My 5 stars are for Sean and Delta's quick response. I'm more than a little disappointed in the York AC unit I had put in as I've had a few issues with 'cleaning' and 'rusting' parts of the heating component--my previous unit didn't have these issues, and it supposedly wasn't such a 'good' unit.

Careful of unnecessary work and price gouging! During a…read moreroutine annual maintenance check of my 4-year old HVAC system, the technician called me (I was out of town) to say he recommended I get a Compressor Assist/Save because my compressor was straining during startup. I agreed, and paid $546.48, in addition to the service visit charge. I've since learned that Delta has been seriously gouging its customers. When I googled the customary charge for the Compressor Assist, I learned that the customary charge for installing one is $225 - $450, AND that I probably didn't need one because my HVAC system is only 4 years old.

I had National Waterheater replace my waterheater to the tankless. What a disaster. The man that…read moreserviced me was from Rocky Mount in 2021. I paid extra for them to run the lines correctly in order to get hot water to the back of my house as well as a line for logs and a grill. Well they left some of the connections loose under my house (my house could have blown up) and the grill line never ran. I had problem after problem I called this team back at least 6 times & after so many times and the problem still not fixed you get tired of talking to the person. Rinnai replaced the module and still did not work, then he said i must have the timer so I purchased the timer and still did not work. I gave up on these people as they were obviously clueless. I called in another company paid 360.00 for a diagnostic turns out this just means they call Rinnai and troubleshoot over the phone, some how NWH had the system hooked up wrong and I got hot water for 2 days. I am now 3 years into dealing with the same problem. We called Delcor this is the company you need to call they charge 130.00 to come out but please now this tech will not leave until your problem is 100 % certain it is resolved. He had this fixed in 2 hours yes he too was on the phone trouble shooting with Rinnai and turns out it was a connector not of Rinnai brand in the back of the house that was not working correctly. I will call DELCOR every time, I believe the techs name is Jeff who is also friendly with great work ethics. Do not waste your time with NWH.

We did so and I also paid (on his advice) him to replace some dampers on my system (on his own time), and modify my system from a 4 zone to a 2 zone. EVERY. SINGLE. As I type this I have an HVAC serviceman decoding the spaghetti mess of wiring in my attic, restore the zones Paul eliminated and replace the dampers I paid Paul to replace. The ones currently in my system are originals and have never been replaced. Paul took money from me for something he did not provide. Paul and I have had this conversion and he has admitted not delivering the dampers he charged me for. He asked what he could do to make this right. I told him, "it's obvious what you should do. Show me what kind of man you are." That was a couple of years ago, and I've not heard from him since. I encourage diligence if you employ him. As with any service company, verify you received equipment he charges for. Be cautious if the pricing seems too good to be true.
