I paid half of his fee and the cost for materials before he started work per his contract. Two weeks later, my windows are still not repaired and there are still boards up where my windows used to be. He still has my window frames. He has made multiple excuses for not completing the work, such as his mother being sick. We have been understanding of his situation and given him extra time to complete the work. However, too much time has passed and we need the work done. He is no longer responding to phones calls or text messages, and hasn't returned the window frames or any of the money. I do not trust him and would never hire him again.

This shop intentionally provided falsified invoices and failed to produce proof of the engine replacement within the agreed-upon time, which constitutes fraud. I strongly urge you to avoid doing business here, as they are deceptive and dishonest about their services. I took my 2002 Honda Civic LX for an engine replacement, and on May 31, 2024, I made a $1,500 deposit to begin the repairs, with the total cost amounting to $2,815.17. The agreement was for a 65,000-mile engine with a 90-day warranty. I picked up the car on June 14 after making the final payment, but just days later, on June 21, my check engine light came on. My car lost power and stopped completely, requiring me to return it to the shop. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of a series of breakdowns. The car had the same issue again on June 25, and they replaced a sensor. On July 5, while traveling from Fayetteville to Charlotte, NC, my car broke down again in over 100-degree weather, leaving me stranded. Though the mechanic paid for the tow, this was an extremely inconvenient and stressful experience. When the car was returned to me on July 10, it began overheating within 10-15 minutes of driving, which prompted me to request proof of purchase for the engine. I had already been suspicious due to the repeated breakdowns and lack of resolution. I formally asked for proof via text on July 10, and on July 16, the shop owner handed me a heavily redacted invoice. After holding it up to the light, I discovered the purchase date for the engine was July 12--weeks after I had originally paid for the service and picked up my vehicle. When I questioned the owner about this, he could not provide the original invoice or any proof that the engine was installed when promised. This entire experience caused me significant emotional and financial stress, as I was without a reliable car for over a month, and I had to deal with breakdowns and poor communication throughout. While the issue was eventually resolved, the fraudulent behavior and lack of professionalism are unacceptable. I cannot recommend this shop, and I urge others to avoid them. Their dishonesty and disregard for the customer caused me immense frustration, and I hope no one else has to go through the same ordeal.

Went to drop off my car and the lady that was reviewing the damage was like it would take a minimum of two weeks possibly but we'll keep you updated. Then they set me up with a rental, thankfully and I was on my way. About a few hours later, they called to inform me I need to come pick up my car by 5:30 and return the rental because they declined to fix the vehicle. As I'm very confused, I asked why and all they said was due to a previous failed repair on the fender. I informed them I have had no repairs on the car since I've purchased it in 2020 besides when they worked on it in 2023. The lady was like well someone tried to repair it at some point and it failed. Mind you all... I hit a deer. It's like that part got thrown out the window completely. Then she just kept dismissing my confusion and said come get your car and return the rental or you'll be charged for it. I went to enterprise to drop the rental off they were surprised and said they didn't receive any message about me having to bring it back. Thankfully they gave me a ride back to caliber. When I arrived they legit handed over my keys without checking for ID or anything. And didn't give me no paperwork or estimate to have it looked elsewhere. Just honestly a completely lack of care in my opinion. Will never return to them. Your job is to fix the car... can't even do that.

They were able to fit me in quickly and they work brilliantly with the Enterprise a block away so my rental experience was seamless. I've had Caliber repairs on former cars at the Wake Forest, NC location with good experiences and this location was no different. Tim was excellent! Kept me updated on my repair and got me back in my Mustang faster than expected. The repair was flawless and you can't even tell that someone hit me! Everyone was super friendly at this location even though they're always extremely busy!! SO happy to have my car back and EXTREMELY pleased with my repair and the team at Caliber.
