A quick recommendation for Ray Hill (www.rayhillhearingaids.com) who is just one of those good people that makes the world great. He makes home visits to help folks with their hearing aid adjustments, purchases, etc. He's been doing it for many years and really takes the time and patients to explain everything. Most maintenances/adjustments visits are FREE - yes that's right. My dad purchased a hearing aid from elsewhere and was never fitted or educated on how to use it. Ray happily came by and helped him through it, as well as lowered his resistance in wearing it, adjusted his app on his phone, and even put in new pieces to fit his ears properly. This was all out of the goodness of his heart. We def. will keep a relationship with him and when it is time for a hearing test or new set of aids, we'll call Ray. His number is 707-515-5522. WOW who would have thought there's such a thing as your friendly and funny in home Audiologist. One of my ear mold tubes broke on a sunday and i only found Ray because i was looking on Yelp for businesses that might be open on a Sunday. He wasn't in the city that day but sure enough swung by the next day in the early afternoon and fixed my tubing and didn't even charge for it! I have been wearing hearing aids for aboput 4 years. These were made by Oticon, and the model is Alta. Recently, one of the hearing aid suddenly stop working. You don't realize it until it quits working. I called Ray Hill and request a home visit to check out the hearing aid. Ray and his associates came 2 days later, and in 10 minutes, he fiound the problem and had it fixed. The hearing aid sound passage were plugged by ear wax. By replacing the small sound outlet nozzle, the hearing aid was restored to functioning state. I am extraordinarily thankful that Ray come and fixed my hearing aid. I ask for his charge for the service call, and Ray said it was at no charge. He just want to make me aware that he provides this kind of service, and when I should need new hearing aids to give him the opportunity to help me with that. OUTSTANDING SERVICE! So pleased with the service we received! The company make FREE house calls and was very professional and courteous. My mother's hearing aids broke. Tried to locate a company to try to repair. Called Ray Hill Hearing Aids and Ray personally came to our home 2 days later. He sat with my mother and tried to repair the hearing aids on site. He was unable to and stated he would take them and try to repair them and bring them back in 2 days. The next day he came back and they were repaired. He even adjusted the volume and everything. He would not even take payment for his work... amazing! He was so nice and professional. He really made a stressful situation better. He did not try to talk us into spending thousands on new hearing aids and even stated he would be willing to look at her older pair of hearing aids to see if he could repair them as well. Ray Hill is a Godsend. I highly recommend Ray to handle any and all of your hearing needs. The difference between him and the last people I was going to for years, without knowing things could be SO MUCH better, is striking. They were nice people but they didn't have the technical expertise coupled with the drive and personality that Ray possesses. He is so knowledgeable and thorough and I am hearing so much better now because of HIM. The hearing aids that I had before were so mediocre (but they weren't cheap!) compared to the ones I have now that Ray recommended and sold to me. I have had these new ones for about six months now and my hearing has improved dramatically. He has so many tools, equipment, and programs to help him diagnose the finest details of your hearing and what is required to improve it. For starters, I can distinguish sounds so much better than I could before. I am not "missing" so much of what others are saying because the sharpness and clarity is profoundly better. One thing that had become really difficult for me was being able to talk on the phone and hear what others were saying. Now, I am able to do that almost as well as I could before. Plus, the service Ray provides is extraordinary. Ray does his best to see you within the same day but, at most, it takes him 48 hours (this all depends on where you're located). Usually he gets to you within 24 hours. He actually comes to your home! Like the last reviewer said, "You just don't find service like this anymore." He knows how to program, synchronize and adjust hearing aids. He understands and utilizes effortlessly all of the complicated technology associated with all of his products. The BEST service ever! Ray has now come out three times to service my dads hearing aids for free each time! He has replaced parts and helped my dad to understand better how to adjust them. Not to mention that these are hearing aids that were purchased through a different company. He is the nicest guy and really has a passion for what he does. There's a reason why he is getting 5 Star Reviews and I totally agree with all of them! My dad previously got his hearing aids from Audiological Services of SF and while there was nothing wrong with them, they charged "insurance", if there is something wrong with the hearing aids, even if it just needs a little cleaning. Now at 85, it's much more difficult having my dad go into an office, so it's a great service to have someone come by to check out his hearing aid. My elderly, Chinese speaking mom, also raves about him, and how nice he is! And she never compliments anyone. I'm just so thankful we found Ray Hill! read more

What a find! Ray is amazing. My father lives with us and his hearing aids just weren't working and we didn't know why. He came to our house (which was unbelievable in itself), tested everything, figured out we needed new batteries, ordered them, brought them out to us, fitted them and only charged a nominal amount. I don't know how he makes any money. He then tested them with Dad, and made some adjustments on the spot, which increased his hearing immensely. I am so grateful to have found him, and would recommend him highly to anyone!! Service does not get any better, or going-the-umpteenth-mile, than this. My hearing aid broke just after arriving in a new city for a new job. Called Mr. Hill who promptly made two FREE house calls with his mobile service to diagnose, obtain a part for, and fix the hearing aid. He didn't charge anything even though I was LATE for my own housecall. He only charges when he sells a hearing aid. He went all out to ensure I would have my repaired aid before a fast-approaching major work event that would be hearing-challenging. SPECTACULAR SERVICE!!!! My father's hearing aid has not been working for two weeks. I tried every possible way to repair the hearing aid. Then I call Ray. He came to our home and fixed the hearing aid in 5 min. I was astounded by the speed and dexterity with which Ray worked. Wow, what a find Ray is! I called yesterday and he came today to my home in San Jose. He fixed my Costco hearing aid with parts from his box, and there was NO CHARGE! He only charges if he has to send the hearing out to be repaired. We got a totally free repair, two jokes and a free pen! He is amazing. My left ear was blocked as a result of a lingering cold. I went to my ENT (Ear, Nose,Throat) Dr. who suggested I get an audio test which I did and got a huge shock - My hearing on both ears was poor (20/36). I needed hearing aids. So, I got an appt.to see and to talk to the Audio/hearing specialist to be fitted, but the appt. was 30 days in the future. I tried to move my appt. but no chance. So I went on Yelp and found Ray Hill who seemed to have the best reviews plus he made house calls. I called him at 9am on Monday, January 22, 2018. He picked up the phone himself, and came to my house at 2pm that same day. I showed him my Audio Chart.He analyzed my situation and fitted me w/a set of hearing aids right in my living room. I have been wearing these aids since then and my whole quality of life changed for the better. I can hear everyone loud and clear and very few people can see my hearing aid. Ray was awesome. He was here again today, Wednesday for an adjustment which I didn't need. This whole process was so, low key, a No Brainer. I recommend Ray 100%.
