We ordered a couch from Wayfair. That's a whole other review lol. RAS was supposed to deliver it this past Thursday April 23. They never showed up. Whole day wasted waiting on them to show up. The secretary called at the last second at the end of her day trying to reschedule. And she didn't even offer an explanation as to why the delivery wasn't made. We had a cell number for the truck. They kept sending it to voicemail. So frustrating!! Boyfriend took another day off Friday. He's scheduled for a heart procedure this week. And as the delivery was being made they wouldn't bring anything of those heavy boxes into the house. He was having to pull 10 boxes into the house with no help. I understand if the homeowner isn't home then yes leave it outside on the porch but if the homeowner says please help me get these boxes in then they should despite anything else. And I'm thinking about sending the hospital bills to RAS because I ended up taking bf to the hospital thinking he was having a heart attack. Just so pissed!! read more

**Repeated Service Failures and Negligent Communication** I am sharing this review due to an unacceptable delivery experience with R.A.S. (Roanoke, VA) regarding a large item delivery ordered through Wayfair. Primary Issues: Failure to Perform: Repeated "no-shows" occurred after we accommodated delivery windows outside of business hours (R.A.S should not be attempting delivery to businesses outside of 8am-5pm - they had offered as early as 7am and as late as an 8pm window!). On multiple occasions, our staff remained on-site for 3+ hours outside of normal operating hours, yet R.A.S. never arrived. Dishonest Reporting: Drivers logged "attempted delivery" while our office was staffed, watching and waiting for delivery. In one instance, a driver called asking if there was anyone available for a 1st floor delivery, despite us being a business suite with confirmed 2nd-floor delivery, then proceeded to say he'd be there in 5 minutes, never showed up, and falsely marked the item as delivered. Poor Communication: Their dispatch has no contact with delivery drivers, I have at minimum, 20 phone calls logged back and forth. They are supposed to call the night before with a delivery window, or at least the next morning, and I only recall that happening maybe twice - all other times I had to call them to obtain, and often their voicemail was full (they close at 4pm also!). Their half-hour prior to arrival "notification" system consisted of calling and immediately hanging up, likely to falsely document a contact attempt. Even on delivery day - they were supposed to arrive in the afternoon but called at 9:15am and hung up. Thankfully we recognized this pattern, immediately called the number back and got them to deliver. R.A.S. demonstrated a complete lack of professional accountability and logistical competence. I strongly advise against using their services. read more

Update: the third fridge delivery from RAS was also returned due to damage. I finally cancelled my order with GE and bought from PC Richards instead (though more expensive). You've heard it before, but it's worth repeating - if I could give this business ZERO stars, I would. I purchased a 60 in vanity from Wayfair and selected the white glove delivery, which meant that the item would be delivered to a room of my choice. White glove delivery is not free, but I was willing to pay for the service, as I would not be able to move the item myself down a flight of stairs. On the day of delivery, only one delivery person arrived. He said that his delivery partner was sick and so we'd have to arrange an alternate time for a delivery team to move the item to my basement. I felt sick about that suggestion, as I just knew I'd have a fight on my hands. The delivery person left a note on the paperwork to indicate that a team would have to come out and said he'd relay the problem to the scheduling team as soon as he arrived back at the office. After failing to receive a call from scheduling, I made the call to schedule the delivery team. The woman who assisted me on the phone apologized, but it was clear from the start that she was not going to be able to help me. She said she'd try to figure something out in the morning and that she'd call me back. I just received a call back to let me know that they could not send a team, with no real clear reason given. Instead, she suggested I call Wayfair and ask for my white glove delivery money back. I would have never ordered the item in the first place if I knew this would be the result. Now I have a 300 pound vanity sitting in my garage, with installers due to the house in a matter of days. This delivery service company lacks integrity and does not value the customer. It's clear that their contract with Wayfair is their priority. If you have a choice of delivery services, do not pick this company. The delivery drivers are so rushed by the employer that they literally slid $10,000 worth of appliances down the back of the truck instead of taking the time to use their liftgate. They destroyed my house doors floors and brand new cabinets in a brand new home. They then make it so hard for you to give them what they need because when you do they ask for six more things, then when they exhaust all those requests they want four more things and then a site visit. It has been six months of living in a brand new house with a broken TV damage floors dented freezer and damaged cabinets still no money and no communication. Horrible company!! I was supposed to have 3 appliances delivered by them on 8/9/2022. I got a text message at 1344 asking if I was home. I told them yes and never heard from them again. I have called multiple times and gotten no answers from them. No one can tell me where my appliances are or when they will be delivered. I have been hung up on twice by their "representatives." They are extremely rude on the phone and completely useless. I would not recommend them to move my trash from my house to the trash can, let alone use them to deliver appliances. read more

