The worst company that I have ever dealt with. Waiting on a delivery for 3 days now. They assure me every day that it is on the truck and out for delivery. There's too much to explain. This place is an absolute joke. No calls, missing pieces, multiple failures on EVERY level. Management clearly has no idea how to run their company or flat out does not care. Nothing but lies and attitude from them. STAY AWAY from this place if you have any say in the matter. The worst experience ever with delivery, Alcoa based company and no communication I was stood up 4 times!! They give a 4 hour window so I had to be home from work, losing wages, and they no showed, and didn't call a total of 4 times, I had to call them to follow up to see why they no showed each time. After the 4th time, I called Saatva and told them to cancel my order and give me a full refund. The expensive mattress cost me even more due to the wages I lost waiting on this failure of a company. Saatva tried to get them to commit to a delivery as well to no avail, then I tried to convince Saatva to use a different company and they couldn't. So they lost my business as will any company that uses them in the future. They are the WORST! read more

No delivery yet from Crosstown Curriers even though for 4 weeks now they have been holding my refrigerator. They received my refrigerator and still have it. They first said they didn't have it and couldn't schedule delivery. Then after nagging them long enough they finally looked up the tracking number I had been trying to give them all along. Then proceeded to tell me that they were booked up and would get to it when they had an opening. I pressed for a date and the lady got really annoyed at me. She said they were doing the best they could and that I would just have to wait until they would be able to get me on the schedule. I am sitting here at home with no refrigerator because mine went out. They have scheduled delivery 2 times after I kept calling them and both times I waited at home missing work and both times were a NO Show. They never bothered to even call and tell me. This place is CRIMINAL!!!!! You pay for items and they just hold them as long as they feel like it and treat the customers like trash!!! The WORST people I have ever dealt with!!! And their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!! read more

If you need a carrier that has concern for getting your 37 item shipment delivered complete, or that has concern for finding items they lost, or that has interest in expediting delivery of the items they lost after they finally found them, you might want to look elsewhere. We ordered a king size bed frame through Amazon and this was the company that was set to deliver it. After they had received the frame we got a call saying it would be delivered on a Saturday. They told us that we would have a 30 minute call in advance of the delivery. We never received a 30 minute advance call, and they did not deliver the frame within the 3 hour window on Saturday. After calling them to check on the status of the delivery (that same Saturday), the company told us that our item had not been loaded onto the truck for delivery. They did not call us to let us know, and there was quite a bit of confusion as to where the item was. We were told by staff that they would call us back to update us repeatedly, but no one ever did call back. We were always the ones having to reach out to confirm where our rather expensive shipment was (all while waiting at home for a delivery that did not come). We ran into similar but more disturbing issues the following week when our item had STILL not been delivered or found- On Monday we had to relay our entire story to multiple staffers who had difficulty answering our questions as to the whereabouts of our frame. We were told towards the close of business on Monday that the frame would be delivered the next day between 3-5 pm. By 4:15 on Tuesday we had still not received a 30 minute advance call to let us know that the shipment and driver were on the way. So, we called the office and were placed on a long hold (30+ minutes) in order to "locate the driver and confirm a shipment status". Seeing as it was a work day we did have to hang up to work, and by the time we were able to revisit the issue the office had closed. No one had called us at the call back number we provided with an update, and the after hours staff were completely unaware of our situation or where our shipment may be. Throughout all of this, despite requesting to speak with management multiple times- staff avoided handing the problem off to a manager. We were told that we would receive call backs with information more than a few handfuls of times and never did, the story of where our (almost $3000) bed frame was changed multiple times (first it made it onto the truck Saturday and the driver couldn't unload it, then it didn't make it onto the truck, then it was going to be delivered Tuesday, then they didn't even know where it was, etc.) All of this to say that we now have the FINAL answer on what happened to our bed frame- it was indeed delivered on Saturday. To who, I am sure, is a very kind woman who opened it, set it up in her bedroom, and is currently sleeping on it mistakenly thinking that it was hers. Infuriating does not even begin to cover how ridiculous this entire experience has been. Absolutely pathetic excuse of customer service, attention to detail, and follow through. We didn't choose them, and this happened to us by proxy. Be warned if you are looking at them as a company to use and you have a choice. From what I have read in other reviews these are not new issues. This company needs a serious reorganization. So many people dropped the ball I do not even know where management should begin to correct the situation. It may be best to just wipe the slate clean and start over in this customer's opinion. read more

