One evening when we were given an estimated wait time of 30 minutes by Spacca Napoli for a patio table, we found that an excellent chance to visit Hazel, a mere 5-minute walk from the pizzeria. As soon as we walked inside Hazel, a friendly man behind the counter promptly greeted us.  I was impressed by the huge and well-curated collection of goods for all ages and styles.  Daughter was so excited to show me around as if it's her own store, lol.  On one wall was a huge display of greeting cards.  There were also jewelry, accessories, baby gifts, housewares, and gifts for men.  Prices were quite reasonable.  If you need a gift, there's really no excuse of not finding one to buy. We were there for 10 minutes having a great time browsing around, then my phone rang and I was told that our table was ready, so we hurried out without buying anything.  The friendly man behind the counter still politely said "thank you" to us! It's been a long time since I've been to Andersonville Galleria. You'll find all kinds of stuff here: clothing, jewelry, artwork, food, and so on. There are two floors, a mezzanine level between the first and second floor, and then a little "loft" area above the second floor. One thing I really like about AG is that you aren't making individual purchases with each merchant; there's a single checkout at the very front of the store and then they sort it all out on the back end. The merchant stalls don't usually have the creator there unless they're restocking or maybe they're doing some sort of special event. There's a small changing room since there are several booths that have clothing. It can be a little cramped in here, so I'm not sure how easily someone with mobility issues/wheelchair users might be able to navigate it, but there is a lift (though I think it requires help from the staff to use). There's no parking dedicated to this business, so it's all street parking or you can use the bus, of course. And it's Andersonville, so parking goes really quickly unless you are here in the morning.

We spent a few minutes looking at the clothes and other jewelry for sale and they had some really cute stuff, and prices seemed pretty reasonable especially for a small boutique. The highlight was definitely the woman who did our bracelets, she was so friendly and helpful and really made it a fun experience. They have a decently sized collection in both silver and gold, along with little charms you can add which I recommend! We walked in and had no wait on a Sunday afternoon, but apparently it can get busy so you may want to make a reservation.

But I've followed on Instagram and they have some beautiful jewelry, and I love jewelry, so I stopped in today whilst waiting for my coffee order at The Coffee Studio to be ready. The staff were nice; I was greeted immediately upon entering. I did get there as they were opening, so it was just me and the three employees. I wandered around for ten minutes or so. They have some beautiful merchandise for sure, and work with local artists as well as those further afield for their jewelry (at the very least). They carry pieces from at least half a dozen artists. Most of it is gold, and I'm not a fan of gold but they had a few silver pieces that interested me and I may be back for. The clothing was a skip for me, since I'm not sure they carry anything above a size four or so. They also had some clips/hair bands/head bands, and why did I spend a ridiculous amount on these? Because they're beautiful, I guess. I think what originally brought WG to my attention is that they do permanent jewelry. I'm really intrigued by this so I've checked into the places I know do it in the city. WG has particularly beautiful chains, and they have a variety of charms from red which to choose (I like the mama one now that I can call myself that!). I need to look at price and confirm that this is where I want to do permanent jewelry... but I think I might be back for that. As a word to the wise, the employee told me that I could come and do it as a walk in, but they recommend appointments on the weekend because it can be very busy. There's nothing but street parking around here, and it's not in the busiest part of Andersonville where there's more parking. There's some street parking on the surrounding streets, and don't forget about Ashland or as far north as Victoria and whatnot up by Gethsemane, which also has a short metered portion.

I enjoy the vibe and how well the small shop is laid out. However, the prices are steep for many items, so I doubt I'll be checking it out too often, given my frugal nature. The interior could not be more neat, and I can tell that the owners have put a lot of thought in what they are sourcing for the shop.

I posted about this on my instagram publicly to warn people and dozens of women responded saying they had the same experience, and that the old woman that runs the place is extremely judgemental, old fashioned, and insists she knows your body better than you and that you won't fit the things you want unless you were smaller. Will not ever be returning, and will always warn women against this place.