They were supposed to deliver my laundry machine a few weeks ago, I took off work and they didn't show up. They rescheduled to today. They didn't show up again. They don't answer the calls, we even drove to their address to see what was happening. They are not there anymore. The new company there said this company moved out a while ago. The store where I bought the laundry machine doesn't know what's going on. It was a horrible experience. They didn't provide the promised service. They were rude--did not show up at the agreed upon time and then were annoyed when I didn't have the person available who could help. I was not rude but was flustered as I'm scrambling to find someone to come help me. They walked out mid conversation and tried to leave with my fridge on their truck. their manager instructed them to wait until my spouse got here at the agreed upon time. They drove off as he was arriving. They turned around and started to unload. There is so much more to this story--they never asked us to sign anything, dumped the fridge in our driveway when their work order said "room of choice" and we had cleared the way, taken doors off hinges, taken off all the packaging, etc. Rolled their window up on my husband while he was asking them why they were leaving before the job was completed and drove off. We had to pay additional money (after paying for a product that included delivery and install) for another crew to come help my husband move it into place. (It took 5 minutes). I'm still waiting on the manager to call--I'm sure I won't hear from him. He would rather leave work early and make his office staff listen to irate and frustrated customer when she has no ability/authority to assist. Our exp shows a lack of integrity for the entire comp and a lack of pride in their work. I would NEVER use them again and I would never suggest any business hire them. They contract out to third party "delivery companies" that consist of two guys that work for themselves and then done insure decent work is done by the third party crew they hire. They take no pride in their work and don't do what they say they will do. It takes very little effort to be a good person and treat people right. Apparently, even that is too much. read more

Never had a more terrible experience with any other delivery service. If I can give negative star I would. The delivery driver said "I can't take your appliances down the football field" when there is one house between where he parked the truck and the house. I showed him how to go around the building and enter the house from the back because there are fewer stairs in the back. I guess that added up to more than the yardage allowed. So he refused delivery and just drove off with all my appliances. I can't believe my purchases are allowed to be held hostage by this delivery agency this way. I ordered a washer and dryer from Home Depot and RAS is the third party that delivered them. When they delivered to units I didn't find anything wrong with it, but they couldn't install the dryer because the duct was smaller than the part they brought with them. So it took me a about a week to figure determine/order/return/order again and finally install the dryer. When I started running the dryer I noticed that it was shaking heavily. So I turned it off and noticed that the dryer was wobbly. I checked the bottom and it was dented. I assume the trucking company dented it, but who knows. Because I called outside of the 48 hour grace period they won't do anything to help/mitigate. Oh, and they delayed the order by an ENTIRE WEEK! Be aware, ALWAYS THOROUGHLY check your deliveries, especially when delivered by RAS delivery service, so you don't end up like me. read more

I have one star and actually it should be zero. My washing machine purchased from Home Depot should have been delivered on 12/9 (I bought it on 12/1) no delivery. I tracked it up to 3 orders ahead of me then it stopped moving. I called Home Depot 4 times Saturday evening and they could not see any reason for the delay. I then had to wait because RAS isn't open on Sunday. Monday I called the store back and spoke to several people who tried to help me and was told it would be delivered on 12/12.....guess what...no delivery. At this point I decided I would call a local delivery company (R2 Delivery) to go get it and bring it to me. When Home Depot called RAS they said they would "try" to locate my washer and call me. No call as of yet. These people are horrible. At this point I wonder if my washing machine is even there!! read more