Horrible!!!! Home Depot is using these people to deliver goods and they suck. No communication!!! Sat at home for delivery window from 8am to 12pm. Door didn't show so called at 12:15, told running late and would be there. Called again at 3:00 pm and told the same thing. Asked if could get any idea when they might show and said no!!!!! Still waiting on my door. Called Home Depot to report them and suggested they find another delivery company. I had a hot tub deliverers from wayfair. Crosstown Knox was our courier. I received both email and phone communication from the company and on the day of delivery I heard from the driver as well. The driver Jeremy and his partner TJ or AJ we're punctual, cordial, and very capable. They Unloaded my hot tub safely and were very helpful. It has been a long time since I received such excellent and professional service. I highly recommend this team. read more

Crosstown (South Carolina location) has been the worst delivery system I've dealt with. They've been holding my Wayfair package for a month now and I've received no communication from them at all. I've called dozens of times over the last couple weeks and nobody answers, ever! I've called multiple numbers and multiple locations, no answer. Wayfair can't get in touch with anybody either. Wayfair has received two email notifications about two different delivery dates given by Crosstown. Both of those dates passed and still no package. And still no communication from Crosstown ever. In the future I will not be purchasing from companies who use Crosstown, not will I ever use them for shipping needs. read more

Alcoa was to deliver our hottub on 12/1/22. Never happened. Per the Nashville location, Alcoa's phones can't accept incoming calls. So I emailed them without response. Was rescheduled for delivery fir 12/7/22. That also did not happen. Have repeatedly tried calling them but never reach them. Called Customer Service for company we bought the hottub from and they haven't been able to get a response from Alcoa either. As of today, 12/22/22, no hottub ... not rescheduled for delivery ... their phone system has been down for nearly a month in this day and age ... extremely frustrated with this facility. Wish I could give them a zero star rating!!!!!! They are terrible with no communication!!!! read more

Oh my goodness, I ordered a vanity from Home Depot and they are having Crosstown Courier do the delivery. That would be just perfect if the delivery company actually communicated and delivered the product. I got a call on Monday with a four hour delivery window the next day. During the time they were supposed to deliver, I received another call letting me know the delivery was going to be on Wednesday. Wednesday comes around and I called just to make sure they were coming by. -- yes, you are on the schedule. Just before five when again they had not delivered the vanity I called and was told they would check with the driver and call me back. Eight o'clock on Wednesday evening. No call back , no delivery and a storm coming in. With my luck they will leave the vanity in the middle of the night during the storm. If you have a choice, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

I received a telephone call that my order would be shipped sometime therefore this courier would receive my order sometime and deliver the order only on Friday sometime. I just had the most horrific customer service experience I've ever had from the company that delivered this order, Crosstown- KNOX. I paid extra for "Room of Choice Delivery" and confirmed with the delivery company last Friday that this order would be going up once flight of stairs. Upon arrival, Terry Birnbaum greeted me and confirmed that the item needed to go upstairs. Once I led him down the short hallway to our stairway, he asked if there was an elevator. Once I stated that there was no elevator, he slammed my piece of furniture against the wall and said "I'm not f*cking doing this, this is Wayfair's problem". I had the order invoice in my hand that showed room of choice delivery and he said "I don't care, it's wayfair's problem, I'm not doing it". The woman who was with him from the delivery company said "I hate when he does this to me, he does this all the time." I told her that this was extremely unprofessional behavior and I would not accept the delivery when I paid for room of choice and wanted Mr. Birnbaum's boss' information, she said "he is the boss, but he does this all the time". She then marked out the (attached) delivery confirmation and marked "threshold" instead of room of choice delivery and told me to "ask Wayfair for a refund". She then proceeded to show herself to our restrooms while I made a copy of the delivery confirmation after signing. Mr. Birnbaum stormed back into our offices screaming at the woman who arrived with him to hurry up so they could leave. Absolutely disgusting service. read more

What AMAZING customer service from the Alcoa office. I placed 2 orders with Wayfair that Crosstown handled the local delivery for and Luanne was INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. Deliveries to my area were only scheduled for once a week but I needed each of my items in a real hurry so she made arrangements with drivers (Mike & Mike-who couldn't have been more polite and helpful!!!!) to get each item there the very next day.
