Had to replace a leaking cast iron pipe in our basement that has cracked and had begun leaking and of all 3 bids we got Andy's was the best and had the best bang for your buck value along with the warranty on their work and labor it was easy to go with when seeing how much they were willing to back up their work. Will aka Billiam was the one who gave us our bid and also came out to do the work and I cannot stress enough how nice and professional he was. He explained the work thoroughly and in a way that was easy for us to get, he made sure to get a hold of me and explain if something had arisen and was able to walk my wife and I through what needed to change from our initial estimate and and he cleaned up after himself as well. He felt like a guy I'd want to hang out with outside of an instance like this and was very personable. He was quick and prompt at handling the work we initially called him out for. We have a lot going on in our lives and no one wants an unexpected cost like this to hinder their plans like this one almost did, not only was Andy's Pipe Dream and their technician Will well priced and willing to back up their work, the were also excellent to interact with and it helped make the process of spending this much money on a necessary expense like this with them a no brainer and eased our concerns. In the future we will be using them again for any issues we might need fixed. read more

Inexperienced people with poorly stocked trucks. Lots of rework on my job to make it comply with code. Very expensive compared to competitors, they charge to do it wrong then charge to correct it! read more

Bottom line up front: It is, quite literally, never going to be a cheap outing to have a plumber make repairs. However, the ease of booking, quality of communication, and effectiveness of Andy's Pipe Dream was all good in my book. I do find the prices plumbers (and I mean all plumbers here) set to be about 20% too high, especially after I've tackled some of the projects and they just don't line up to the quotes, so I'll get that out of the way. However, they were there to provide a free estimate which is rare in the plumbing world, and has me leaning towards making them my go-to in the future. I was about to be traveling and didn't have the bandwidth to replace the garbage disposal. Add in some added complications with replacing ours, mainly electrical, and that's when I bow out and defer to the experts. This company was wonderful with ease of booking, communication, and the tech himself. He walked me through everything, gave me solid options (lower end replacement, mid-range, and upper), and got the work done quickly. The warranty on the garbage disposal is an impressive eight years which means we can call them at any point, for any issue, and they'll fix or replace which is nice. They were also very available, getting to us quick and it just seems like a well-run operation. Props to the Andy's team for being set up so well, but I hope I don't have to call them anytime soon! read more

Awesome service. Came out quickly, figured out what we needed and actually changed the quote to less when he realized there was another option. We will continue to use them! read more

Had a couple of clogged sinks- Kitchen and bathroom. Set up an appointment with Andy's via the Yelp app, and sure enough, within in the designated time frame the following business day, they showed up, handled the clogs, and were on their way. The techs were personable and knowledgeable and most importantly, considerate of time. They cleaned up afterwards and we didn't have any messes to handle after they left. Definitely recommended. read more

This morning I had a pipe burst and it caused flooding in my kitchen and basement. After I shut off the water to my house, the next thing I did was call Andy's Pipe Dream figuring I wouldn't be able to get anyone out soon. I was wrong, they scheduled for 4-6pm and then a couple of hours later, I received another call if they could come sooner. I happily agreed. When they arrived, it was determined what went wrong and where and how to resolve. I received a quote and had them start the work. It was fixed promptly and then the final bill was less. I like good surprises like that. This is then second time I've used them and they are my goto for plumbing needs from now on. read more

Incredibly responsive, helpful and timely. Cassie was a great listener, made sure to be thoughtful and make sense in what I was describing and answered every question along the way. Problems solved and life moves on. Thanks for making it a little easier. read more

This was our first time using Andy's Pipe Dream, but won't be the last! We had a low water pressure problem. Don Besette was professional, thorough, and fair. He was also punctual and friendly. Highly recommend his services! read more

Don B. arrived within an hour of when I had called to schedule an appointment--super fast! He helped me with my water heater without trying to hard-sell a new water heater. Don was friendly, courteous, professional, and honest. I highly recommend both him and Andy's Pipe Dream Plumbing--they're both local! read more

Colton was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. He fixed our shower faucet so it finally can be used. We will certainly ask for him when we schedule our next repairs! read more

Mike Strutton was my technician and he was fantastic. Excellent communicator, punctual, respectful, skilled and thorough from beginning to end, even double checking work before concluding. I appreciate the email and text notifications from Andy's Pipe Dream. I knew who was coming (with photos) and when. Their fees are very reasonable. They're my first call for all my plumbing needs. read more

Andy's came out to clear my main drain. They could not reach the problem so they added 15 feet to the cable and they cleared the drain. They charged me $171 for the additional 15 feet of cable! They asked if I wanted view the drain with their camera and I asked if that was extra and they said it would be an additional $200. My bill was $800 without the camera charge. I called the office and asked to talk to Andy but they explained that he was out of the office but he would return my call in the morning. Surprise, he never called me back. Total rip off! read more

