I recently booked an appointment with Ray Laks Honda and because of the reviews on here I was a bit skeptical. When I went in for my appointment I was pleasantly surprised with impeccable customer service, a clean business, and friendly staff. Steve and Alex did an amazing job working with me, within a couple hours I was driving off in my brand new Kia Stinger. Thanks, you guys are the best!!!

Adam took care of me and said he would have them check to see if they were needed or not. I waited for the vehicle, it was quick . The vehicle was inspected and everything checked out so nothing else had to get done. The cashier was a little backed up, the customer was trying to use points but didn't know how to access them and didn't have the app. The service reps seen the backup and came to help to get every one out in a timely manner.

This last time it was in for 8+ months. They refused to listen to what they problem MAY be, instead trying every possible other thing while our truck sat for months on end. We finally get a call to pick the truck up and get it home... and the truck - after sitting for almost 9 months in their shop , is due for an oil change. They could not manage that in 9 months?! I can tell you our calls went unanswered quite often. They did seem to be able to call back when THEY needed their loaner exchanged oddly enough. After suggesting (while the truck was still in for repairs) that we are considering filing paperwork citing the Lemon law, not only did it 'get repaired' quickly, but they offered us 40% of what we paid. In October 2021, I was in the market to buy a new vehicle, but the specific one I wanted, Toyota RAV4 Prime, is not sold in the state I live in. Due to supply chain issues and production, RAV4 Primes are extremely hard to find. Most dealers that I called are only selling them to local in-state residents or adding huge markups (~ 5 to 10K or more!). The few Toyota dealerships that do sell to out of state residents AND at MSRP generally have really long waitlist (6 months or more). I chatted with Patrick at West Herr in late October and he said that they could sell me a Prime at MSRP but the wait could be 4 - 6 months if I was set on a specific color, but it could be sooner if I was flexible on color. He was friendly, professional, and 100% transparent and honest from the 1st time I chatted with him. On November 11, about 3 weeks after I left my initial deposit, I received a call from Patrick asking if I was open to the silver/black color and that the vehicle was set to arrive in early December. My wife and I decided that the silver/black color was fine. Patrick was also helpful in adding / removing options/accessories that I did not want. The best part of the whole experience was that there were no surprise dealer add-ons, packages, markups, etc. This was my first time buying a vehicle out-of-state and having it shipped and Patrick and West Herr Toyota Orchard Park made me feel comfortable throughout the entire buying experience. He was very communicative and gave me updates on ETA, took photos of the vehicle when it came in. The paperwork to sign and buy the car was still done on paper and sent via FedEx. The only way I think it could be faster is if that was moved to digital/DocuSign. Nonetheless, the whole process was relatively quick and easy. Patrick even came in on his dayoff, December 24th, when the dealership was closed, so that he could meet the truck driver and load up my RAV4 Prime. The vehicle was delivered on 12/30 and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the vehicle and the service we received from Patrick and the staff at West Herr Toyota Orchard Park.

While talking numbers with the salesperson, the kid driving my car says its unsafe and I shouldn't drive it home. Then the service manager reiterates the same thing. I'm thinking this a very bizarre sales tactic. The van I test drove was being sent to Rochester for a pending sale so I had to decide right then and there if I wanted to purchase - I declined. When I got my keys back to drive my car home, the brake line was completely ruptured and fluid was leaking everywhere. They wouldn't show me camera footage proving the brake line broke prior to them taking my vehicle. And I was left stranded without a ride with not a soul in sight willing to help. They had my car for four days before it was repaired with a $1,000 price tag. I was told they'd refund my fee if I purchased a vehicle. But without inventory I'm not sure how they expected that to be a resolution. I wouldn't buy a keychain from West Herr.

After multiple frustrating experiences, I feel obligated to warn others about the service…read moredepartment at this dealership. The first issue occurred when I brought my car in for a leaking tire. I was told the repair would take a couple of hours and that I'd be contacted when it was complete. I later received a call pushing the timeline back even further. However, when I returned two hours before that updated estimate, my car was already finished and sitting in the lot. Staff had no explanation and only confirmed after checking with staff that it had been done for quite some time without anyone notifying me. To make matters more confusing, there was also internal miscommunication about the repair itself. At one point, someone questioned who had approved a new tire as if it were a "custom part," which only added to the lack of clarity and confidence in their process. More recently, I brought my car in due to concerning brake noises. I was initially told there was no availability for two weeks. After explaining that I rely on my car for work and didn't feel safe driving it, they suddenly found space earlier. I was told I would receive an update around 5 PM after dropping it off at 11am. Once again, I never heard from anyone and had to call myself. I then had to rush to pick up a loaner vehicle, only to be told that my car hadn't even been looked at because they chose to prioritize a larger project. Had I not followed up, I would have had no way to get to work the next day. I am now left driving a loaner with no clear timeline for when my vehicle will even be inspected. Consistent lack of communication, poor organization, and disregard for customers' time make this an unreliable place for service. I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Update: They didn't fix what was wrong with my vehicle and fixed another aspect of my car. The noise I raised concern for came back TWO hours after picking up my vehicle. Before i picked up my car I had to call them to question when was the estimate time i'd receive my car back. When I brought it back I was asked to take it on a test drive with the tech where he proceeded to say yea I wasn't able to replicate that noise but it's really concerning... I have time to look at it today. (this was a Friday). Come Tuesday i haven't heard anything from them and decided to call ONCE AGAIN for any update on my car and the girl proceeded to tell me parts were ordered. I questioned why I have to continue to call them for updates on my car and what was the reason I was unaware my car needed certain parts or what repair is being made. She had no answer other than my advisor should have called and she's not in on Monday's. You have had my car since Friday it is 4 days later, and I am still in the dark about what is wrong with my car and what they are fixing. But don't worry parts are ordered...

While my car was being worked on, I waited in their customer lounge, which was very comfortable and well-equipped with free WiFi and plenty of charging outlets, which allowed me to get some work done on my laptop. Also has a coffee machine, and a water dispenser etc. They also sent me a streaming link so I could actually watch my car being serviced in real time. Overall, everything was smooth, professional, and convenient.
