Very glad I did so! Nice counter service cafe type that immediately feels welcoming. The tables were all clean so I quickly made my order and found a spot to tuck into. First things, the maple latte I ordered exceeded my expectations. Lovely latte with great flavor that wasn't overpowering. Sometimes the sweeteners pack too much punch but this latte was spot on. The food was also nice! Very southern comfort. Flakey and buttery biscuits galore with all the fixings available. Grits, potatoes, bacon, you name eat. I tried the berry waffles which were really nice as well. Again, not too sweet! The flavor was spot on though they could have been a tad crispier. But it's a solid option for coffee and brunch in the area. The prices are super reasonable and the staff was patient and friendly.

The biscuit was good but not as good as it was back then. Something is missing. The sauce is not as flavorful as before and the biscuits were a little bit tough and dry. The chicken was good but not remarkably juicy or memorable. However, the service was great as usual and the ambiance was good too. I love their outdoor seating and I really like how they got rid of the question of the day naming system. Overall, I'll be returning to Maple Street until they close and ordering the peach lemonade and Five & Dime every single time.

All the other shops do it fine; Deeply, Stemma, Lineage. Framework etc - their average wait time is like 5-8 minutes once you order. Craft has some serious issue with the efficiency of their barista line. And I am aware craft coffee isn't immediate unless you're getting drip - I'm only ordering an Americano, its one of the easiest beverages to make. I will sometimes even people who ordered after me get something fancy and then get their drink before mine! And to that note, its not the best coffee. Its surely good, its quality; but they're not making the best stuff in town. If there's some extra steps or something going on, its not worth making me wait at minimum 15 minutes for a drink when there's literally no line, 5 people sitting down in the shop and 6 employees. It makes me not want to go to this shop ever, its just so unfortunately convenient to where I work that its THE place to go. So thats why I'm writing this - were in the same space and I want to see them improve their wait times. They've been consistently bad for far too long! The food arrived quickly for the place being packed, however, the tables were turning over quickly as patrons were leaving after tanking up on their meal. This place never disappoints.
