This is an update to a previous brunch review that had some issues. The manager kindly reached…read moreout and provided a $100 gift card to entice us to give them another try. This time was a dinner for three. We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell that were fresh and delicious. Appreciated that we were notified that they have Happy Hour Tues-Fri 3pm-5pm with 1/2 price oysters. Also had the Fried Smelts which were tasty. Two of us had Craft burgers. This time they did arrive as ordered (last time med rare arrived well done) but they mixed the orders. One was med rare and the other rare. Not nice having to change burgers after each taking a bite. Despite the mix up the juicy burgers and fries were excellent. The other order was the Braised Beef Cheek Birria Grilled Cheese. This was very good but a touch pricey at $28 for what you get. Speaking of price, the craft burger is $24. I asked for a side of mayo for the fries and it arrived promptly. They charged $2 for the mayo which was not mentioned. Considering that our total bill ran $250 it seemed out of place to charge for mayo. One of the best reasons to come to Craft Farmacy is to try craft beers which they rotate regularly. We each enjoyed a beer or two. For desert we ordered their Chai Crème Brûlée and Crack Pie with gelato. Both are highly recommended. We also had glass of sherry that unfortunately was off and had to be sent back. Replaced with a glass of Port. When the bill arrived the sherry was not removed, they did take it out when we caught the mistake. Our meal was much better than the last visit. All of the food was well prepared this time but the little mistakes on burger mixup and sherry on the bill were disappointing. Still if looking for a good burger and a great beer you can do a lot worse than Craft Farmacy.

We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered the restaurant. Even though we had made a reservation, we were given the choice of 3 tables, which we really appreciated. We ordered two cocktails to start. I had the Flora Mexican which was amazing! it was floral, a little sweet, a little sour and just the perfect amount of yum. I loved it. My husband had the Improved Whisky Cocktail. It was also very good, with Rye, Maraschino and a nice hit of Absinthe. We decided to share some items from the crudo part of the menu. We had the salmon carpaccio which came with squid ink crackers and some lovely little pickled items. It was outstanding. We had the tuna tataki which also had lots of little pickled items and was amazing, but for me the actual tuna stole the show. The last item we ordered was the venison tartare. OMG, it was fabulous. The flavour of the venison was wonderful and the chili and capers just added so much to the dish. The cured egg yolk shaved on top gave it a subtle hint of saltiness. Everything was fantastic. The service was great and the ambience was too. We will most definitely be back when we return to London. Highly recommend this place.

I was so excited that yet another joint was popping up just a short distance from my house. A proper bar any millennial would adore. From Instagram worthy drinks to the dark, vibey decor, this is a REALLY cool spot. We only went in for drinks but the food menu made my mouth water. My boyfriend got the 'Where There's Smoke, There's Fire' which came in a smoke filled bell jar. I've seen this done before so I wasn't blown away by any means, but it is pretty cool, specially if you're doin it for the 'gram. I got the Reign in Blood which was SUPER cool and creative. This blood-red drink arrived in this beautiful chalice-like glass and the salt rim down the side looked like fangs. I felt like a true vampire and I drank that sh** up. Our drinks were great! So what gives? It all came down to service. I'm not sure if our waiter was having a rough go of it or what, but he was Kurt. No...sorry, his name wasn't Kurt...he WAS curt. We tried to joke with him but nothing was landing. He was swift to pull the menu from my hands as we finished ordering. Something about the whole experience was just...off. What could have been a great night out was sadly tainted. Regardless of this experience, I really do encourage you to make a visit to Company Bar. Please, enjoy the delicious libations that await you there. I will definitely be giving this spot another chance...and hopefully Kurt will be more than happy to take our order. :)

Everyone loved their food and I've heard several people say that it's their new favourite restaurant. Our waitress was Christina and we were all impressed. She was so kind and very helpful. My daughter-in-law & I both have food allergies so she made sure to point out what we could eat. She had another table to take care and yet she didn't get flustered or make us feel that she was in a rush. It was definitely a wonderful experience. Billie Jo G.

Stupidly, we ignored the negative Yelp reviews, thinking that it would be fine for a family lunch…read moreon a trip through London. While it was not the worst ever, it was not fine. The main problem was the very slow service. I wish we had timed the period between getting drinks (from a very limited Pepsi-based non-alcoholic selection) and when our server returned to take our order. It was probably a full 15 minutes, during which there were no interactions at all with wait staff. When she finally came back, she acted like she had just left, with no apology. After the food was delivered (in a reasonable amount of time) by other staff members, our server reappeared one more time and I finally got a refill of my empty glass (probably 10 minutes empty). Then, no more visits until we flagged her down for the check. Then the funny part: My daughter was almost out of Pepsi and the server asked if she wanted a refill. My daughter said, "Yes, could I get a to-go cup?" Instead of bringing a regular new cup of Pepsi, the server brought back a small plastic cup, barely larger than a Dixie cup, for my daughter to pour the watered-down remains of Pepsi from her regular glass into. No "to-go drink" was offered besides that. And it was just a fountain Pepsi! The whole experience was just frustrating. They were badly short-staffed, but no one acknowledged how long everything was taking. What keeps it out of 1-star territory is that the food was solid. Not the greatest ever, but if the service were decent, I probably would have rated the whole thing highly. I got the chicken curry and it was good.

We ordered beet salad, artichoke dip, crab cakes, Kang's fiery pork and Smokey BBQ lime chicken. All of the dishes were categorized as appetizers but they were main dish sizes! It's hard to imagine with $30+ per person, you can enjoy a fancy meal with attentive service these days. Unlike many other restaurants in GTA, this place doesn't charge you money for bread and the quality is so good. I really like the soft butter with good scent. The beet salad with goat was quite refreshing. The artichoke dip was flavourful too. The pork is tender and flavourful (spicy). Strongly recommend these three dishes. I didn't like the crab cake which doesn't have much crab flavour and the texture of which is weird too. The chicken is dry too. The server was offering to replace our chicken dish with something else when he heard the dish was so-so (although we didn't ask him to switch it). We were so satisfied with the environment and service here that we wanted to revisit during the rest of our trip if they were opening on those days. It'll definitely be my number one dinner choice when I'm revisiting London.

My date had a chicken entree and absolutely loved it. They still need to add sound deadening pads to the ceiling, but it wasn't too busy, so I could hear my date. service was ok, but we ran late due to conversation, and felt pushed to go. at least i wasn't called hunny this time.
