I called after the first cold of the season proved our heater was not functioning the way that it should and often wasn't heating at all. Lee's Summit Heating and Cooling got me on the schedule within a couple days. Travis was very punctual and called when he was heading over. He was awesome. The issue was difficult to replicate, but once we got it, Travis went to work on diagnosing the problem. I don't know heads or tails about HVAC, but he explained the problem to me in a way that I could understand. He then went above and beyond and called the manufacturer to see if it was under warranty. While it was a relatively newer unit, I feared we were slightly over the standard 5-year-warranty. Travis checked anyway. He found that the warranty was still good for the original owner. But, the name was different on the warranty with the manufacturer. Travis dashes back in and asks for my maiden name. We're still under warranty. He also updated the information with the manufacturer for me. It's hard to know who to trust when you're dealing with equipment that you're unfamiliar with. Big decision choosing HVAC replacement. Start to finish, I've been very satisfied with the process: from bid, to install, to adjustments. So far, so good. It's a new system so one could/should expect a few hic-ups. I must say, the employees have been remarkable, willing to go the extra mile to make sure things are working correctly. From initial evaluation and follow-up (Joe Crowley) to bid (Dylan Heberling), to install (Devante Trotter and Travis Miller) to service (Justin Reed). These men are a special group. Whoever did the hiring brought their A-game. There may be some minor bumps in the road, adjustments, etc.; however, I am confident I have a management and service team that will make things right. Had a complete new furnace and AC install. There was an issue with the AC not cooling correctly. I called them several times. Each time they came out they tested and checked. They replaced a metering valve and then the whole coil. When that didn't work they replaced the whole inside unit and outside unit and the copper tubing between the two units. Now the system works splendidly and keeps our house cool in this heat. I want to say that it is integrity and customer service of a company that makes things right. American Standard is rated the best HVAC system by Consumer Reports and that's why I bought it. But, it is always the installer that makes the difference. My point isn't that I had trouble, but that LS Htg. & Cooling came back as often as I called and exchanged the whole system when fixes didn't work. They backed up their work and in the end, that's what counts. read more

From the very beginning, working with Joe (his customer service and communication was top tier) in deciding to proceed with a new furnace, AC and water heater, all the way to the end and then for our first annual maintenance check. We have dealt with the most phenomenal people and customer service. I was not going to schedule a maintenance check quite yet as our system isn't even 6 months old yet. Kathy recommended it being a good idea to make sure everything has been working appropriately. Then 2 days later Luis came out for the maintenance check. Our furnace decided to go out on 12/15/20, after some quick research for service companies in our area we settled on Lee's Summit Heating and Cooling due to their great reviews online. They were booked and had to add me to a waiting list and told me they could get me first thing on 12/16. They ended up getting us in on the 15th after all and their tech Eric came and assessed the problem. He had to order a part for us and the turnaround from contact to being fixed was just under three days. Excellent service, very fair prices and their tech Eric is amazing and a valuable asset. We ended up getting a maintenance plan with them and now have peace of mind about our heating and cooling in home and they have a customer for life. I highly recommend this company. Informed me of new regulations that will be enacted in 2030 for gas water heaters. The information will help me plan my future hot water heater replacement.
