Top dollar is paid here, sub standard management decisions. The wheels and tires I purchased were installed out of balance and the tire pressure sensors were uncalibrated. While management is trying to explain to me that they are calibrated you can clearly see you on any YouTube video that calibration is required wheel by wheel to the PCM of the vehicle. After returning three times to try to get the wheels calibrated and one month of back-and-forth I decided to fix the wheels myself by just taking them to Ford in 5 minutes it was completed. POOR QUALITY RIMS AT INFLATED PRICES! We purchased a set of 4 "chrome" rims for $1600, which were pitted after only 3 months and 2,000 miles later. When we showed the rims to the owner Sean, he said that we did not "take care of them" which is absurd because my car, which is garage kept and in pristine condition, is regularly washed and detailed. We would have been better off purchasing rims on Amazon, as I later discovered that the same exact rims were half the price! Good day to all who read this review and trust the feed back from others. When dealing with anyone in the automotive business you always have to assume one thing and that is simply that nobody is your friend. This holds especially true with RAYCO and their employees. I feel inclined to write this review due to the nature of my interaction with them and honestly hope it helps and assists someone one day who's tethering between doing business with this shop. I am in the military stationed in New York but currently living in the Hackensack area. I am sporting a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and finally saved my hard earned money to upgrade my stock rims and tires to something more to my liking. I choose RayCo because of the many Jeeps I've seen posted outside the shop. When I entered the store I spoke with Sean (Iranian dude who's always on the phone) about what I was interested in. I wanted 33" tires with some sort of black rims. The more we spoke the more Sean tried to get out of me, including a lift/leveling kit which I had no interest in initially buying but do admit to eventually wanting it some time down the road. I didn't budge on the price he offered and instead choose to stick with the rims of my choice with the 33s (the max I can get for my non-lifted jeep). After payout I left the shop to prep my vehicle to drop off and on my way home I received a text from Sean saying the shop he orders the 33s from did not have them in stock (red flag) but instead they have 35" tires. Right away I knew, I could not get 35" tires without a lift that I was already unwilling to pay for. So Sean tells me, he'll give me the 35s for no additional price (I already willingly paid a ton for the 33s so it wasn't really that big of a hookup) and he'll do a 2.5 inch lift for $350. That sounded like such a sweet deal and seemed like due to his honest mistake he was looking out for my best interest. But he was only setting me up to sucker me. After I got my Jeep it rode like crap and I told them it needed to be fix, sent it in, got it back and still had the same problem. A fellow Jeeper pulled me to the side in a parking lot (no shit) to tell me "Hey, your sway bar link is put on incorrectly!" We compared Jeeps, lifts and stories and I ended up finding out that the lift I paid for wasn't a lift and the morons at his shop completely reassembled my Jeep incorrectly! (I have pictures to prove it) he charged me $350 for a 2.5 inch lift but really gave me a cheap DayStar budget boost (worth $60 and a 45 minute job) and risked causing long term damage to my Jeep. Also never got my alignment done which is why my Jeep shakes and rattles when I go past 45mph. I now had to buy a real lift kit online($900) and will have to pay a lot more money in installation fees($500-$700) to keep the tires I paid for and fix the problem that was caused by RayCo. If you stuck by and read everything I hope it opens your eyes to what you're potentially getting into and that you don't have to go through what I did. I honestly wish no harm and just hope Sean and the entire staff just realize that they should do better research into what they're doing and the business they're advertising. 1 star out of 5 and never coming back. read more

I have to say this place has been around for quite a few years and they are always busy, so I had them install an aftermarket stereo in my Mustang. Junior did the work and it came out great! He said anytime you have a problem just let us know. Well that's definitely good for me. I would definitely bring it back for more mods. Then I brought in a set of factory fog lights to be installed. That was, unfortunately a different experience. They did have to take of the bumper to install them, was was explained to me and I had no issue with that. It's a better installation. What I did have a problem with was several things. First off there was a factory switch right on the console, but instead of connecting to it they drilled a hole in a panel right by my shifter and put this cheap switch in. Doing this created a problem because the switch was directly in the way of my phone mount. 2nd issue, the bezel that surrounds the instrument cluster was broken in 2 places. I get it, my car is old, the plastic is brittle over time but there was no acknowledgement that this happened. If something was mentioned when I picked it up, I would have been understanding and I would have just epoxied it back ( which I did anyway), but the fact that nothing was mentioned... ...BIG problem. 3rd issue, the bumper. It keeps popping loose on the drivers side. Every now and then I have to go out and pop it back in place because it's hanging an inch past the body line and an inch forward from the light housing. Luckily I know people and have friends who I shared this story with and they were able to help me out with most of these corrections but that was a bad experience. The worst part of course is that nothing is mentioned about the damage done during the installation. Maybe this was a one off experience because like I said they are always busy and maybe trucks are their thing and not Mustangs. read more

