I have a warranty through AWRUSA that covers both my in-house plumbing and exterior lines, and when I discovered a leak in my basement tied to a crack in the main drain line, I knew it was going to be a complicated situation. A technician first came out to assess the problem and quickly realized that the crack extended beyond the interior wall and into the exterior portion of the line. At that point, Allied All City Inc. was assigned through AWRUSA, and they recommended a full replacement of the damaged section, which fortunately was covered under my warranty. The team arrived early and started around 8:30 AM. Before any digging began, they had someone come out to properly mark the gas lines, which I appreciated since it showed a strong focus on safety and doing things the right way. The job itself was not easy. It required several hours of digging and breaking through concrete to access and remove the damaged pipe. They explained that there really was no shortcut or temporary fix, and given how much I had already been relying on makeshift solutions just to hold things together, I agreed that a full replacement was the best long-term solution. Throughout the entire process, the crew was communicative and professional. They took the time to walk me through each step, explaining what they were doing and why. When they removed the damaged pipe, they even showed me the extent of the deterioration, which helped me fully understand how serious the issue had become.
