This is the 2nd time in a week that we have come to this store. The young man that is working with air pods in his ears is incredibly rude. He does not greet anyone, doesn't say a word actually. He was also incredibly rude to an older woman because she couldn't figure out how to use her card. I usually buy something from this store every time I am in town, but will not be coming in if I see him working.. read more

super cute toys but the customer service was awful!! we went to look at jellycats and asked the young man with his headphones in to get one down for us, he looked disgusted and got it down then left. we then had to get everything down ourselves and just leave it in an open spot. he also didn't say a word to us, even when we said "have a nice day" or tried to communicate with him. very nice store but bad customer service from this guy. read more

I normally don't write negative comments but this establishment cries for one. We went in to get some sweatpants and candy for the kids. My autistic kid dropped one of the candy and the lady at the counter shouted 'you got to buy it if you drop them'. Totally justified only she could have said that to either me or my husband instead of shouting that to our kids. We got the candy and left the place. I feel as though me and my family could have had a better welcoming to this store at the Carousel Mall this afternoon being as this was one of the first stores we walked into. My sister had ice cream in a cup walking into the store, when we were already looking inside about 3 minutes in, a guy employee came up to her and said "we don't allow ice cream in this store" not as polite as he could've addressed it. She just apologized and we left. Nothing too major but I wouldn't come back just because she's a child and the way he addressed that to her didn't sit well w/ me. read more

This place has adorable toys and seems to be kid-oriented, but something very disturbing happened when I was in there today. There's an enormous TV mounted on the wall across from the checkout counter, I guess so the worker can watch something during their shift. While I was browsing, I heard a cat yowling sound on the TV above me. I looked up to see that it was tuned to some channel that apparently shows graphic, uncensored veterinary procedures being performed. A vet was in the process of scooping large amounts of feces out of a very agitated cat's rear end using his fingers. This was just on the 75-inch screen on full volume in a toy and candy shop. It was absolutely disgusting. If you have children (or a weak stomach), avoid this place. Obviously there isn't going to be cat rectum surgery on the TV at all times, but if that's the kind of stuff that's considered acceptable for them to show, who knows what you'll see. I can't imagine something worse than what I saw, but maybe you'll get to find out what that is if you go into this store. read more

Me and my boyfriend are on vacation to Oregon for our 2 year anniversary and were walking around doing touristy stuff, he vapes and he was doing it outside of the shops (we already know it's frowned upon) he finished his last one and we went inside and I believe the manager was yelling at him saying "omg how dare you bring your cigarette smoke" and he politely said I'm sorry I didn't mean to; and she continued to chase us through the whole store saying we are not welcome and to not come back. By far the most disrespectful experience we have had, go there when a bigger blonde lady ISNT THERE and I'm sure you'll have a great time looking through the shop :) read more

Salt water taffy.... awwww man. They have a thousand flavors....well maybe not a thousand, but they have maybe 30 flavors. Not to mention all of the old time stuff you had as a kid, like those little butterscotches.... they also have fudge and all sorts of other candy. Nearly anything you can think of in the candy department, they have it. Reasonable prices too. read more

I stopped in while we were househunting in Seaside.. . I'm so glad that I did! They have a somewhat small selection of candy, but had a good selection of well-made, tourist type tee shirts and sweatshirts. Also noticed a great variety of stuffed animals for the kiddos. The shop was very clean and well kept. The sales woman was so refreshingly helpful and friendly! She immediately welcomed us to the shop and provided stellar service. She was also very helpful with local insight and knowledge. read more

Dull. Everything about this place is screaming with dullness. The clerk is a dud. The taffy is the same crap most of the stores on the coast sell. Rascals has tried to make an impact with cutsie decor, but something is missing. They have a ton of competition in town. Some of the shirts are better quality than one sees in the other clothing stores. read more

This store has the best taffy on the west coast the owners are nice and the store is colorful and happy. When I first came in the store it was spotless and clean. The owners will open you with open arms what a great place. read more

Yummmmmy salt water tafffyyyyy!!! Very nice people also! Although... I would probably travel down to the Buzz for REALLY good taffy....
