These guys are just great! I had my furnace go out Christmas morning. And with a 18 month old and a baby on the way my wife and I needed some heat. It was 5F that morning. After a few bad contractors I got Sharp-Long from a co-worker. They came out with a better price with WAY better equipment. With exactly the spec equipment I wanted! They came out the next day with exactly the size, spec, and equipment that I wanted and installed my new furnace, AC and hot water heater. Their price was better then 3 other guys and with better equipment. They went above and beyond on the install. House was spotless when they got done. Their installation was above neat and professional. They actually moved my hot water heater as my request to get it out of the middle of my storage room. They ran the new water lines and gas lines up and out of the way. I would highly recommend them! We called to schedule an appointment, and were surprised that a person answered the phone (within 4 rings). The scheduling was within a week, at our request). The day of the appointment, we received a precall 20 minutes before his arrival. Travis, at our door presented himself in a professional manner. He respected our home by first putting on his boot covers. He kept us informed of his progress, and worked efficiently. We were impressed enough that we purchased their maintenance plan. In the future, we would much rather have a Sharp Long technician, than other HVAC company representatives in our past. Travis didn't push us at all about the age or dirty condition our furnace room or furnace. (It had been neglected for quite awhile). Sharp-Long has been servicing our heating and cooling systems (and replaced when necessary) for probably 20 years or more. We also carry a system maintenance contract with them, so they check our Furnace and A/C before the start of the seasons. They have always sent knowledgeable, polite servicemen. They call ahead to let us know they're coming & arrive on time, A few years ago when we needed to replace our Furnace and AC, we felt like they thoroughly explained our options and made sound recommendations for our home. Sharp Long installed a new Amana furnace in my home on 01/24/2018. They did a fantastic job. The house is warm again! Sharp Long has also in the past installed a hot water heater, air conditioner and coil in my home. I've never had any trouble from their installations. They work the first time. Their installers are very nice and don't leave a mess. They put down protective covering on the places they walk on. I would give the installers a 10 plus if there was a place to do that. read more