This installation service was a nightmare. It took 8 attempt to get them to finally get them to "install" a washer and dryer and they still didn't complete the service. Its a joke. They smelled like marijuana. They tracked mud and dirt all in my house. They have no clue what they are doing. Call center connected me with the local office. Local office rescheduled me for a couple of days later when I could be home. Instead, they showed up on the day that I was not home. I called and left multiple messages TO THE LOCAL OFFICE! Their voicemail says they will call back within an hour. Never got a call back. Multiple calls. No call back. Called the call center back. They sent them an email, and said my call would be returned within two hours. No call back. Finally got a call through and someone actually picked up the phone at the local office. Failed to deliver my Wayfair purchase 2 days ago. The truck pulled up in front of my house, two men ended up closing up the back end and leaving without delivering anything, and didn't call or ring the doorbell. No one from the delivery service has contacted me the past two days and they didn't answer their phone. Waited 6 weeks for the 1st refrigerator delivery which was damaged by one of the team mates. No biggie, they were friendly so I reordered. Waited another 3 weeks for the 2nd delivery. During installation I kept hearing the door chime alert but thought nothing of it once it stopped after a few minute. Two days later, I find out that they had unplugged the wire to the chime so that it would not sound. Since the refrigerator thinks the door is open, I have no ice or water functionality at the door. Purchased full set of appliances through Homedepot who uses RAS Delivery. RAS directly gave me an afternoon / evening window for delivery for a business (uhm we aren't open!). Had to cancel plans to wait for the delivery outside normal business hours. They never called, never came. Dispatch said they were on an install job right before mine and they were running a bit late. Second call to them after window and dispatch said "oh the work order is closed out, they're not following procedure". The drivers appeared to have decided to just go home for the weekend. Least they could've done was give me a heads up they weren't going to do their job. Not the first time this has happened with this company. They just really don't give a crap about their service, as long as they keep their bigger customers like Home Depot juuuust happy enough... and cheap enough... to keep their contract with them going. read more

