We would travel to visit our kids in Wisconsin and never missed buying cheese both on the way and the way back home. Their Baby Colby is to die for, my wife and I can't get enough. Their cheese curds are amazing and every other specialty type of cheese is equally outstanding. Their prices are half of what you would pay anywhere else in Wisconsin. The quality has never changed in the over the 20 years we've been traveling through. We now live in Arizona and we gladly pay the shipping to have it delivered to us here. They do a great job !!! Freezer packs in a Styrofoam container. The cheese arrives ice cold. I can't say enough about this wonderful little outstanding cheese shop the best you will ever find. The squeak is like the bouquet of a fine wine....the sign of excellence....according to Wisconsin standards. They have more varieties of cheese than I can count along with fresh butter, Braunschweiger, Summer Sausage and a small ice cream store and more. Around Christmas expect long lines, customers purchase by the box load and gift fresh cheeses and sausages. A stop to the "Cheese Factory" isn't complete with a visit to the ice cream shop and enjoy a scoop or two in a cone or dish.

We stopped in and were lucky enough to arrive while they were actually making curds. It was fun watching part of the process through the observation windows. The retail area isn't very large, but they pack in a surprising amount of merchandise. It didn't take many customers before the space started to feel crowded, making it a little difficult to browse some of the products. Of course, we couldn't leave without a bag of fresh cheese curds.
