Our experience here with Rick was exceptional. A friend had highly recommended Energy Source and…read morewe are so glad they did. From the first visit, to assess our fireplace needs, to the actual installation, they were down-to-earth, fairly priced, not sales-pitchy, no fancy showroom, arrived when they said they would come and did the job WELL and with a great attitude. We had a pellet stove installed this past week by Rick and team (including his son Dane) and they arrived on time, were very pleasant, were always considerate of walking on carpet with shoes, placed protective covers on all our carpet by the fireplace, and hard-working. They worked the entire day and then returned to finish up the job the next day - the afternoon before Thanksgiving. They stayed many extra hours to ensure everything was running correctly and stayed after installation to answer questions as if they had all the time in the world. They never rushed and they made sure the job was done right. If I could give ten Yelp stars here I would!

After researching pool companies we decided to hire energy Source in Kennewick we felt it was the…read morebest choice. While the communication, workmanship and quality of service started out good Unfortunately as the project progressed the quality of service, communications and workmanship deteriorated. They poured concrete decking around the pool plus another large concrete patio.  Many inconsistencies in the broom finish makes for substandard work. Very rough and pitted areas around one end edge of the pool and sproratic other areas as well.  When voicing our concerns the owner's response was that is the way its suppose to be around the edges.  Well if that's the case why isn't it consistent around the edges of the entire pool?  He said in a year those rough areas will wear down..if its suppose to be like that why would it be ok that they wear down? In addition the sealant was sprayed uneven, heavy in some places, light in other places and in some areas it seems as though there is no sealant at all. Additionally there are Several areas where the sealant ran and was oversprayed. It looks horrible as if something was spilled all over the concrete. Once again when ask about this and said in my opinion it was sloppy work...the owner became very defensive. I asked him directly 2 times if he thought it looked good and he would not give me a straight answer only to give lame excuses. He said it will wear down and you won't even notice it.  He said they will come out and strip all the sealant off if we don't like the way it looks and it won't have a sealant. Thats his way of resolving the issue pretty sad in my opinion.  Instead of admitting that it was applied poorly he's just going to strip it.  When Our liner was installed on 5/3/18 and the pool was completely filled on 5/4/18.  They informed us that something was wrong with the electrically and they would contact the electrical company.  Since it was Friday we were out of luck to have the issue solved over the weekend.  A call to Energy Source asking the owner Rick to call us back with no response.  So on Monday afternoon at 3:30 we called the electrically company and I spoke with the owner...surprise surprise he said he hadn't heard anything regarding an electrical issue and wasn't even aware our pool was complete.  I was shocked...he said he would have someone come out immediately which he did.  To our knowledge they fixed the issue.  At around 4:30pm we removed the cover and found the pump was not working nor was the light. A call back to the electrican and they said call Energy Source as it was working when they left needless to say by this time its 5 pm and each one was saying call the other.  Communication breakdown.   5/8/18 the owner of Energy Source came out the pump is back working so we will see.  We do have concerns with some areas of the liner but will be able to further investigate those once we get into the pool.  It seems there are some air pockets between the liner and the floorimg and walls...another concern was they installed the liner over some sand and other particles on the floor.  When ask about it as they were installing the liner they said it was nothing to be concerned about although we still have concerns...not going to be very happy if we feel bumps on the flooring of our pool. It seems that once this company received the $$$ they dropped the ball.  When I stated that to the owner he said you still own money...yes you are correct appox 3K is the balance...that's not much compared to the almost 50K we already paid them.  I understand mistakes are made although stepping up to the plate, admitting and correcting them without making excuses is the right  and professional thing to do. With the lack of accountability for some poor workmanship I am sad to say I would not recommend Energy Source.

I can't wait. The staff were also very helpful, kind & knowledgeable. Specifically I worked with a brunette lady the first few times I visited who taught me about evergreens and ground cover and today I worked with a blonde lady who helped me pick lavender and a peach tree. My garden is looking great and I even got a compliment on it the other day. I really think it's thanks to the quality of the plants they have here, as well as the help I received, because I do not really have much of a green thumb! I will say I did not take the advice of keeping my peppers indoors when I purchased them in a colder month, but they are still budding/ flowering even though the leaves are not in their best shape, but that's my own fault for being impatient.

My first visit to the nursery was fantastic, thanks to a gentleman named Max who educated me about juniper trees. This past Monday, my boys and I returned in the morning to look for edging material and enjoy the flowers. However, we had an unusual encounter with a gentleman who approached us. When I joked about causing a ruckus and suggested he put my boys to work, he responded in a stern tone, saying they didn't need any help. It felt quite strange. When my son heard a horse and asked about it, the gentleman responded in Spanish, a language neither of us speaks. This left me feeling quite taken aback. Initially, I thought it might have been a misunderstanding. However, when I shared my experience with a coworker, she mentioned that Woods Nursery has a tone that can make visitors feel unwelcomed, which aligned with my experience. It's disheartening because Woods Nursery is such a beautiful place, and one unpleasant interaction can impact the overall experience. I believe the gentleman might be unaware of how his approach comes across, and I hope this feedback is helpful in making the nursery a more welcoming place for everyone. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying the same materials needed for a quarter of the price cheaper.
