Hired Dan to come in and repair some seriously banged-up drywall in a few areas of our apartment…read more Not usually a person who leaves reviews, but felt especially compelled to do so in this case. TBH I was skeptical that the two walls that needed the most work could actually be fixed, due to years of wear and tear and a multitude of nail/screw holes from a huge wall shelving unit that we recently took down. Dan took his time and gave incredible attention to detail and I have to say, both walls look literally brand new. We had some great conversation as well. Just a terrific guy who does amazing work for a very fair price. We'll be having Dan back soon to help with other areas of our space. Highly recommend.

I contacted DMJ Flores Painting and the owner, Denni, came for a same-day free estimate. Later…read morethat evening, he provided me with a written estimate via email that outlined everything he was going to do. He is truly a professional businessman: knowledgeable, honest, engaging, not a pushy salesman, and makes you feel at ease. Not only is he the head of his company, but he works alongside of his team. His staff mirrors him to a tee with punctuality and providing quality work. Quality - Denni and his team restored my ceilings in over a hundred-year-old house without using new sheetrock, which I think was the easier way out. He assured me that the ceilings would look brand new, which they did. Secondly, the painting was done very neatly with a brush, roller, and spray, all while protecting my wood floors and some walls, which I did not paint. He did some other odd-end projects that came out great. If he doesn't know something, he takes a step back and thinks about it in order to make it happen. Oh, and even right down to the garbage, was folded neatly, taped, and packed in black garbage bags. Cost - This was the first time using his services and I went based on price and interview. I took six estimates because what do I know about the price of bananas??? I have to say, DML Flores's price is competitive. I am glad I chose his company to handle my projects. I highly recommend him if you need services in your home! Laura L.

I went through all the details with him. After that, I inquired about his quotation for this job. He told me that it would be around $7,000. He told me that he would write up the estimate and send it to me afterward. When I got his written estimate, my jaw dropped to the floor. He raised the price from $7,000 to $12, 480.00. It blew my mind that he would raise the price by almost over $5,600 the next day. He is ridiculous. I don't think that he is a trustworthy person. Besides that, he was very unprofessional and selfish when making appointments for an estimate with me. When he made the 1st appt with me, he canceled at the last minute. Then we rescheduled another appointment. That day I rushed home from out of state to meet him. While I was on my way home for the appt., he texted me that he arrived 1/2 hour earlier. I asked him to wait for me because I would arrive on time. But he refused, he told me that he could not wait. Then we rescheduled the 3rd time, but he didn't confirm the time. To my surprise, he just showed up at my door without my confirmation of being at home. This guy does things according to his convenience and advantage. His way or no way. I wouldn't recommend this guy & his company to anyone. Think more than twice if you want to hire him!!!
