No wires popping out around the passenger compartment and the parking monitor is on. Got the referral from an auto body repair shop so I figured it was worth the chance, and it was. I walked home while they put the dash cam in, but they have a clean waiting area and they're close to food places if you want to / need to hang out. I don't know what the going rate is for hardwired dash cam installation, but it seems reasonable to me especially since it's not in my wheelhouse. They sell dash cams there if you just want to purchase one from them.

As a former car radio, alarm, car-phone, etc, installer myself, I was contemplating on buying the camera and installing it myself, but I did not want to risk braking anything so I had Tom and his guys do the job. The price was extremely fair, and the workmanship was excellent. I am very meticulous with my installs, and they superseded my expectations. So, one week after my son's install (yesterday), I had Tom and his guys install the same camera setup on my new Camry. Once again, phenomenal install. This is definitely the place for your car electronic needs. They do high-end radio systems and custom speaker box builds and installs, which is extremely hard to find nowadays. Tom and his guys are all genuinely nice, professional, and honest people. I highly recommend Street Sounds Plus!

I cannot hype up JB Customs enough. I brought in my Mustang Mach-E for two upgrades -- a light-up…read morepony emblem and new door sills -- and the entire experience was absolutely perfect. First of all, the price was hands-down the fairest anywhere nearby. I called multiple shops before choosing this one, and everyone else gave me outrageous quotes. JB Customs offered a price that was extremely reasonable -- honestly shockingly cheap for the quality of work. And the install? Ridiculously fast. He works with surgeon-level precision but somehow finishes everything faster than any shop I've ever dealt with. The light-up pony came out flawless -- clean wiring, perfect alignment, no gaps, no issues. It looks factory, but better. The door sills (non-illuminated) were installed perfectly as well. Straight, secure, spotless -- exactly how they should look. Not a single scratch or misalignment. On top of all that, he's friendly, honest, and clearly takes pride in his craft. No upselling, no pressure -- just real professionalism. If you want any custom work done -- cosmetic, lighting, accessories -- JB Customs is the ONLY place you should take your car. Fast, fair, flawless. This shop deserves way more recognition.

After having the front two windows done and allowing the appropriate amount of time for the tint to cure (about a week, with the car in the sun), I noticed a few bubbles in the main and 1/4 windows of the drivers side. Right around this same time, COVID strikes and everyone is on lockdown here in LA County. Awesome ‍ The imperfections weren't huge, but I knew they were there and it was a new car so it bugged me more than I'm willing to admit. Fast forward to July and I felt safe enough to venture out. I called Jay on Monday and he was able to fit me in this morning. He re-did the bubbled tint free of charge and was as courteous and professional and even more meticulous. While it did take a 2nd trip, Jay did what he had to to make it right and keep a customer happy. Thank you Jay! After considering a few options, Rashmi V.'s review had me sold. Setting things up could not be easier. I called Mike and asked to set up a 10am appointment on a Monday late last month. Just give him the year, model and make of your ride, the number of windows you need tinted, and the type of film you want and Mike will give you an estimate for the job. Long story short, I waited about an hour for him to tint the front driver and passenger side windows; that was actually far quicker than I expected. I was charged a very fair and reasonable price, especially considering the quality. There are plenty of places to get your windows tinted, but Blackout is among the best out there. Mike knows what he is doing and does a damn good job at it; he's a no BS type of guy. After my experience, I highly recommend Blackout Window Tinting.