Outside faucet / pipe froze and broke during the winter and needed to be replaced; also, kitchen sink was clogged and even commercial grade Drano wouldn't take care of it when I tried that. It went extremely well. Stuart had to go through the outside wall to the wall in our home theater to avoid damaging the stucco. The targeted area on the inside happened to be behind our 9 ft wide home theater screen, but it went like clockwork once he measured the outside and inside walls. It would have been a disaster if I had even thought about "trying" to do it myself. I would have missed the mark by a mile and wouldn't even have a clue what to do. Andy's Pipe Dream saved the day for us. read more

I have nothing but praise for this company; they know how to do it right. When you call in, you speak to someone who is friendly and helpful; you feel like they really want to help. When the plumber/technician came out, fortunately it was the same young man who had been out previously to give me some estimates on a variety of work that I was considering having done. I felt confident that he would be up to handling the challenges of working on 60 year old pipes. Merrik was on time (actually the earlier end of the 2 hour window), and pleasant despite the rain. He was professional, thorough, and got the job done (augering out a clog in a bathroom sink). I asked a lot of questions, and he answered them. I was so impressed with his great customer service (sometimes rare in someone his age). Sadly, this is the first positive plumbing experience that I have had. I would highly recommend Andy's Pipe Dream read more

I called Andy's Pipe Dream early on 12/2/16, they were able to make it out the same day, Impressive. Once the technician got to my home to troubleshoot a leak going to my basement ceiling he said he wasn't sure. Would remove my toilet for $274 or would cut a hole in my wall for $255. These charges were just to TRY and diagnose a cause. I ended up paying the $49 trip charge and sent the technician on his way. Rip Off! Another plumber (Citadel Piping) came out on Saturday, 12/3/16 and charged me $105, he diagnosed the problem, cut out a small hole in my wall and repaired the copper pipe leak. read more

Today I was having some new flooring put in and discovered that the shutoff valve on one of my toilets was not working. I turned off the main and hoped that I could find a plumber who would be available. I searched and called and the owner answered and sensed my urgency and sent Chad. He quickly assessed the need. We reviewed the other two toilets involved and decided to replace another valve. He then did his work thoroughly and quickly. I greatly appreciated them making time for me and for doing their work so well. read more

The service and quality is very good. However if you are cost conscious or have a basic job to do, be aware that his prices are outrageous. I had his team out to replace a log lighter bar in my fireplace. Cost was $567 for 3 hours labor. I asked them to break out labor and material and I got a runaround. Their cost to replace a garbage disposal, labor only, is around $225 for a 1 hour job. Contact a handyman next time. read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the responsiveness and the service. I was looking for a local smaller company rather than the big guys who charge way too much. I called on a Friday morning, and Andy answered the phone himself. I didn't consider my plumbing problem to be an emergency, but Colton was at my house within an hour. I had a drain line leak in my basement where some makeshift DIY plumbing work was done by the previous owner some 25 years ago. Colton investigated and solved the problem, clearing out the drain line under the concrete floor, and fixed one of the problems created by the previous owner. He kept me advised of the costs every step of the way. And the cost was very reasonable! I would recommend this company without hesitation. read more

This company had fantastic reviews so I gave them a call only to find out the quote given to me was outrageous. Just some back story, I needed my main line snaked out because it was backing up my basement toilet. Andy was kind of beating around the bush when I asked him for the typical cost of the service for my circumstances, he said, "it depends on the scenario and some other factors. So I told him to give me the best case scenario quote (I.e the cheapest). He told me $275. I called three other places right after and they quoted me right off the bat $99, no questions asked. Moral of the story call around, or go to Home Depot and rent a commercial snake for $50 and do it yourself. read more

This was the second time we've used Andy's Pipe Dream recently. This time we had Stu come out to replace a failed shutoff valve for the dishwasher. I had thought about doing it myself, but I was very glad we had Stu on the case when things snowballed a bit and we needed other work done as well. As in our earlier service, Stu was very good -- quality work, and very informative as to what he found, and what our options were. Top notch service! read more

We used Andy's to extend a gas line for a gas range before a kitchen remodel. Stu was our technician. He was on time, and he was extremely pleasant and efficient! We're very happy that we called Andy's, and will definitely call them again when we need plumbing services. read more

Andy's was great to work with. I called them mid morning and they were able to come out that afternoon. Chad the technician was on time and was very pleasant to work with. He repaired our kitchen sink, installed two faucets and fixed a leak we had in our basement. We were pleased with his work and would use Andy's again. read more

I have used Andy's Pipe Dream five or six times now. They are always able to get Chad out within a day or two, and he does great work. Most recently I had him out to adjust my bathtub spout which was pulling away from the tile. I have also had him repair my hot water heater, replace a bathtub trap, remove old gas pipe, and more. No matter the task Chad takes care of it. read more

