This place is awesome. They sure have their act together. Yes, sometimes there's a line but it moves. The cashier takes the time to answers your questions about the menu. The burrito my hubby had was large and tasty. Just like something I would make him at the house. I had the elote. I've just started eating those and it was a nice treat. The raspada was soooo good. The only complaint my husband had was that there was so much fruit in the fruit drink it clogged the straw. That's a good problem to have. This does not look like a typical restaurant as it has a real Mexican type atmosphere. Everyone speaks English still. I wish that we had a place like this in our home town. read more

"Chicharro Preparado!???" Be ware, a "chicarron preparado" looks nothing like the picture... you are expected to put it together yourself. I spoke to two different people because it was not what I ordered... they were unwilling to fix the chicharrón and when I asked for a refund or to order something else, the answer was "well, no, you already payed for it" completely unwilling to help in anyway. I have been here before with my family and everything has been great but this has completely ruined the experience. Other than than customer service, food is pretty great, so the review is not based on the food, simply on customer service. read more

Street tacos made to order. Tacos asadas, al pastor, pollo, lengua, tripas, regardless what you order they are great. Service is super fast. The wait is worth it. If tacos are not your style, they also have burritos. In addition, they also have agua fescas shaved ice, and fresh fruit. The strawberry lime drink is good and refreshing. The fruit, fresh sweet and large spears. You can top it with whatever you want. read more

If I could give this a 10 star I would. I absolutely love this place. One of the places I miss the most from Lubbock. Tacos al pastor and torta de barbacoa are the best. The corn, fruity drinks and mangonada are delicious too. Hearing Selena play on the background doesn't hurt either. Perfection. read more

We've been here twice and ordered quesadillas, tacos, and nachos (along with several drinks, including a banging mangonado and Mexican corn in a cup) and the food comes out quick and tastes great. The quesadillas have way more meat than they should have for $10. This is probably going to be our go-to for quick, authentic Mexican food. read more

I came here for dinner the other day. I've heard so much about Raspados and decided to try it for myself. They are only open on the weekends and were pretty busy on a Sunday night. You order at the counter and find a seat till they call your name for your order. I got the tacos al pastor with the fresh cut mangoes. The food was AMAZING! I loved the tacos, there was so much flavor in each bite. The mangoes weren't in season so weren't as sweet as I wanted them to be, but I still enjoyed the Tajin flavoring on them. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes!! read more

This place has the most beautifully presented food. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is consistent and delicious. We have been here several times and have enjoyed everything. They are the reason I look forward to the weekend. The staff is friendly. The line is long and it takes awhile to order but well worth the wait. read more

It's so good. I purposefully missed work to eat there. Their hours are just kinda wack.

We saw a picture of some tacos from here and we had to try it! The atmosphere is great. Every table was taken as we went in, bit the service is so fast that by the time we left the line a table was opened up for my wife and I. The food was incredible! The chips seem to be hand made and are delicious. The queso seems normal until we found the corn mixed in, this has changed my life! I will definitely be coming back! read more

This this a great authentic Mexican hole-in-the-wall type place. My boyfriend recommended it to me and we go almost every weekend when it's open now! This is the only spot in Lubbock where I can get my fix of Flaming Elotes and street tacos. They also have really good house made juices/drinks along with some yummy looking desert drinks as well. The strawberries and cream is a must try too! Everything in the restaurant looks good, so i'm sure you won't be disappointed no matter what you try. It does get busy though because it is only open on the weekends and there is very limited parking. read more

This place is AWESOME! They have pictures of everything they serve, and all of it tastes AMAZING. The staff is SUPER nice and helpful too! You have to try this place, 10/10 recommend! I went with a group of 5 people and we ordered 8 different things for us to all try and share and everything was DELICIOUS. Probably my favorite thing on the menu is the elote with hot cheetos. Their tacos and are super delicious and the caldo de res taste just like my moms... seriously everything is good!!! read more

Just tried this place for the first time today. I tried the Corn in the Cup, the Asada Torta, and some friends got some other treats. It's also definitely got a unique twist to the fruit in the cups and the snowcones. It was my first time to try the Corn in the Cup made with the full mixture of toppings. It was really good, the only downside is that it was made with canned corn, and not sliced directly from the cob like other places. Nonetheless, it was still super tasty and had a great kick to it. The Asada Torta was a delicious combo, but the meat was a little tough and the bread wasn't really toasted and had a super soggy bottom half (I'm assuming from the tomato and mayo mixture?). The salsa that it came with was good and added extra flavor. I haven't tried the sweets, but the next time I visit I plan on trying the Strawberries and Cream, the Magonada, or the Chamoy and Pickles. read more

Staff is extremely friendly. Even when it is busy (which is always), they find the time to explain what their options are and let me taste a few things I had questions about. Sorry about the people behind me! The quesadilla with barbacoa was very tender and had their authentic flavor. Same with the barbacoa tacos paired with a large Mexican Coca-Cola and Melon drink. I would come here again despite it being busy all the time. read more

Authentic Mexican food, cute little hole in the wall. If you want real street tacos this is the place to go to. The food is worth every penny and it is not over priced. The desserts are whole meals as is, so if you are wanting an authentic sweet Mexican treat you've got to go! read more

All I can say is mmmm, best street tacos around and their cucumber and lime agua fresca is bomb!

We loved the food! I had a ceviche tostada, which tasted great. The tostada got saggy, so the ceviche should have been drained. I also had a fruit cup, asado taco, and al pastor taco. All were perfect! My daughter had an al pastor quesadilla and elote. She had so much, she brought half home. We waited in line a couple minutes, but the food came out quickly and everyone was friendly. I also sampled the Agra Fresca while I was in line. I liked the cucumber. read more

The selection of agua frescas here is plenty! I recommend ordering CUCUMBER LIME; it happens to be quite divine. It is a stepped up limonada with bits of fresh cucumber. The environment is refreshing and colorful. I love the pineapple theme going on. Even one of the employees had a pineapple print Hawaiian shirt on. The Latin music was blasting. I could see this place as a fun stop for your crew, either friends or family. Do not leave without trying a taco or torta. The ASADA TORTA w/AVOCADO was a messy delight of soft chewy bread, savory asada chunks, spicy pickled jalapenos, and creamy avocado slices. They don't spare one dime to attempt to win your heart with their tortas. Yum! read more

By far the best Mexican tortas I've been able to find my 9 years in lubbock. Tacos are amazing as well and you can't go wrong with their corn in a cup. Super authentic carne asada and barbacoa!!!!!!! Place is usually packed so get in early can't imagine food last till end of day. read more

My favorite place in Lubbock!!! Amazing food, great staff, very clean. Would recommend to everyone!

Been here NUMEROUS times and the food is always amazing. However, just had the rudest encounter with an employee when placing a new order. I always tend to get the same thing and wanted to branch out today and order a dessert. My friend had gotten something cotton candy the other day so I stated I wanted that & confused the order for something else on the menu. i kindly asked as soon as i realized to fix the order before making it! Then of course as they proceeded to make it they were mad when I wanted what I had thought I ordered. Anyways this lady literally started making a huge deal and throwing a tantrum and didn't want to give me a refund. never in a million years would I had such an awful embarrassing experience here. All Im saying is I guess you should know what your ordering before stepping in there. read more
