Even though I think our water quality is great, I signed up for an analysis and a free water filter. After the show, I received multiple calls to schedule this, and finally decided to answer the call. Here are the two things that got my spidey senses tingling. First of all, nearly every reference to confirming the appointment included stating that 'my spouse/partner' was to be available as well. That immediately gets me to thinking this is going to be a high-pressured sales call, something I don't care for. In fact, that's what reviews confirmed for me - once they got into the house, it could be hours before they finally got the message. Lastly, once everything was confirmed for the appointment, he then said he was going to have me chat with one of his managers. When she came on and verified the info, including the spouse/partner thing, I could feel the regret starting. When I hung up, I did my review online. Service seems to be rated very highly, which is great. What I didn't want or need was a relentless, high-pressured push for something that may be marginally helpful but probably not all that necessary in Overland Park.

This contractor lied to us about when they would come out to fix the water heater. They lied to us about ordering parts. They lied to us about receiving the parts. They lied to us about when they would return our phone calls. Turns out they never ordered the part they needed despite telling us on 5 different occasions that the part was ordered (and twice that they received it). Thankfully we never have to talk with the rude woman who answers their phones again. I hope the home warranty company is successful in getting its money back from these goofs. Do not hire this company if you want honest service that will be completed at any point in time.

Everything from start to finish was done quickly and with true professionalism. Crystal (spelling?), whom I dealt with from their office, was always very friendly and prompt. Tom and his assistant, the plumbers who came out to do the work were also extremely friendly, professional and prompt. Within a day and a half after my first call from Crystal we were back in business with a new water heater! It only took that long because the heater needed to be replaced, not fixed, and also dealing with the home warranty company. Getting hot water did take a little longer than I would have liked, but that was not their fault in the least. I just had the misfortune of having my water heater crap out on New Years Eve. Nothing could have been done then, nor on New Years day, especially when dealing with a home warranty claim. But, once the ball was in Crystal's and Tom's hands it went very quickly and smooth....I am now soaking in the warmth from water provided by my new heater for 2017, and long into the future! We had the company out to our house 4 different times for the same issue. They'll get you set up with the right stuff to pump it good. They've got pumps that can handle everything from thousands of gallons to just a little drop at a time. They not only do agricultural pumps, but stuff for industrial uses. Whether you need to pump out a lake or a well, they'll make it so you pump it good. Water is a valuable resource, and Grundfos makes it so that water can go places that it normally doesn't. Their pumps bring water to otherwise dry places! It can transform a place! Their operations here in Olathe are mainly business end stuff, but if you wanna drop by and chat pumps, they'll get you set up.

We got pushed into an $2000 under sink water filtration system. We have been making payments for 2 years and still owe the same amount as the first initial quote.. and here's the kicker THEY PUT A LEIN ON OUR HOUSE. For a $2000 water filter. This place is predatory and I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about how we got scammed.

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more A few days ago we went to a quick trip on 159th (to fill air up in my cars tires.) We were pulling out of the QT and noticed a work van right on our bumper with no lights on, let me remind you it's 7pm (dark outside). He finally turns on his lights and TAILGATES me all the way out to 159th and cuts me off WHILE brake checking me at the light to merge on 69 highway to go northbound. Of course I honked my horn and got pictures + dash cam footage, and QT's footage to make sure I did nothing wrong. This worker in the WORK vehicle proceeds to go 100+ MPH on 69 highway and cut me off to brake check me some more, BUT once my passenger recorded the incidence on their phone and caught his face... he pleaded he did nothing wrong and tried to pull us over. Going over the QT footage, we were leaving the air pump WHILE he was getting gas a he sped 15-20MPH in the parking lot and pulled up right behind us. IVE CALLED DOUG (the owner) multiple times to asses the problem and haven't heard back. What a horrible business ethic and employee. Do better. Deserves ZERO stars. Own up to your problems and reckless driving employees.

Just before I starting writing this review, I looked at the OTHER Yelp reviews - something I had…read morenot done prior to contacting them to request service - and found my experience to be much more positive than some of the previous reviewers' experiences. Most the negative reviews were from from more than a year ago and I don't know if anything changed from a leadership perspective at the company, or if I simply stumbled into a situation that turned out very fortunately for me; but I was quite pleased. I called for same-day repair service for a thermostat issue and the initial contact was pleasant and helpful and they arranged for a technician to visit that same afternoon, and it was after noon (yes I said it again but this time I mean it as a time of day) when I called. So that was impressive that they accommodated the request. We had no way to control the heating and cooling if this issue hadn't been resolved, but it was indeed resolved, and to our satisfaction. Our technician, Zach, was able to diagnose the issue and as he said when he left, he wasn't about to leave without fixing the problem. That's an attitude I appreciate - it's dedication. It took him a bit to figure it out but once he did, it was fixed in a very reasonable period of time. I found the cost reasonable, and they didn't tack on a distance charge like some repair companies do. So all I had was quick response, pleasant interaction scheduling the appointment, same day service in half a day, and problem fixed with a cost I could live with. I would hire them again.

Hired to change filters and they sent a guy out who didn't have filters but said we needed to pay…read more$100 or he would be in trouble. Had to call main parent company to resolve. Rescheduled so he could bring back filters. Had to sign a waiver that they are not liable if the system leaks after he changes filters. Then he charged $320 which included the $100 we didn't pay for his initial trip charge when he didn't do anything because he didn't have filters. Over all, bad experience. We wouldn't use them again and we should have read all the bad reviews about high pressure sales and poor service plus high costs before we had this bad experience.

Why is this industry so full of this kind of marketing? Just like vinyl siding or window replacement or gutters these guys are all just annoying. They're going to steal from you if they're going to do what they did to me to you don't think about working with this company!
