The units were clean and the climate control worked great. The move-in special was awesome and saved us so much money! And when our house load of things were moved out, my mom and I were already out of state. My friend had to supervise the move from American Flag. AF employees were understanding of us not being there and helped make sure that everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them!

This is a very poorly run company. The high staff turnover suggests a problem with the management,…read moreand the result is that these storage facilities are shabby and poorly maintained. The prices for units are jacked up every six months or so, due of course to the fact they are holding your possessions hostage. The latest semi-fraudulent scam AAA Storage is running is to add "insurance" charges to the invoices for their units. You are allowed to opt out of their insurance, but after repeatedly providing their offfice with a copy of my own insurance company's invoice clearly showing the effective dates of coverage, I am continuing to be charged for their insurance. There are many noticeable areas of damage to door weatherstripping, downspout drain hoses etc. which are never repaired. Not recommended.

Moving is such a stressful experience!…read more Fortunately I found AAA Self Storage on Groometown Road. I had never used a storage facility before and wasn't quite sure what to expect. The staff there were super friendly and extremely helpful. The use of the moving truck - for free!! - was a surprise added bonus. I was supposed to keep a single 10 x 20 unit for a month, but ended up with 4 units for two months (to date) Michell Riggs was awesome to work with. She made sure my units were close together for my ease of use and made the whole chaotic and difficult situation a little better - which was very much appreciated! Someone needs to give that lady a raise! :) I've visited the location numerous times to move my belongings out a little at a time and every time, Michell and Julie are friendly and happy to help me in any way possible. Seriously, I can't recommend this place enough. I hope to never have to use it again though! :)

I recommend this place 100%!! Thanks American Self Storage.

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I stored my stuff here when my husband who is…read morein the military got stationed overseas. We were unable to move our belongings overseas with us so I needed somewhere climate controlled to store our stuff. This was one of the only place to pop up in my search. It was a newish facility at the time so I figured I'd give it a shot. BOY WAS THAT A MISTAKE. Are the facilities nice? Sure. Is the customer service good? Hell no. My rent is raised every 3-4 months. I've had to use storage facilities quite a few times in the past 10 years and I'm use to a yearly rental raise. That's pretty standard. What I'm not use to is the rent being increase by $50 in a period of two years because it goes up every few months. I was promised my rate would be locked for a year only to have it raised for a fourth time like 4 months later. I believe Melissa the "lovely" manager keeps doing this to me because I'm overseas and do not have the option of moving my things to a new facility. My husband is junior enlisted in the military and we are barely surviving in the high cost area we are stationed. We can't afford a trip to the US just to move our stuff to a place with better customer service. After expressing my discontent every time to the manager there I get back an apology email filled with excuses, poor grammar, and typos. It really makes you wonder what type of company this is when they hire a manager that can't even use spell check before she sends a business email. I feel like I'm being completely ripped off and made the unfortunate mistake of storing my stuff with a scam company. I sincerely hope no one else gets suckered into storing this stuff here. To say I'm disappointed would be a vast understatement. Can't wait for my next rental raise in 3 more months.

Actually, before walking in, they had followed up with me on the phone regarding my reservations to ensure I had what I needed and understood their process. The rates are fair, and the deposit to hold the unit was minimal. This location is Kiesha Speech approved for anyone looked for someone looking to store their items in a safe and secure location. Right Fit Storage at 3404 W Gate City Blvd. in Greensboro, NC, is a new climate-controlled storage facility built with an elevator, making all three floors easily accessible. It is priced very competitively and even runs specials. The current winter special is half off! My favorite part about this location by far is the staff. From the moment I called to schedule a unit, I knew I had made the right decision. When you walk into the lobby, you are greeted with smiles from Keral, Katroya or Angela. This phenomenal trio keeps the property pristine and runs things like a well-oiled machine. The bathroom is spotless and always smells good, and there is hot coffee for guests. I appreciated that Ms. Debbie even called me from the Corporate office to see if I had any questions or needed anything once I was moved in. On the property itself, I love that there is a gate code and security surveillance system on site and that the access hours are convenient. There is plenty of accessible parking, and units on all floors are accessible because of the elevator. If you need extra space to store your belongings, I highly recommend Right Fit Storage on W. Gate City Blvd. It is a new facility, and it is very well run. When you go by, tell them Kindra Speech sent ya!

I've been storing things for work at this location for almost 4 years now, and the company that…read moreowns this lot has changed three times. Also in that time, my rate has been threatened to increase (by more than 50%) on several occasions, and while the staff at the desk seems to be able to prevent that from happening every single time, it still requires me to go in there, and take manual action. But ultimately, despite these nuisances, I haven't had a real problem with the actual storage, or my ability to get in and out, or even with the staff there (who are always friendly and willing to help). My main reason for the three stars is that the website for the current owners, Devon Self Storage, is extremely difficult to use. It also doesn't inspire confidence in me that my payment info is being kept safe and secure, because it doesn't use any kind of well-known payment handler when processing transactions. I can't even get an actual receipt or invoice on the site, I have to screenshot the page with just the basic "You paid this much" on it... and that's all I get. No ability to download a statement, PDF, or anything. It just has a very shoddy feel to it, that doesn't make me confident.
