Actually, before walking in, they had followed up with me on the phone regarding my reservations to ensure I had what I needed and understood their process. While there, they gave me a quick tour of their climate-controlled facilities, and I was pleased with what I was seeing: a well-maintained property and clean facilities. The rates are fair, and the deposit to hold the unit was minimal. This location is Kiesha Speech approved for anyone looked for someone looking to store their items in a safe and secure location. Excellent Storage Facility and Outstanding Customer Service!…read moreRight Fit Storage on Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro, NC, is an excellent storage facility! My daughter previously rented a unit here and spoke very highly of the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the building, so I felt confident choosing this location for my own storage needs. Sympathy assisted me with getting everything set up, from selecting the correct storage unit size to taking advantage of the free moving truck. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. She also gave me a tour of the facility and clearly explained how to use the gate code, access the building, and the last entry time. I even received a free lock for my storage unit, which was a nice added bonus! Overall, my experience was excellent from start to finish. The facility is clean, the staff is professional, and the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend Right Fit Storage on Gate City Boulevard to anyone looking for a clean, secure, and well-managed storage facility. Be sure to ask for Sympathy--she made the entire process easy and stress-free!

The note stated the office was closed (on a Friday) until 3pm because the manager had to run an errand. NOT THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. We had a full 15'truck we had just driven from VA. Had I known what I would find, I would have moved from there completely. The ceiling was falling in on my unit. There was rat feces EVERYWHERE. Most of my furniture was ruined by rat pee (my black couch was literally stained yellow and my yellow chair was nearly black). The rats nibbled on my bedding and even on an end table. It was so bad, I had to take most of my things to the dump. Don't even think about storing here. There are more options available. If I could give it no stars here, I would definitely do it.

Moving is such a stressful experience!…read more Fortunately I found AAA Self Storage on Groometown Road. I had never used a storage facility before and wasn't quite sure what to expect. The staff there were super friendly and extremely helpful. The use of the moving truck - for free!! - was a surprise added bonus. I was supposed to keep a single 10 x 20 unit for a month, but ended up with 4 units for two months (to date) Michell Riggs was awesome to work with. She made sure my units were close together for my ease of use and made the whole chaotic and difficult situation a little better - which was very much appreciated! Someone needs to give that lady a raise! :) I've visited the location numerous times to move my belongings out a little at a time and every time, Michell and Julie are friendly and happy to help me in any way possible. Seriously, I can't recommend this place enough. I hope to never have to use it again though! :)

The prices for units are jacked up every six months or so, due of course to the fact they are holding your possessions hostage. The latest semi-fraudulent scam AAA Storage is running is to add "insurance" charges to the invoices for their units. You are allowed to opt out of their insurance, but after repeatedly providing their offfice with a copy of my own insurance company's invoice clearly showing the effective dates of coverage, I am continuing to be charged for their insurance. There are many noticeable areas of damage to door weatherstripping, downspout drain hoses etc. which are never repaired. Not recommended.
