My husband and I purchased a Kia Sorrento from West Herr in 2021. We purchased their service warranty despite the hefty price tag because we wanted piece of mind in case anything went wrong. Less than a year later, the air conditioning stopped working. I took our car to be serviced and they confirmed there was a leak that they could fix under warranty. However, it has been weeks and no one is returning my voicemails. I was told that they were waiting for a part but that it would've arrived by last week at the latest. I have been unable to get an update after leaving 3 voicemails and an email over the last week. Meanwhile, I'm driving my infant and toddler around in a very hot car. Next to West Herr Subaru is West Herr Kia. Not sure who West is, but the salesman who greated me was very pleasant and welcoming. This is a busy place, although I found all the dealerships to be pretty busy on the weekends. I had done some homework and knew what I wanted so just needed some pricing when I went and visited various dealerships. For some reason it seems to take forever to get a price on a car. Kind of like mattresses I guess. Wish it wasn't so difficult to do though. Super nice sales man. He gave me the pricing info I was looking for. I went a different direction and didn't get a Kia. But I'd come here again if a Kia was on the radar. read more

I drove 1.5 hours to view a couple vehicles that another dealer claimed to have in stock only to find out "they must have all sold overnight" Needles to say, I left with less than a positive impression with that dealership. With that being said, I then drove just up the road to stop in to West Herr Kia to be greeted by Hasan. Hasan was great to work with from the moment I walked in the door. do not bother reaching out to west Herr Kia for any help in regards to steering wheel locks. they have no prepared statement and will only give you the Kia customer hotline. they evidently do not want to support any cars with theft issues at all. It gets better. The lease is up and paid through September 24th. I have been trying to return this ugly behemoth for the past week. NO ONE is available take any calls. NO ONE returns any calls. NO ONE should lease from here, EVER! Sick of trying to deal with "Hire us, we know nothing!!" employee placements, I called Kia Finance headquarters. Finance intervened and oddly enough all vacationing/away/busy employees were available to speak and set up the final drive in, turn over. Odd. Don't you think? Bottom line. Go elsewhere. Always very pleased with the customer service here. I arrived a few minutes late for my non routine service appointment due to being stuck late at work. No issue, they had my car back right away while I was still checking in. Andy at the service desk was very professional and friendly, and made sure he offered me the shuttle service if I would need to be somewhere, and directed me to complimentary coffee and tea, as well as snacks in the roomy waiting area with a vending machine and television. Free wifi was also available. My rough wait time was supposed to be over 2 hours when I called weeks before to schedule my appointment. It was only a half hour maybe 40 minutes once they determined my car problem and got that fixed for me, and then were doing a complimentary factory recall fix as well. My car was finished, paperwork done, and all set to go within less than an hour and a half. Andy thoroughly explained to me how my car issue may have happened and what I can do to prevent in the future from happening. He answered any questions I had and was very pleasant to deal with from start to finish. He made sure all my paperwork was filed so my repair would be covered under my Kia warranty with no issues ... Also Love that West Herr gives you a free car wash ticket for Delta Sonic as a courtesy for having your service done with them. Even if you aren't paying a penny from your own pocket. Love West Herr service and sales department too - I bought my car from here a few years back, very honest with their pricing and work hard to get you what you want. To me, that speaks volumes of commitment to customer service making the best of a troubled situation. I realize not everything will go as smooth as you would like from the consumer's perspective, but for them to make sure we were happy and going the extra mile definitely earns my trust and business in the future. Sean our salesman was nice to deal with and did try to think out-of-the-box to arrive at creative solutions for the circumstances we were in, for which we are truly grateful for. The service aspect between our local dealership and the Buffalo location, however, was lacking in commitment to our needs and communication for the situation that arose before we could take delivery of the vehicle. 3 Stars read more

This was my daughter's first time leasing on her own. I had accompanied her for support. The whole experience was horrendous! They promised one price and then tried to write the contract for another. It took 4 hours of waiting to get the deal closed. The treatment she received was disappointing!!! The salesperson was trying to make other sales and not tending to getting her car and contract ready. I have been a long time customer of West Herr Toyota ...always treated like I'm number 1. Everything is always ready to go when I arrive. The paperwork is thoroughly explained. I feel badly that her first experience was less than desirable. So I bought a Kia(obviously) sorento, 2012 about 3 yrs ago with only 25,000 miles on it, back up cam, heated seats, AWD at a good deal as well. Fast forward to November 2018, up to 66,000 miles. My engines seizes and dies. The 'genie lamp' went on. I panicked, as I use my car A LOT for work also if it wasn't covered, it would have been thousands of dollars to fix. Come to find out after speaking to Kia, it's a recall. We had to wait a day or so to find out if they would replace the engine under the recall. Long story short, they did. Kia of West Herr completely took care of us. We had a rental from Hertz which Kia completely covered. While my suv was in the shop, they took car of other recalls as well. When I picked my suv up (about) 3 wks later, they had cleaned my suv as well. Kia of West Herr covered everything. My Suv runs great. I feel good knowing that a company will take care of you and correct their mistake. We will definitely buy our next suv or truck with West Herr.
