electrical permit, and having to hire a new electrician/permit I can't recommend this contractor. I have had many great contractors with past home building projects and this is truly my first bad experience! read more

The worst service ever, Mike only looks for big and expensive jobs, never returns phone calls once he realizes that the job is below what he wants to get paid. Try to call him after he..........................., he will never picks up the phone. I will never ever do business with Miller Electric. There are other honest and decent electricians out there. read more