It is refreshing to have a company that strives for great service! As with a lot of plumbing issues, time was of the essence. I called and talked with a very pleasant lady, and told her what my issue was. She said someone would call me back shortly. Shortly, was within 2 minutes!! Chad was great. He had someone finishing a job and could get someone to my Moms house within 30- 45 minutes. Pat came within 30 minutes. He was very professional and got the job done perfectly. They even gave my Mom a senior citizen discount! I thought pipe dreams were unattainable...Andy's was very attainable! read more

Get a second estimate! Andy's started as a local business and has now adopted the practice of trying to tack on extra work and parts you don't need in order to pad the bill, often by exaggerated stories about supposed past customers with catastrophic damage to their homes; an obvious ploy to frighten homeowners. Don't believe them! Sadly, they are especially prone to trying this with women, as my wife (a mechanical engineer) discovered with an Andy's technician named Chad who tried to mansplain tubing materials and claimed she wouldn't notice if "micro leaks" developed in a water line until our hardwood floors started to warp. He apparently claimed to the business owner that she did not understand a form of plastic tubing, when in fact the line in question was braided stainless steel. (The owner did not try to call us, but he may be confusing us with another customer). When I came in the room he changed his tune. I would not trust them. Very disappointed. read more

Andy's came on a recommendation and after other reviews, I decided to hire them for some gas plumbing issues I needed fixed. Chad came on a Friday afternoon to do an estimate and was back first thing Monday morning, on time, ready to go. He actually would have done it Friday evening had I had time. I originally just wanted an external gas quick-connect done for my backyard BBQ but had him quote and repair my fireplace gas line that was out of code and damaged. He was done in a few hours, the work was well done, and he cleaned up afterwards. The estimating was easy and he didn't try to sell what I didn't need. All quotes and receipts were emailed immediately. I'm the type that will choose local, smaller shops for this type of work and their pricing, customer service and overall process reinforced my opinion. read more

Andy's Pipe Dream did a great job. They responded extremely quickly service technician at our home within 3 hours of our call. Chad was our plumber, he was extremely punctual, and went above and beyond what I expected. Chad even helped us solve a second low water pressure issue that wasn't even part of the scope of work. They did a great job, were very reasonably priced, and were clean and respectful of our home. I would gladly use them again in the future. read more

Had a new gas stove and fridge delivered on Saturday and neither one was able to be hooked up, due to issues with gas pipe and water valve to fridge. Found Andy's and was able to schedule an appointment online for first thing Monday morning. Chad showed up on time Monday morning, was very professional and quickly explained the issue. He did not have parts with him, but was able to go and quickly grab them, come back and has our new fridge and stove working. I would highly recommend Andy's for any plumbing issues! read more

We have used Andy's Pipe Dream for several issues and all have been resolved quickly and professionally. Had new hot water heater installed, kitchen sink drain unclogged, roof vent pipe leak repaired, shower drain fixed and toilet reset after previous plumber did not install properly. Will continue to use and recommend Andy's Pipe Dream! read more

Andy's Pipe Dream and Chad, in particular, exceeded every expectation (and I generally have very high expectations!). Arrived just a few hours after I called and right on time. Needed to fix a leak under the kitchen sink and I was anticipating some type of expensive problem. Chad immediately found that the faucet gasket just needed to be tightened. They stayed a few extra minutes to confirm that this was the only problem and that the problem was totally solved. Total time 30-40 minutes to diagnose, fix and confirm. And to wrap up the work on a high point, they only charged the $49 service fee. We will definitely use Andy's in the future. read more

Found Andy's by calling the number on the truck. I called after hours and spoke with an answering service. I received a return call immediately to make the appointment. They quickly and proficiently located the problem provided me with information as to what they found and how they fixed it. Will use Andy's again for the future. Efficient, quality work and prices right. read more

Extremely quick response to my issue. Chad was wonderful and in no time at all I had a new toilet!

I've used Andy's Pipe Dream a few times. Whether it's Andy or it's one of his guys, the work has always been solid and fees have been fair. I strongly recommend giving them a call if you need the help. read more

Referred to Andy's by a neighbor of mine who had been thrilled with their service. I received a call back within 5 minutes of my inquiry, and someone was available to come out the next day. I was made aware of the trip charge, and was also informed that if any additional diagnostic work would need to be done, they would give me an estimate before that happened. The diagnostic fee was applied to any work that would be done, which we greatly appreciate! Chad was extremely knowledgeable, considerate, and did a tremendous job explaining everything to us. Chad has several decades of experience, and it clearly showed while he was here. We highly recommend Andy's Pipe Dream. Will definitely use them again if the need arises. read more

Great plumbing service! Can't say enough. Andy was very responsive in email and text throughout the process, and also very flexible since we had other jobs going on that necessitated changing our appointment times. Chad, the plumber who came out, was very knowledgeable and patient when addressing our questions. He called ahead and showed up on time and worked diligently while on site. He exuded confidence and honesty in proposing solutions to our issues of water pressure and under sink reconfiguration of pipes. I will definitely make this business my go-to for all plumbing needs. You should too! read more
