The move took 8.5 hours, bringing the total to $1,108.99 which we paid upon completion. That was AFTER the $200 we paid up front at the start of the move. But wait--there's more! The actual amount that appeared on my mom's credit card was $1275.34! I've called the Greensboro office several times (at least 4) trying to resolve this. Each time, whoever answers the phone tells me that they'll have the manager, Craig Wilkinson, call me back. He never has. I finally left my own message on his voice mail. Still no returned call.

The two guys showed up about 30 minutes early (always a bonus in my book), and were straight with pricing and required no negotiation. I knew I wanted to support local no matter what and their price was right in my ballpark ($425 for the full truck) which was $200 less than the big name guys. I had negotiated the big name guys down to $400 but still didn't want to pull the trigger until Junkyard Dogs showed up, because I knew if it was still in that range, I'd happily pay more for a local company. The two men got right to work, packing my construction debris very efficiently into the truck, maximizing every square inch. It took them about an hour to clear my carport where I had accumulated all of the debris from my remodel. I called the owner to pay via phone and express my gratitude and he was very thankful and kind. I highly recommend these guys and will gladly use them in the future.

In dealing with both of them during this Pandemic while I had medical problems and lost work is like dealing with two polar opposites. Ray Self Storage have been angels. Securcare however, does not return calls and in fact routs your call to a system where you have to pay and not discuss your account. They are stuck on late charges and liens. You would think after 17 years of being a customer it might make a difference to them but it doesn't. Pandemic or not they're out to make you suffer.
