It was installed almost 10 years ago by 'another' roofing contractor. I initially went to them as we had GAF Golden Pledge Certificate from them. Make…read moresure to ask for Javier's team! 5 bids later, they were the only ones who told me about the issue with the missing flashing that is suppose to be installed under the gutters (a neighbor confirmed this happened to his gutters too). Low and behold the wood edging behind my old gutters was all rotted. They removed the rotted wood and installed the flashing and gutters directly on the plywood of the house, which they assured me was actually better than replacing the wood edging. There wasn't a downpour yesterday but everything worked as it should and I no longer had the three spots where I was getting overflow onto my patio and garden beds. So if you're having these issues, these are the guys to call!

Anastacio came out the first week of the new year and was very professional and knowledgeable. We needed some flashing replaced that was really never installed correctly. Anastacio was determined to make sure the work was done correctly. We waited after a heavy rain to ensure there were no more leaks on the ceiling before writing this review. There were no commercial surprises or extras. My goal was to have the most storm resistant roof I could reasonably buy and get approved by the HOA. I think I have that now. The new roof has also enabled me get a new lower cost home insurance policy. I did not change my roof as part of an insurance claim but my insurance savings will pay me back for the roof in 6 years. I can't say that I enjoyed having my roof replaced, but Merit ripped the Band-Aid off quickly and did the whole thing in one day. I don't think that is usual, but it worked for me.