Hate leaving negative reviews, but whether or not this place has the best customization in the tri-state, their customer service, from my experience, was subpar. I went in there with cash in hand, wanting to upgrade my wheels and tires to a 19" set, as well as inquire about vinyl wrapping. I stood around for 20 to 25 minutes, and not one person even attempted to assist me. There was only ONE other customer in there. I left, went to another shop down the road in Lodi, was approached immediately, given recommendations, and purchased a beautiful set of wheels and tires. I couldn't have been more satisfied! They re-wired the entire radio controller. I had a horrible experience with VIP Auto in Lodi, they were scammers, and Rayco, not only fixed all their mishaps they also installed a snorkel, side running step boards, a Bull Nose Bar, a rear ladder, and fog lights! I asked them if I could leave my original AMG rims there until I could pick them up. 2 weeks later I went to pick up the AMG rims and they said they no longer had MY rims that came with my car. I brought my Mercedes benz GL550 to this place for a simple running board lights, and driving back home my truck caught an annoying noise while driving it, then one side of the side running board lights went off. I took my truck back the next day , they gave me appointments every week and whe I showed up they said have to come back other day, like that for a period of one month, they were supposed to change the running board light which both were damaged because they routed the wires next to the draft shaft and catalytic, they just taped them and left them hanging out of the undercarriage of the vehicle. With one simple explanation, he & his guys (thanks Richie!) knew exactly what to do and when i returned a little over an hour later, everything was done including finishing touches of returning the old wheels (protected in bags/sleeves) already loaded up in my car and he had even used my original factory center caps instead of the aftermarket ones (i had forgotten to ask, but he knew it was the right thing to do anyway). The wheels and tires were clean and shined up and looked perfect. To top it off, i had to stop for gas at a station nearby afterwards where the attendants complimented my wheels...not even 5 minutes after leaving Rayco II...pretty sweet validation of a job well done. Sean's pricing is fair...dont expect massive discounts...but you get what you pay for in terms of confidence that he is doing things the right way. If you want a wheel-buying experience that will make you feel properly educated and confidenct in the decision you are making, I'm not sure you can do much better than Rayco in the NY/NJ area. First and foremost it is a miracle this place is even open which should give you an indication of how they do business. I am glad that I am able to give them a review albeit a few years after my first and last experience with them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I went there to get wheels and tires for my S Class requesting 20in wheels only to be up-sold to 22in wheels after being assured they would work fine with my car but more about that later. I was told one price however was charged another once they were on the car - of course once they are installed and tires on the wheels they are no longer new and after a lengthy argument they lowered the price slightly however was still $800 higher then the original promised price. The sales rep blamed the owner and the owner blamed the sales rep and it was awkward and professional as a Moroccan flea market. Needless to say I felt screwed and expected to at least be happy with my purchase. After shopping online I noticed that I paid 2x more then any online source after being promised the lowest cost on these rims because they were a brand new design they "wanted in the street". In less then 24 hours I had 2 flats - after pushing me into 22in wheels over the requested 20in wheels it turned out that they were a terrible fit for the wonderful NJ roads. The first 2 flats were actually caused by railroad tracks giving you an idea of how sensitive the wheel and tire combo was. Long story short after 6 flats and 2 replacement tires (expensive) and multiple wheel repairs within the first 2 weeks the wheels and tires were removed. I requested an exchange for 20in wheels which was what I wanted in the first place but was assured I would have no issues with the larger wheel - I would have been happy if they took the 22s back and gave me 20in wheels and called it a day however they made no effort to make me a happy customer and would have had to pay them extra after they resold the time I purchased to get the 20s that I requested from the jump and especially after being assured the 22in wheel and tire combo would be fine for my car felt like a total slap in my face. So basically I wasted $6,000 (plus 2 replacement tires and repair costs) to get stuck at my house or office until I put the stock wheels back on my car. I would never do business with them again and I strongly request that no one reading this work with them as well. Actually if you are considering working with them I would be happy to advise you of where to get the parts and work done cheaper and without BS were you are happy with the purchase. This place is a low volume shop with a huge facility - the only way to support this business model is by raping the small customer base they have and by taking advantage of customers who rely on them to recommend for input on products. As much as I like to support small and local businesses, I detest business practices such as the ones that are commonplace here. Extremely overpriced, annoying salesman with a know-it-all attitude and provided false information

I called raucous for price to install my tires on new rims. Aske for price and the owner tells me 200. I said to him that this price was the most I got quoted He says ok, 150. I said great, see you tomorrow. I get there and he says someone else must of given you this price, because the price is 250 ? , but if that's what you were quoted, then ok. (Nobody charges 250 to install for tires, unless you are driving a tractor trailer) his installers did not use the "star/ pattern " to put the lug nuts on. They just went around in a circle, which is not recommended, especially with aluminum rims. And when installing lug nuts on custom rims/wheels, you should use a torque wrench. Not tighten to kingdom come with a impact gun (not good) so that's 3 strikes as far as I'm concerned. No, wait, he charged me 40 dollars for lock nuts that cost 14.00 on Amazon. I realize it's normal to mark things up 20 percent on retail, but not 4 times the price. Strike 4 moral of this story, for someone who specializes in wheels for a very expensive cars do you think they would go textbook when installing them, ? Not this place. He hires Moe, Larry,and curtly @ 14.00 an hour and is very greedy. Go back to the middle east and rip off your Muslim brothers, because you're not getting my business anymore. WORST RIM PLACE PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Okay so I went to get rims for my Dodge Charger.. I was on a budget of about 1100$ so I knew I was not going to get anything too special.. I picked something I like and Sean (OWNER OF RAYCO) said okay 7-10 business days which turns to be average 2 weeks most... well week 3 ended so I gave him a call he said drop your car off tomorrow at 11 AM so I did and first I didn't get my car back until 5-6 PM... as I pickup my car THEY'RE THE WRONG RIMS!! I asked why they were on he said they are loaners because yours didn't come in yet.. SO WHY TELL ME TO DROP MY CAR OFF!! A little less than a week goes by I call for info about when they will arrive he tells me the wheels I ordered are not manufactured anymore (he told me they're brand new rims before I ordered) so he sent me some to choose from and I chose another rim he said the other ones I wanted are not manufactured anymore.. he wasted a month of my time and put on probably the most ugliest rims I have ever seen !!