They admitted their fault and apologized, as they should. RAS now is giving me the run around. POOR EXPERIENCE; I bought my furniture from Wayfair and they use R.A.S as a delivery provider. So far I am disappointed - the furniture delivery was scheduled on Nov 29th - Sunday between 9am-1pm. No one showed up, and no one called. It was Sunday, so it was impossible to call R.A.S and asked what happened and check on the delivery status. Finally, on Monday I reached the delivery company. I was advised "they have no clue what happen and why the driver never dropped off the furniture", well WHO ELSE SHOULD KNOW??? I was told the furniture can be delivered on their next trip to New Jersey ( I guess the company is located in Pennsylvania) and it will be on Dec 8th, so I need to wait extra 9 days to get my stuff. This company is who is supposed to deliver a refrigerator that was purchased at home Depot. The scheduled delivery date was supposed to be on a Friday between 1p and 4p at 12:45 I received a text stating they would be there in 15 minutes. The delivery driver called and I told him I was about 10 minutes away and please begin unloading. As I arrived the truck was leaving my subdivision. They decided not to begin unloading and left. I was then told they could deliver on Monday and they would let me know the day of the delivery time. i agreed and took a second day off work to wait on them. That Monday after not hearing from them I called at noon. They stated it was supposed to be the following week. I was told wrong by the scheduler. So at this point I was facing a third day off work and a 3 weeks with out a refrigerator. So begrudgingly in I agreed. The day of delivery the company did not contact me so I reached out to them. Each time the company stated they will call me. I advised them how this was the third time I was supposed to have this delivered. They never called back or showed up. So they completely missed the delivery. The next morning they called me and stated they needed to reschedule me for the following week. I was very disappointed and advised them of their mistakes and that I will cancel my delivery and not be subjected to this poor customer service. I called home Depot and cancelled my order. I was very happy to find a refrigerator at a local appliance store and got it delivered on time with in 3 days. Should have known better that to buy from big box. In the end the 200 dollars i saved by buying from big box cost me over 3k in lost wages from days taken off. Could have purchased 2 refrigerators!! Worse delivery service company. Ran by completely incompetent management and probably won't change because they deal in volume due to the big box account. First, we were supposed to get our appliance on Tuesday between the hours of 5:30-9:30 pm. Nothing came. They called and said the delivery truck wrecked/broke down. Rescheduled for Wednesday for another 4 hour window. The window came and went with no calls. I called at the end of the window and said, what's going on? They said the truck bottomed out and needs to be serviced. So ANOTHER truck failed in the span of 2 days. So they said, we'll reschedule for Thursday evening. I said what is the window? They couldn't tell me. The next morning, I get an update saying they'll deliver it Friday from 12:30-4:30 pm. The time came and went with nothing. I was called at 8:21 am and was told the delivery of my refrigerator was 20 minutes out, so we expected them by about 8:40. After an hour past the delivery time, we tried to call the driver and got no answer. We then called Home Depot and was told they use a third party and are not responsible for the delivery! They eventually told us that they would follow up with R A S and see what was going on. After another hour, we called back to Home Depot and was told they had no update. At 12:34, after 4 hours of waiting, R A S called and said the truck broke down and they were waiting for parts! We would get our delivery but they had no ETA. I understand truck problems but you would think they wouldn't wait four hours to let clients know. This is my first and will be my LAST purchase from Home Depot and last delivery from R A S Logistics! read more

1 star says it all...look elsewhere. If you want to hear the whole story, sit down and grab a cup of coffee as I am going to give a thorough account of my experience with RAS Delivery. I do not write these often, but the stunning unprofessional actions of this Company need to be warned again. I purchased a washing machine through Home Depot. As a part of the purchase, I also purchased installation of stacked machines. When the delivery man arrived the first time he insisted the would not stack the machines. When I went to call his manager about this issue he went out to the truck with my wife following and stormed off without delivering the machine. In leaving he narrowly missed hitting my wife and drove over my lawn. I called Home Depot and complained. Though they listened, the soonest they could re-deliver the machine was 4 days later. The lack of professionalism and courtesy from the original driver from RAS was on a level that stunned even my son who witnessed the whole event. His name was 'Nilton' yes it is with an N, good luck and tread carefully if you have him delivering an item to your home. Fast forward to the second delivery, 4 days later. To their credit, the person who came the second time was very polite. However, he also learned that installation was a part of the job however, none of the installation parts (hoses, etc) had been included with the shipment (NOTE: We understood they would not stack the units, and never asked them to the 2nd time...this becomes important in a bit). He was very apologetic, owned up to the fact that RAS Delivery and 'his manager' had made a mistake. He offered to leave the washing machine in my garage (Which is a floor below where I need the washer delivered). I refused fearing they would never come back to move and install it. So 2 attempted deliveries and no luck getting my machine inside and hooked up. Home Depot was able to get them come back the next day, but when Home Depot talked with them RAS Manager, either lying, or based on mis-information from the delivery crew, RAS claimed that the reason they had not delivered the washing machine was because we had insisted they stack them during the installation. That is NOT true and in fact we had un-stacked the machines already and only wanted the washer hooked up. Many people say the third time is the charm....not in this case. The third delivery also could not go off without a problem. This time thankfully they came, the installed the washer and set it up nicely. They also took away my old machine which was a part of the agreement. I also want to say that this crew was also very nice. However, they did not bring all the items with them. There was no stacking kit included in the delivery so I will have to correct that with home depot. So if you enjoy setting aside your schedule, waiting around for delivery people, and then repeat the process 2 more times times without complete success than this company is for you. If you want it done right the first time...you might want to look elsewhere. read more
