Ratch & Deb's is a hidden gem, a wonderful hole in the wall dive bar. The first time I walked in I was blown away by the amount of packer memorabilia. I've been there countless times and I still don't think I've been able to see it all! Great service - I often take their party bus to Lambeau and it's honestly amazing how attentive and quick Carrie is when 20 people all arrive at the crack of dawn before the bar even opens. Just wanted a regular delivered pizza, I get once a year for my birthday. Asked people where to get it and this is where I got sent. Absolutely choking soggy pizza with tomato sauce so spicy and thick I had to scoop spoons off. Picture a can of tomato paste with red peppers in it. The few bites I could take each had a mouthful of thick cheese, it's unbelievably awful if you just want a good delivery pizza. First time stopping in here. Pizza is my #1 favorite food, so i try it everywhere i go. Very, very good pizza. Went with the cheese plus 6 toppings option, holy cow...lots of pizza going home with me. Very tasty, filling and a very fair price. Did ask for extra sauce as most places dont use enough sauce for my liking. Each bite is a mouthful, but overall i'd give it 4 1/2 stars. Will definitely be back. Ordered pizzas to be delivered, and the lady who answered the phone immediately sounded irritated and impatient. I place my order and she said it would take 50 minutes to arrive. I waited an hour and 15 until my food arrived, so I called and the same lady answered. I explained I was just checking in on my order to see how long, and she said "he's on his way" in a very annoyed way, and before i could ask how long ago he left to get an ETA (i don't live far from the restaurant), she said "bye" and hung up. I get it-- food service can be busy, but it leaves a bad impression when the staff comes across as rude. The pizza was good, a little too much cheese, but fantastic sauce! Like seriously the best pizza sauce i've ever had. although the crust was soggy and parts were burnt, the pizza is a solid 7/10 for me. Was it worth nearly $50 for two pizzas? Definitely not. We stopped by this place to order pizza due to a recommendation. My friend has eaten here previously and said the pizza was pretty good. It was not bad but needed a bit more sauce and crust was a bit overdone. She stated there is usually more sauce when she had it. We recently moved to the area and someone recommended we try Ratch and Debs. WOW! The pizza is amazing. Loaded with toppings and so much cheese. The sauce has a great flavor with a bit of spice. I don't understand why people are so loyal to this place. The pizza isn't anything special. There are always too many toppings and too much cheese so the pizza is soggy and once it cools, the cheese congeals into one large mass. It's not anything I go chasing after. If you do order pizza, keep your toppings to a minimum. read more

I got so sick last night from an undercooked pizza from a place here in Oshkosh called Ratch and Debs. We liked them the first couple of times but it seems they are so busy and rushing that the food has been undercooked twice. I called them today and was told that because I didn't call yesterday there's nothing they can do. I try very hard to give people grace when something goes wrong. I know what it's like to be on the receiving end of these phone calls so I tend to be more understanding. This manager basically called me a liar. I have a hard time finding places to eat here because the food is so bland or fried or just plain bad. Well, this is now at the top of my list not because of a crappy pizza but because of her attitude. This is one of my favorite places to get pizza. Besides having great pizza the atmosphere of the bar is wonderful as well. Its smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood so you get a close knit vibe. The staff is fantastic and you are warmly welcomed every time you come in. So back to the pizza. The pizza is perfect if you are wanting a thin crust pizza that doesnt skimp on the cheese, sauce or toppings. The sauce is a perfect combo of sweet and spice. The cheese is always plentiful and if you get all of their specialty pizzas are delicious but especially the BBQ chicken one. The decor was awesome!! Green Bay Packers everywhere!!! I'm a Detroit Lions fan, but I didn't care. Was still impressed. I suggested they open one in Michigan with a Lions theme. Their pizza has too much cheese on it, so I normally ask for light cheese. I like the cheese slightly browned, so twice I've asked for well done, which you can do at Jet pizza and at Glass Nickel with no problem. Both times at Ratch N Deb's, the pizza I got with that combination was burnt to a crisp. As a kid, the best pizza in my hometown of Oshkosh came from Ratch and Benzie's. There was nothing better to me than when Mom would order pizza from there. Then there was a parting of ways, and out of that came Ratch and Deb's. So, needless to say, I have over the years eaten many a slice from there. And I will say simply, the quality and taste has always been the same. Outstanding! Regardless of what you order, count on great ingredients, and large amounts of them. I have never been a fan of thin crust, but, I love theirs. The service has always been friendly and of a high standard. I almost always make a stop there if I am back in Oshkosh. If you a Green Bay Packers fan, you will feel like you have found your second home. The decor is pretty much wall to wall memorabilia from many generations of Packers teams. i'm a fan. great burger and cool spot to enjoy a football game, a burger, and a beer! who can beat a burger, fries, 5 beers for $21 .. (+tip) i had Deb's Deluxe. the meat was cooked perfectliy and had excellent taste. there was no charcoal/grease from the grill.... all flavor. the sauce they put on it (to make it deluxe) was something close to thousand island (that is, if it wasnt). the fries are great!. i havent had crinkle cut fries in years and was happy to have had them. for those that have never been to wisconsin, and have heard that they live and breathe the Packers, its true. this place was a shrine to the pack, as well as brett favre. pictures, statues, cheeseheads, banners, etc.. everything was green n yellow...... but thats what we all want to see right? go to a different city and want to see what the locals live and breathe...... in this place. it was burgers and packers. not bad. read more

My pizza experience at Ratch and Debs was somewhat ruined by eating at Dr. Benzies beforehand. It is quite obvious that the two were once partners in making pizza because the flavors and toppings were IDENTICAL. Even the pepperoni, which I was surprised with at Dr. Benzies, was a higher quality pepperroni than I am used to eating. They are large and meaty unlike the normal pepperoni's that I am used to eating that are made with tons of preservatives. The pizza itself is quite good. The cheese tastes really good and they sure do put alot on it. This place, much like Benzies, is a place where you DO NOT ask for extra toppings. I always ask for extra sauce because I just love a saucy pizza however this came out rediculous. When I am shoveling off sauce you know it is covered. The sauce is good, which is great, but that much is too much. Perhaps that speaks to the way they like to make their pizzas. Saucy and Cheesy so If you want more you had better hoped you were planning on drinking it because they are going to make you pay for it. ( I even heard a young waitor in the back tell the waitress that the caller wanted extra cheese. He stated, "Who does this guy think we are!" I think that is the best way to describe it.... So If you want a filling pizza for a good price, Ratch and Deb's is a good place to go. Beware that the building is kinda older and run down and the waitstaff are somewhat oblivious that there are people dining in the place. I think they would prefer that it just be takeout b/c they would continuously come out to BS with the waitresses and get drinks and such. I do NOT like watching waitstaff whipe sweat with their hands and then go back into the pizza kitchen... UKKK Three stars because: Pizza was good but not SUPERB... This is a bar that also has a small restaurant. It's not a restaurant that also has a bar. It's been my experience then when you're drunk, pretty much anything tastes really good. But if you're looking for pizza for dinner, and you're not alcoholically modified, go somewhere else. The crust is some sort of pre-made something, sort of like heavy Styrofoam bread. There's something like plain tomato sauce painted on, then a ton of ingredients. That might have made a difference, as there's no question that they load on the ingredients. Tons of mushrooms (canned), lots of decent sausage, and plenty of olives. But....when you're eating it all on a base of packing materials and red paint, it just doesn't somehow work together. Frankly, a supermarket frozen pizza is a better choice. You can always add your own ingredients before heating it up. read more
