Consumers beware of the unethical and unprofessional services and practices of Serv Pro - with…read moreleadership covering the Midwest region. Our family member utilized services for a flooding issue at his residence. While items were stored in a Serv Pro facility to remodel the basement from flooding, their facility caught fire damaging the contents/furniture of the home. Items were returned with smoke damage and asked to be removed. To date (over a year later), Serv Pro has yet to provide an inventory list of the smoke damaged items they had taken out of the home, how insurance costs were determined in light of not having an inventory list and multiple unanswered questions. Not to mention leadership lacks professionalism and runs a business with unethical business practices. After escalations to Serv Pro leadership, they also failed to resolve and engage. Let this be your warning to take your business elsewhere. Have never experienced a company take advantage of the consumer in their time of hardship. Shame on you Serv Pro... 1/31/24 Update...thank you Dan Thorman for the response. When we attempted to resolve the issue with you directly, you "owned" our case under Thorman Enterprises despite it being bought out. Our family did escalate to the new leadership to include Brooke Fritchen (General Manager) and Matt Marchese . We were told Thorman Enterprises owned the claims. So which is it?? Regardless Thomean Enterprises, Brooke Fritchen, Matt Marchese, Serv Pro failed to resolve. Thank you for now clarifying on this review that you don't own the company...and that your new leadership named above also failed to resolve.

I was encouraged to wait until the heater stopped working altogether so that it could be properly diagnosed by the technician - the first time. It finally stopped working on 12/26, they had a technician here within two hours. I received a quick tutorial on the issue and the work that was performed. The total charge was under $100. I didn't write this review because they were quick to respond, extremely friendly, thorough in explaining the issue and repair, or even because the bill was less than $100, I wrote this because they have earned my trust. Before doing work Teddy came out to finalize where exactly they would have to enter wall to get to fireplace. While there he got up on the roof and pushed and turned on flue and snapped it back in place! Total cost $300. Far cry from $12k. Both Teddy and Brook are incredibly professional and personal. Was pleasure to work with both of them and I would highly recommend Complete Home Concepts that is looking for Fireplace solutions and options.

The crew demoing my floor and beginning the cleanup process wore their shoe covers outside and tracked mud all through my house, adding another clean up to my list of things while dealing with a flooded basement. However, the rest of my experience with Power Dey has been very frustrating and leaves a lot to be desired. Communication with them has been poor, with no notice before they say they are in the neighborhood and on the way to my house. My "Project Manager" David was unaware of any steps beyond collecting my money, he was unaware any work had been done, what step they were on, or the entire process. Any question I asked him, he would respond by saying he was unsure what their process is, leaving me to question if he is truly a project manager for this company. I've asked both David, and the main phone line to have the reconstruction team call me for 2 weeks now just to get a quote so I can return my basement back to normal. I have not received a call from anyone or received a quote.
