I read lots of amazing reviews on Mundae and requested a service. They were so responsive and talked me through the process. It wasn't long before someone came out to take several tests that consist of an air sample outside and inside and an actual sample of the mold, and a walk around to see if they spot more mold anywhere else. The report came back quick and scheduling of the mold remediation was quick. 3 workers were sent and it took half a day total since it was just our upstairs that needed it. Everyone we encountered was friendly, kind, and informative. Responsive whether it was text, phone call, or email. Appreciate the speediness in which the issue was resolved and felt very pleased with the service. Also I can report back that since then no more mold has appeared. I highly recommend them and have their info saved in case I need them in the future but honestly I hope I really don't.

They ran an industrial dehumidifier and cut out all of the wet components. And they did it shockingly cleanly, covering everything and making sure all debris was cleaned up after. That was the first service. Because I was impressed I also had them do the rebuild. Literally a third of my ceiling needed to be replaced. You have to look really hard, and know it's there, to tell where the wallboard was replaced. They even closely matched the ceiling pattern! The team was phenomenal, polite, friendly, helpful and skilled. An all around exceptional experience. Value was very good too. The final tally was in line with expectations and perfectly reasonable given the quality of work completed.

I was assured by many people that my homeowner insurance would pay for the repair. Fast forward a little bit. I used the Yelp app to check who can come help me. It gave me 2 additional contractors since primary one failed to respond. Within minutes, I started chatting with Jay F from A+fforable on Yelp app. It took a little effort but really efficient to get it done. I guess it's called "Virtual Consultation" during Covid-19 pandemic. Within 2 hours, I got a quote and secured an appointment. I immediately contacted my insurance agent to start a claim. On my first day meeting Austin for damage assessment, he brought Wilmer to start water mitigation. Austin is the supervisor, as you already know from other reviews. He quickly setup dehumidifier, fan and heavy-duty HEPA air purifier. In the same week, they came back with another helper Juan to perform tear out and sprayed fungicide to kill molds and checking for additional damage. I want to share my experience based on my initial connection before this review gets too long. Next thing is to rebuild my room. Having to wait on my insurance claim approval. In this modern age, hard to find a reliable contractor and someone easy to get alone. I will use A+fforable to help me to get my life back to completion.

Jim and Adam arrived in the promised window and after a walk through to explain the process and ask questions about my problem area they got to work. The smell of that pretreatment as it is mixed and applied is quite potent - but it is a good smell for sure. I mention that because we have an olfactory sensitive staff member who I had wisely told to stay away until we were done. While Fantastic was not the least expensive project quite I received they were very competitive and worked hard to understand my needs and earn my business. They are packing to leave and I could not be more pleased with the clean and freshness of our cheap glue down office carpet. Just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is and I wanted to see the dirty extraction water like always because I find it satisfying to see all that ick going down the drain. They were very careful with our belongings and respectful of our space at all points in the process. The big soup stain and the big Sprite mess at our front door are completely gone and the areas under our chairs that had all those little spots are nice and clean. Would highly highly recommend and will for sure use them again.
