Marty was willing to at least listen to the noise and tell me if I could keep driving or my car was about to explode. It took him about 30 seconds to diagnose the problem and I quickly had an estimate for the complete fix and a cheaper option that would at least get me home. Went with the real fix because it was reasonable and it came with a warranty. He stayed late and did some extra testing just to make sure he was sending us off safely and there wasnt a problem with the new part. And... I had a few calls for work I needed to make too.. and they set me up with a space to get it done so I didnt lose any time. Couldn't have had better luck than to break down near this spot!

This business inconvenienced me, a one hundred percent disabled, US Army Delta Force combat veteran with no apparent concern whatsoever. In addition, the older female receptionist claims to be "very important" in the community. If I treated any member of the owner's family in the manner that I was treated, he would be very upset. I invite the owner to resolve this with me alone, whenever he can muster the self-respect to do so. I welcome the opportunity to teach the owner, what it means to be mindful in respecting others. The sad thing is he seems to be a likable fella, just not very organized, and possibly ignorant, regarding interacting with those outside of a garage setting. The last two individuals that disrespected me in Dunn, NC, either no longer work in Dunn or only on a limited basis. 1SG(R) John Osborn SFQC 3-83 / OTC-18

I stopped on the exit to check the oil levels and hopefully add a little oil in order to get back on the road, but the engine was making a loud ticking noise. There was smoke coming from the engine bay and oil sprayed all the way up the back window of the car. That's when I decided that it was best to leave it there and have it towed to the nearest automotive shop. Thankfully, JT&AS was no more than 7 miles away from where I was stranded. Not only was I in the right place at the right time, but JT&AS is a shop that I'll begin going to regardless of the other shops that are closer to my home in Raleigh. The service was impeccable. Honest, timely and thorough are only a few ways to describe JT&AS. If you're ever in the area, or better yet, just make the drive to go to JT&AS because you won't be disappointed.
